  1. The main thing that’s conveniently overlooked by the leftist bleeding hearts on Khadr and his terrorist family, is treason. What about treason? Not too long ago he would’ve been rightfully shot.
Deport the whole bunch of them.

  2. Khadr’s defense team is now using the 9/11 approach. They are claiming that the Americans threw the grenade that killed themselves. Unfortunately there will be many that will say it makes perfect sense.

It’s been about four decades since football surpassed baseball as America’s most popular spectator sport, and some people still haven’t gotten over it. We’ve all heard George Will (a loyal Redskins fan, by the way) make his oft-recycled crack that “football consists primarily of two regrettable elements of life — violence, punctuated by committee meetings.” Back in the 1970s, George Carlin did a routine comparing peaceful baseball with militaristic football (“In football, during the game in the stands, you can be sure that at least 27 times you were perfectly capable of taking the life of a fellow human being.”) And the 1980s saw a rash of articles and books praising the timeless purity of baseball as a sacred link with America’s collective pastoral origin myth.
This is not one of those articles. Instead, it’s about how baseball is the professional sport that best embodies conservative principles. The reasons have nothing to do with the game itself” …-

Let us hope that the GG sees the clear correlation between AGW hystria and the food shortages emerging around the world, including in Haiti. I am sure AGW is not the only cause, but I do think it is a factor because of biofuels and that as costs for transportation increase (with things like the BC fuel tax) — food costs will continue to rise. How strange that AGW “promoters” apparently are oblivious to the fact that in a “global” world, rising costs will create a domino effect and this will have a particularly heinous impact on poorer countries. But, of course, we will be saving the planet for whoever will be around to enjoy it in 2100.

  7. RCMP must provide services in both official languages in N.B.
She was caught speeding, and the RCMP officer only spoke English, though the ticket was in French. Essentially, the unanimous ruling says she had the right to be served in French, because it’s a bilingual province, and the Supreme Court agreed, awarding her $135,000 in costs for her legal defence.
I saw her news conference on CBC, where she said, in fluent English, how pleased she was with the decision, and, in perfect English, reiterated her right to be served in French.
