They have linked this story to the anniversary of the Enoch Powell “Rivers of blood” speech. Since he made the speech no one has dared mention immigration without being accused of racism. In my view Powell has been proved correct if somewhat premature. It is hard to underestimate the damage that ZaNuLabour have inflicted on Britain these past ten years with the open borders immigration policy.
East Europeans (mostly Poles) are getting the blame but actually as pointed out above the real elephant in the room is the muslim influx from Pakistan and Bangladesh, not to mention the tens of thousands of bogus asylum seekers from Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Afghanistan etc. There are problems with some East Europeans but these tend to be Albanian gangsters (again followers of the “religion of peace”) and Roma people from Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania. If you have a welfare system that pays people hundreds of pounds a month to be indolent with no strings attached it is hardly surprising that it attracts undesirables from Europe. Mark my words this will end in tears.
It is a system focused on
1)an immigration policy allowing entire extended families to come to the country rather than people with educated skills,
2)plus a welfare system that pays people from third world countries to be non-contributers to the economy and
3)the system of multiculturalism that pays them to remain unintegrated, uninvolved in the new country and clinging to their old, outdated modes of belief and behaviour.
We have the same system in Canada.
Britain is a boiling couldron of social balkanization.
The government knows it too. Their latest security directives are almost entirely focused at crowd control and putting down what they term “flash mobs” of angered citizens agitated by cultural frictions, shortages of food, goods and energy, and the need for the police to become more paramilitary in response.
The UK is a social basket case and Fabian socialism is the root cause.
Immigration policies that have as their prime objective importation of votes rather than importation of wealth-creators will inevitably result in this kind of dysfunctional mosaic.
Anyone who runs a successful business knows that difficult decisions have to be made. Pragmatic immigration policies fall into this category, if you think of the country as a business.
If you don’t think of the country as a business, then we end up with the absurdity of everyone being entitled to have a fire in the wood stoves of their retirement homes, with nobody to chop the wood. But heh, global warming will solve that anyway.
A story in one of the U.K. newspapers today tells the story of Down’s Syndrome boy charged with being racist after a spat with an Asian girl in the yard of a special school. The girl’s parents laid the complaint and the parents of the boy had to go through hell for seven months.
As more and more of these stories are told, bitterness and resentment are sure to follow and no one can have a solution for this kind of insanity. It reminds me how often as a last resort we say over a seriously ill loved one: “The only thing we can do is pray.” Now is that time for the once upon a time Great Britain.

Canada too accommodating to minorities, poll says
OTTAWA (AFP) – Most Canadians believe their country is too accommodating when it comes to the country’s “visible minorities,” according to a survey released Thursday.
The Strategic Counsel poll for The Globe and Mail and CTV, found that a hefty 61 percent of those asked thought Canada does too much for members of the visible or non-white minorities.

During the war, some individuals threw rocks at our windows and even punched my sisters lights out because we had a german ancestry. Then after the war we were called DP’s So I have a small hint of what it’s like to be singled out.
I’m a believer that it doesn’t matter what colour or race a person is.
What I do find unacceptable is the Trudeau version of “one doesn’t have to accept Canada’s culture”. We need to have a strong open discussion about the cultural norms and standards of behaviour in Canada. What should the standards for everyone be and how do we the citizens of Canada nd not the HRC’s determine them.
We also need to use the “not withstanding clause”
to end the use of our systems, qausi-judicial and judicial to keep undesirable people out of Canada.
While I know what it feels like to be treated badly because of ones race, I don’t accept tearing
our country to pieces to please some and not all Canadians is somehow a wonderful experiment.
Let us not follow England over the cliff like lemmings

Here’s the problem plaguing most of the EU, people don’t have decent election choices. The parties are all left-of-center no matter what name they give themselves. Britain’s present Tories aren’t Thatcher fiscal/social conservatives. They are only a lesser degree of spinelessness than Labour.
No one has the guts to do the right thing in Europe. Look at the time and opportunity that Sarkozy, another lame lesser degree socialist, has piddled away. Ditto Germany.
I wish the Brits well. Any article of substance in the Daily Mail and other papers permitting feedback anymore has a groundswell of angry people. They need to find another Churchill, and soon.
