RCMP launches investigation into CHRC tactics

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have begun an investigation into alleged criminal conduct by members of the Canadian Human Rights Commission.
The conduct in question was revealed at an extraordinary hearing on March 25th, a hearing the CHRC desperately tried to keep closed to the press.
An officer of Bell Canada, appearing under a subpoena, testified that the CHRC had hacked into a private citizen’s Internet account, to cover their electronic tracks as they surfed anti-Semitic websites under the alias “Jadewarr”. You can read the transcript of the hearing here — a transcript the CHRC did not release to the public.
The victim of the CHRC’s illegal hacking, Nelly Hechme, told reporters that she was “completely shocked” by the CHRC’s conduct. Canada’s Privacy Commissioner, who has jurisdiction over the CHRC, is now investigating the matter.
But not even the CHRC’s most passionate critics could have imagined that the Mounties would be investigating the CHRC.

  3. “31,000 scientists reject ‘global warming’ agenda
‘Mr. Gore’s movie has claims no informed expert endorses’
More than 31,000 scientists across the United States, including more than 9,000 Ph.D.s in fields including atmospheric science, climatology, Earth science, environment and dozens of other specialties, have signed a petition rejecting “global warming,” the assumption that the human production of greenhouse gases is damaging Earth’s climate.
“There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate,” the petition states. “Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.”
The Petition Project actually was launched nearly 10 years ago, when the first few thousand signatures were assembled. Then between 1999 and 2007, the list of signatures grew gradually without any special effort or campaign.”

  5. Jeeze, “transphobic” have the homosexuals, bisexuals, gender non specifics, whatevers got new words at the ready for any and all occasions? Never mind they’ve reinvented/stolen the word “gay”to have a different meaning for starters. Changed the institute of mariage, so anything is possible.
Dalton McGuinty has been given a second majority by the brain free voters of Toronto and environs and he can and will do whatever the hell he pleases. This is an issue he knows will cause some stir, take the heat off more pressing matters like the economy.

  6. What is a mature minor. Thought the SCC just said minors were not mature so can’t punish them. G&M has another poll re should mature minors be able to refuse medical treatment for religious reasons.
Out of curiosity I checked past poll results, and there it was, Yes for elected senate 61%, with over 5000 votes. Where did they come from as many voted yes but never had them recorded.

  8. John R. Bolton, Bring On the Foreign Policy Debate
Negotiation is not a policy. It is a technique. Saying that one favors negotiation with, say, Iran, has no more intellectual content than saying one favors using a spoon. For what? Under what circumstances? With what objectives? On these specifics, Mr. Obama has been consistently sketchy.
Like all human activity, negotiation has costs and benefits. If only benefits were involved, then it would be hard to quarrel with the “what can we lose?” mantra one hears so often. In fact, the costs and potential downsides are real, and not to be ignored.

Reuben F. Johnson, The Costs of Corruption
What has taken place over the last decade–and the reason that 10-year-old buildings collapsed and 20-year-old ones did not–is that “each generation of Chinese leaders in the central government is successively weaker than the previous generation,” said a Beijing-based analyst. “Local authorities feel increasingly emboldened to act in their own personal, self-interests and are far less afraid to take bribes and engage in other abuses of their position. All of these feeds the resentments of the local population.”

  10. “Piazza Oriana Fallaci al posto della moschea (Oriana Fallaci Plaza replaces mosque in Italy)
VERONA — Goodbye mosque. In its place, Oriana Fallaci Square.
This decision was taken by the committee of Oppeano (Verona, Italy), where yesterday morning a building used by Muslims for prayer was bulldozed. In its place, the Municipality will create a public square named after the writer of The Rage and the Pride, which promoted a bitter campaign against Islam.
The decision to raze the structure which had been opened by ONLUS [translator’s note: Organizzazione Non Lucrativa di Utilita’ Sociale, a non-profit registered Italian charity] “For the success of Muslims”, was taken by the municipal administration, which acquired the area for €70,000 in order to transform it into an open area for parking and green space.
“My citizens did not want this takeover,” explained the mayor, Alessandro Montagnoli, deputy of the Lega Nord, “above all because it could create problems of practicability and cohabitation with the residents.”” (via free republic)

  11. Third body found in debris
….Police have determined there was a firearm in the home and an accelerant was used to start the fire…
….Ahmad was known to police and had a criminal record of domestic violence dating back to 2005….
….Ahmad made little impression on his neighbours, most of whom say they never spoke to the Pakistani man but often saw relatives coming to visit….
…He was also associated with frequent visits from police and with getting into heated arguments with his wife, Ildiko Szava, 46. Szava was from Hungry, spoke little English and referred to her son as Alex, although his given name was Ali….
….The couple worked in the same company, where they “processed tickets for airlines,” said one neighbour….
….Victim Karolyne Gallasz, 70, was Ahmad’s mother-in-law and had recently arrived from Europe…..

  12. Where’s Taliban Jack? We need negotiations quick… think of the children!
    ==============
Extremists linked to al-Qaeda have set up training camps to teach children how to conduct suicide attacks, the Pakistani military said yesterday.
The army said it had overrun one such camp in territory where Baitullah Mehsud, the notorious Pakistani Taliban commander, operates. Terrorists had transformed a government-run school near the village of Spinkai in South Waziristan into what one officer described as a “nursery for preparing suicide bombers.”
The school was part of a large compound above the village that included a small mosque.
Major-General Tariq Khan, the commander of the division that captured the area, said: “It was like a factory that had been recruiting nine- to 12-year-old boys and turning them into suicide bombers.”

  13. Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook, Anti-Semitism among Palestinian Authority Academics
The Palestinian Authority’s academic anti-Semitism has built an extensive case against Jewish existence, which starts with denying the authenticity and legitimacy of both the Jewish nation and religion. Through libels, lies, and stereotyping, this endeavor in anti-Semitism portrays Jews as a genuine threat to humanity. Because Jews are inherently evil and an existential danger, their annihilation is justified self-defense, a service to humanity, and an enactment of God’s will.
Although the PA is not reticent about its anti-Semitic ideology and plans, the world remains mostly apathetic except for an occasional criticism of what is called “incitement.” Indeed, the world finds this ideology so repugnant that many simply choose to deny the existence of PA anti-Semitism and repackage it as anti-Zionism, an ideology they find more palatable and even legitimate…

What’s built in the States, stays in the States. At least that is how it used to be with one of the world’s largest automaker. (The one exception is the Toyota Avalon sedan — exported to the Middle East last year.)
Toyota has now announced that it will ramp up U.S. vehicle production in Indiana and begin exporting vehicles to other booming markets around the world.

  17. BERLIN (Reuters) – Police investigating the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old German girl of Afghan origin are searching for her brother on suspicion he carried what media believe may have been an “honor killing”.
Police said on Friday they were conducting an all-out search for the victim’s 23-year-old brother, whom they “strongly suspected” was responsible for the attack in a park in a central area of Hamburg on Thursday night.

BALLA, India (Reuters) – Five armed men burst into the small room and courtyard at dawn, just as 21-year-old, 22-week pregnant, Sunita was drying her face on a towel.
They punched and kicked her stomach as she called out for her sleeping boyfriend “Jassa”, 22-year-old Jasbir Singh, witnesses said. When he woke, both were dragged into waiting cars, driven away and strangled.
Their bodies, half-stripped, were laid out on the dirt outside Sunita’s father’s house for all to see, a sign that the family’s “honor” had been restored by her cold-blooded murder.
