Interestingly, perhaps, I once had offices in that rotating skyscraper in Fireball XL5, and in that office block that goes underground in Stingray. I tell ya, that twenty-story rotating skyscraper was much more difficult to design and construct than simply going underground (you should’a seen the bearing plates we had to fabricate in the former case; relatively speaking, the hydraulics involved in the latter case were trivial). Unfortunately, I can’t say whether or not the current offices of SDA LNR studios are shown in Thunderbirds, that’s classified, but I can say that I’m Engineer Brains 😉
Here’s something you may not know about Supermarionation, from the Wikipedia link above: “The system used marionettes suspended and controlled by thin wires. The fine metal filaments doubled as both suspension-control wires for puppet movement, and as electrical cables that took the control signals to the electronic components concealed in the marionettes’ heads. The heads contained solenoid motors that created the synchronized mouth movements for dialogue and other functions. The voice synchronization was achieved by using a specially designed audio filter which was actuated by the signal from the pre-recorded tapes of the voice actors; this filter would convert the signal into a series of pulses which then traveled down the wire to the solenoids controlling the puppet’s lips, creating lip movements that were precisely synchronized with the dialogue.” Cool, eh what?

“‘YouTube’ must erase anti-Islam material: KHRS”
KUWAIT CITY : Kuwait Human Rights Society (KHRS) Chairman Dr Adel Al-Damkhi has asked the government to put pressure on the officials of ‘YouTube’ — a video sharing website — to delete all derogatory statements about Islam and Muslims from the site, reports Al-Seyassah.
Urging the authorities to take the necessary legal action in case the website fails to erase the statements, Al-Damkhi stressed “uttering profanities against Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the worst form of human rights violation in the world. Attacks on the values and tenets of Islam are extremely dangerous and unacceptable.”
Al-Damkhi pointed out the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) strongly condemns attacks on the holy prophets and religions. He confirmed KHRS recognizes the importance of freedom of conducting scientific research, exchange of information, and significance of the latest technologies and media on human lives, but it is against how ‘YouTube’ depicts Islam. He said this is an outright violation of the human rights of millions of Muslims all over the world.

In Austria’s recent national elections, voters gave significant support to a party that seeks to bring back Nazi symbols and salutes. The anti-immigrant Freedom Party (FPO), headed by Heinz-Christian Strache, former dental assistant and representative of Europe’s Cities Against Islamisation group, won 18 percent of the vote.
Another anti-immigrant party, the Alliance for Austria’s Future, led by Jörg Haider, a former Freedom Party leader who broke away and formed a new party in 2005, got 11 percent of the vote. Together, these allied parties won almost a third of the vote, giving them huge gains over the traditional leading parties, the center-left Social Democrats and the conservative Austrian People’s Party.

Re: debates. Does anyone else find it strange that the opposition paints Harper as mean with a temper, yet they are the ones who are spitting, spewing p****d off in their question, their tone, and their lack of civility?
Enjoy the ride with the media folks. They’re bringing in all their Liberal friends, touting how great and ready to lead Dion is. They keep bringing up ancient history on Harper like he mentioned when not in politics about putting a firewall around Alberta. NEVER do the media Liberal hacks,including Duffy challenge them or go to Harper’s defense.
I’ll say right now Harper is done if the people of this country are listening to Jackasses in the media for FACTUAL information. They’re not getting the truth and we’ll be losing the best PM we’ve had in memory because of it.

Your absolutely correct. As I posted here earlier, there is a pattern that you can discern. Its why I used a Muslim site to prove it with attitudes thrown in. We are at WAR with an international enemy fighting on many fronts like law fare, crime, dhimmitude by politicians, as well the battlefield. Its like a seesaw. Break the society inside on one end while using force on the other to create craven politicians in an heat of fear of there own persons & on it goes.. One of the first things to demoralize or use up resources of your foe, is to cause economic havoc towards the Country’s your fighting in . Make then spend more than you with human resources , police, ambulances , welfare system to make them weaker to divert monies for self protection. With elements tasked to cause crime or terrorism in your home Nation. The Isamists are using our own society to eviscerate our financial system. They have done this historically when infiltrating a society for conversion by sword or penalty . Seems this group has been wildly successful in doing so in an age of no family or loyalty which we caused. As well 5th column enclaves are appearing to spread the chaos even quicker. Attack the information gathers to blind an enemy as well. That with population growth spells the end of Europe as we knew it.
