I think the younger brother has more in common with the average African American than Barrack is. He’d also likely be more reliable under pressure than his older brother.
Why wouldn’t Obama take his brother out of that? If you had the means to take your siblings out of a violent slum and help them out in life, most I think would do that.

Isn’t Ombama’s big resume item his work as a Community Developer? Clearly didn’t help his brother that much – but then it is relatively easy to develop a community when you have access to taxpayer dollars in a rich and wealthly country like the US. Not so easy in Africa – that’s why you have churches doing it using people who have a higher calling and are willing to sacriface a good deal of physical comfort and well-being to help others.

We will wait and see if he brings his brother to america, or finds him a decent home, and gives money to support him. If strangers are giving him millions to run his campaign, he could spare some change for his brother. At least Edwards if funneling 15,000/mo to the mistress and baby. Can someone explain to me how Obama has a half brother in Kenya who is destitute, and another half brother, also in Africa who is Muslim, and yet Obama is running for the office of President of the USA. I’m from Missouri so show me the family lineage and the birth certificate, help me understand how Obama qualifies.

So it is with Barrack Hussein Obama. He can’t hide who he is, including his beliefs and origins, his family history, his relatives. That’s the privacy you forfeit when you decide to “serve”in public office. People want to know all information, relevant or not,fair or not, that’s the nature of politics. Don’t get into it if you expect to hide anything.

I used to enjoy Bill Mahr when the show “Politically Incorrect” aired. I lost touch when he moved to HBO( big brother decided I wasn’t allowed to view that program). Recently I discovered his pod casts on i-tunes so naturally I tuned in. IMO Mahr has gone off the deep end, he is a certifiable loon who cannot rationally defend his asinine positions, especially wrt GWB. That being said I still find him funny, I have just lost complete respect for his so-called Libertarian view.

I agree with a prior post. There is no one, no matter their income who would not take steps to help a family member in that much need.

Theory of Birth Certificate Events:
1. Obama was born in Hawaii on Aug. 4, 1961, with the legal name Barack Hussein Obama II, and Barack H. Obama Sr. was identified as his legal father. [NOTE: an alternative theory, that Obama was born in Canada, is still being researched.]
2. Obama was adopted by Lolo Soetoro in Hawaii sometime around 1965-1966.
3. As part of the adoption procedure, pursuant to Hawaiian law, Obama’s original Birth Certificate (BC) was sealed, and a new Birth Certificate was issued with his new name, Barry Soetoro, and the name of his new father, Lolo Soetoro.
4. Mother and son joined Soetoro in Indonesia, where Barry Soetoro was registered in school as Lolo’s son, a Muslim, and a citizen of Indonesia.
5. After approximately 4 years, Barry Soetoro returned to Hawaii as a U.S. citizen to live with his grandparents, the Dunhams, and attend private school.
6. At some point before his 18th birthday, he most likely changed his legal name back to Barack Hussein Obama, but his Birth Certificate would not have been modified again
