    In Canada the MSM refer to Harpers hidden agenda to scare the voters but in the US campaign it seems the MSM have a HIDDEN AGENDA why else do they hide everything questionable in OB’s past?

There is no legitimate reason for anyone to criticize Obama, who is perfect, therefor, anybody criticizing him is flawed and can simply be dismissed as a crackpot.

    I am finding that many of my left leaning friends, though thank god, not Rashunda, are actually believing all the myths being put forth about Sarah Palin. I think we should all flood our media contacts with the myth busting realities.
    One woman completely believed that Sarah Palin had banned many book, even those not published yet, while she was the mayor.
    When I pointed out that to be false, she asked for verification that what I was saying was true, yet had completely swallowed the lie without thinking once to check it out.
    Here is my response to Rashunda’s line of thinking.
    If you only read the HuffPo or Daily Kos, you are getting a very left leaning view point. Try reading michellemalkin(dot)com in the US and smalldeadanimals(dot)com for the Canadian perspective.
    Sarah Palin’s draw for me is that she has been a governor for less than 2 years and has accomplished much. The stand she took to end corruption and payoffs by the oil companies to the Republicans in power got my respect. She also got the pipeline deal negotiated and signed when the oil and gas companies had initially refused to pay for it, demanding taxpayers fund it. She got rid of the unnecessary perks of being governor, which would have increased her own level of luxury and comfort, and did not serve the taxpayers.
    John McCain also has worked for years to try and stem the tide of political donations for favorable votes. His experience and readiness are evident.
    Looking at Barak Obama, what international affairs experience does he have? What are the laws that he proposed? What brilliant legal papers did he write when he was the head of the Harvard Law Review? How can someone vote “present” over 130 times as a state senator? Does he have no opinions? Did he not understand the legislation enough to form an opinion? Were all those pieces of legislation irrelevant to his constituents?
    How are those communities he organized doing? Where are the increases in quality of life for the residents of those communities? How many jobs were created? How much money went into “community programs” that were never realized at all? (Hint: most of it) What is the status of the apartment buildings that Obama was working on getting the asbestos out of?
    The answers to most of these questions can be found on the internet. All except the records of Ayers and Obama working together.
    What specifically qualifies Barak Obama to be president of the United States?
    How many black people are voting for Obama because he is like them? If greater than 95% of whites were voting for McCain, it’d be called racism, wouldn’t it? People are already assuming in advance that if Obama loses, it would only be due to racism.
    Why has the main stream media not asked him any questions about Ayers and Obama’s time together community organizing? Why have the records from that time been so hard to access by those trying to do due diligence on the candidate?
    How can he barely know the former Weather Underground terrorist, Ayers, yet have had his coming out party at Ayer’s home?
    If Barak Obama is as brilliant as everyone says he is, then he is truly a major disappointment when you review his record of accomplishment.

    I mean, if they are citizen Joe and Jane that try to do this, fine, their business, but to put the “prosecutor” tag next to their roles – that is absolutely frightening.

  7. Believe it or not you may in fact be witnessing the beginning of a push-back against governments, both local, state, and federal. The more government officials carry on this way, the more resentment there will be. My only question is whether enough people will listen to their head and gut for this upcoming election. If not, I’m sure they will in four years time.

  14. It will be interesting to see if they go after people or groups spreading untruths about McCain and Palin. Or will they just focus on comments made about Obama.
    From the tone of the interview comments, I would believe the latter, not the former.

    National Review, that bastion of (old?) Conservatism, and arguably one of the better publications out there, allowed a couple of its more notable commentators to question Palin’s credentials. Freedom of opinion and all that. Kathleen Parker and Kathryn Jean Lopez did just that. Parker told Palin to quit. Lopez told the McCain campaign to unleash Sarah Palin instead of protecting her.
    The latter has posted a rather amusing article on the response she got. Ideological blindness is alive and well. And unlike SDA, National Review is willing to admit that it exists on both sides.
    There is a new 11th commandment – Thou shalt not criticize Sarah Palin.

  24. In order to protest they should submit adds that promote Obama as “Our Glorious Leader” and how his change will help to elevate us all. Nothing but exquisite truth.
    No need to smear him, just tell everyone how awesome his Reign over us will be. We can only hope to bask in his presence for eternity.
    Why not just make wild predictions about what he Might do in office. No one can say your predictions are false, because they haven’t happened yet.

    They have gone to desperate and outrageous lengths to try to silence your NRA by bullying media outlets with threats of lawsuits if they run NRA-PVF’s ads. They have sent intimidating cease and desist letters to cable operators and television stations, threatening their FCC licenses if they run the ads.

  31. Yes, Irwin, but you should see what the Republican grassroots are doing to critics of Palin, particularly Conservative critics.
    The National Review, which has served as the flagship of Conservative opinion for so long, is taking a lot of flack for daring to criticize Palin. Its all over their front page.
