Amazing work. At first it was just interesting, then the chanting started and it got scary.
This is frightening stuff. Americans should be careful that they don’t get all of the Government they pay for.
The stuff of Dr Goebbels
Good sideshow Kate!!
And yes to quote Lenin we will use the term ” Useful Fools ”
_All_ chanting is scary
What’s that sound….could it be….yep, Kinsella’s head just exploded again!
Kate, you little stinker!
Well Done!!!
The far left fascists verses the far right fascists. Can you tell the difference?
What does it matter, either one wants our subjugation and obedience!
Left and right fascism?
Fascism is a very leftist phenomenon.
Right wing fascism is a term invented by leftists to distract the masses from their culpability in giving birth to that scourge…
LOL!
I think I really don’t like chanting no matter who the candidate is/was. It just seems so undignified (not on the part of the candidate, but the supporters).
Here’s one to grow on – when they had the Republican convention here in NY in ’04, whole chunks of midtown were paralyzed by the security, protesters etc. The protesters were all of the lefty variety, yet all my liberal friends and colleagues blamed the Republicans for bringing this disruption to NYC, yet without the protesting rabble, it would have been just another convention and some extra limos – and NYC can handle that without a breaking a sweat.
This year we are likely to see the same protesters at BOTH conventions. The lefties will protest the Republican convention because Republicans are evil and mean and like to drink the blood of infants (umm yummy). They will protest the Dem convention because the Dems are, in the view of those that animate the rabble, insufficiently leftist and neither candidate is promising to outright surrender to the Jihadis on Day One of their presidency.
This in a nutshell, is why I am a conservative – I don’t agree with the Dems, I am certainly to the right of John McCain on many issues, but I could not imagine rioting in front of one or another of the conventions to get my point across – now maybe that’s because I actually have a job and a life, and am not a smelly hippie, but I like to think it is because I also have some faith in the political process, and I am mature enough to know that just because it doesn’t deliver the result that I want, it does not mean that the process is broken.
I see there was some of the Obama Youth there!
As I have said on these pages several times before, it is not hard to see how the Hitlers of the world come to power. Hitlers/JimJones/Obamas, all built on the same people, weak people, they have to follow, they can’t lead or think for themselves. The first two did themselves in, what about the third? Who cares?
“Right, I’m a bigot, I know. But for the Left.”

Wow. I reached a similar conclusion late last night watching a rebuttal video, but I was too lazy to look for actual footage.
Does Godwin’s Law apply here?
Al, I think there was, Green Shirts.
Hey, Leni Reifestahl was the architect of all modern political theater. Obama’s modeling his campaign on one of the most brilliant propaganda films ever made. Hell, maybe THE most brilliant.
I’m not sure I like what that says about modern politics. Or Obama.
Who cares what a bunch of degenerate, narcissistic fools think anyhow?
Unfortunately, Oprahma knows the powere of music, image and yes, mindless chanting!
Truly scary!

I love smalldeadanimals because I can be rest assured that Kate will go no more than three days without making another absurd comparison of a current event to that of Nazi Germany. It’s heavily insulting to all that suffered at the helm of Hitler. If only I could invest with such certainty. I would be rich!
Populism is populism, and the propoganda used to build is similar. As The Phantom said, I think it says more about how long a shadow Leni Reifestahl casts.
I think it is a stretch to the point of breaking to make a serious comparison between the individuals. However it is a humorous juxtaposition.
The one to be afraid of is Hillary. But if Billary plays it as expected she will bring the temple down around her and make McCain president.
Its a long time to election day and much can happen.
Steve – think for a moment…I do realize that this may be painful, but please try, ’cause it’s important.
“We are the ones(we have been waiting for)” is either a blatantly manipulative piece of emotionally coercive propaganda exploited by an egotistically hypocritical man for the glorification of himself in the acquisition of political power, or…
…he really does think this way.
Absurd comparison? Clearly, you have not considered the historical parallels.
Obama is probably about as dangerous to America as Hitler was to Germany, but I don’t think he’s as dangerous to our allies as Hitler was to Germany’s allies.
Certainly, it is an effective demonstration of the dangers of blindly following a leader, without individually studying what he is and actually stands for and the merits of such issues, as many Obamah supporters freely admit.
As scary as Obama seems, I’ve been spending a great deal of time in Chicago lately with my relatives who are, surprise, dyed in the wool Chicago Democrats.
Guess what folks, even they are scared of Obama. Don’t forget, Black America is only about 12-13% of total population, despite media portrayal.
“We are the ones that we have been waiting for.”

Glory to the newborn king!”
He’s a politician! He’s a savior! He’s cosmic!
He’s a brother!
He’s being fairly effective at identifying himself with a universal. As in The Hobbitt when they say things like “His cloak was of purple,” or “His tunis was of crimson.”
See, it’s like the dude isn’t just wearing crimson. His nature is in identification with the universal crimson.
(I’m derivative of the House of Orange.)
So he’s trying to cause there to be an association between a deep universal factor in the human mind, particularly the Western mind, so that the dumber among us see these universal, god-like qualities in him.
Actually, he’s just a fairly dumb brother working an angle bigger than he is… incidentally, I think Justin Trudeau should run as his vice president.
I thought I saw Hollywood and some dreamer entertainers expressing their wishes for a war free world.
It*s a free country. Too many are too young to understand the price of earning and holding onto the freedom that allows them to chant their songs for Obama.
Politically correct allowance for some Sharia law could be a good lesson but regaining lost freedoms afterward could be messy. = TG

Is he friends with Rudy?
This is all in keeping with Hitler’s own conception of mass psychology as given in MEIN KAMPF where he says:
“The psyche of the broad masses does not respond to anything weak or half-way. Like a woman, whose spiritual sensitiveness is determined less by abstract reason than by an indefinable emotional longing for fulfilling power and who, for that reason, prefers to submit to the strong rather than the weakling – the mass, too, prefers the ruler to a pleader.”

I call Godwin. Sure, Obama supporters are doing the whole cult-of-personality thing, but then so were the Ron Paul supporters.
Yes, Obama (or any Democrat at this point) would be a disaster for America. However, America tends to be self-correcting in many ways. Perhaps we should hope for Obama to win, because after his presidency the Republicans would be in power for a very, very long time.
Careful, Kate,
you’re coming close to ‘jumping the shark’ on this one.
Yes, the Obama videos are creepy, the messianic-cult-worship is scary, the content is as shallow as it can get. Just let it run it’s course without pointing out the obvious. You should know by now that comparisons to Hitler will get you nothing but grief. Better to compare Obama-mania to Trudeau-mania.
Don’t forget the culture we live in is fickle and one of chronic ADHD. By November Obama will definitely be exposed for what he is – all sizzle and no steak.
Ed Minchau,
you’ve got some good points, but you have to remember that Ron Paul is a 10-term US Congressman from Texas. He once ran for president on the Libertarian ticket.
He is enormously well known in Libertarian circles and where Libertarian and Republican circles meet. His economic policies and political philosophy have been outlined for many decades.
So all he had to do was run on his message. (Incidentally, although he dropped out of the race, he handily won the primary for his Congressional seat again and will still be a Congressman.)
Obama has virtually risen out of nothing. He won an election for senator in Illinois by a fluke. The Republican Party had a scandal, their candidate was tainted, and the party dragged in Alan Keyes, a black motivational speaker from another state, to run against Obama.
Obama is an integral part of the Democratic machine in Illinois and basically won the election on this confluence of irregular events.
And the thing is that Obama’s team is doing everything in their power to manipulate mass psychology from the top. Ron Paul in a sense was simply running on his record and political philosphy. Obama is running on however successful they can be at manipulating Democratic voters.
This is why a lot of Texans intentionally jumped into the Democratic primary to vote for Hillary. The thinking is that half the American people already dislike her. And because Republicans are reluctant to speak frankly about a black candidate as they would be charged with racism, we now will have the continuation of Bill and Hillary attacking Obama, which hopefully will lead to both of them being disparaged by the time of the general election.
I’ve decided that I really can support Barack Obama. He’s the candidate I’ve been looking for since he’s going to end fear. All we have to do is elect Obama and we never need to be afraid again.
Maybe I’m incredibly thick … but … how hard is it to tell a drufus exactly what he/she wants to hear? In my generation we called them marks.
