  2. On the drive home this evening, my Wife and I noticed there were more Christmas decorations on neighborhood homes and more homes decorated than ever before. I think we are seeing a backlash against the Grinch Who Tried To Steal Christmas.
    I am decorating our home feverishly with every conceivable PC incorrect decoration I can find. Christmas Star (Star of David), Manger scene, Angels, Santa, Candles, wreathes, etc.; all in lights. No snowman, no candy canes, ; none of the really non Christmas PC winter holiday crap that’s allowed in PC shopping malls.
    I say Merry Christmas to every one I meet and chuckle at the response I get from store clerks.
    Some of the most enthusiastic responses come from the recent immigrants that the anti-Christmas doorknobs are trying to hang with the blame for the “too much Christmas” complaints.
    What I would really like is a large lapel button that says: “if you Can’t say Merry Christmas, I can’t shop here”.

    A group of Cubans who arrived in Venezuela from Cuba on Saturday December 15, received an unfriendly welcome at Maiquetía airport in Caracas.
    Hundreds of Venezuelans at the airport received the Cubans, who were wearing t-shirts with the face of the criminal mass murderer che Guevara, with loud boos and yells of “fuera” (get out).
    Venezuela’s official media and pro-Chavez groups who were at the airport to welcome the Cubans, never expected such a strong reaction from regular Venezuelans who were at the airport waiting for relatives and friends. Some of the Cubans looked around not knowing what to do. …-

  11. A wonderful tale about our youth of today:
    Friends of ours were shopping in Walmart and were at the till waiting to cash out. A group of five youth around the ages of 15-16 were waiting for one of their buddies to go through the till when one of the boys dropped his pants and stuck his a$$ out and emitted a large fart. Of course all those around him were shocked beyond belief!The boys all laughed uproarously thinking this was a very funny thing and off they went to the McDonalds to load up on more fart inducing crap. Our friend was not letting this go by without something being said so confronted the boy and told him that he must come from a very upstanding family. That he would like to meet his parents as they must be something else. Well of course the boys just all laughed harder as they know that nothing can be done about thier behavior or the cops will be called. It would have been our friend who would have been charged not the boy who did the deed. Is this what this generation is raising for children? God help our country!

    But after 12 exhausting days of trying to reach a worldwide agreement on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, it was suddenly all too much for Yvo de Boer.
    As the 200-nation Bali conference wrangled over a minor procedural matter, the Dutch diplomat in charge of the talks burst into tears and had to be led away by colleagues.
    Moments earlier, Mr de Boer had been warning delegates that failure to reach an agreement on global warming could “plunge the world into conflict”.
    Officials from China, which feels Western countries should do more to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, accused UN negotiators of ignoring conference protocol.
    Mr de Boer, distinctively dressed in a floral shirt, stepped up to the microphone to defend his staff – only to find that the words would no longer come.
    As his unfinished sentences trailed away, he broke down and walked off the platform to supportive applause.

    Anyway, just to be a bit fair and actually put forth something resembling an intellectual argument here, the reason this guy is such a pink tutu wearing queerboy is because the man-made global warming myth he so fanatically clings to has not been proven to be true. The jury is still out on it. Many scientists say that multiple factors could be at play, including the sun, and normal fluctuations in temperature.

  20. That’s an incredible column by David Warren against the HRC, and in defence of freedom of speech.
    I think we have to, in the blogs, continue to emphasize and highlight this fight-for-freedom. The HR Act and the HRC appointees are an unaccountable, insidious glue that will smother the basic foundation of a democratic and free society – the right to debate, dissent, hold different opinions.
    The HRC tribunal, in their role as the Inquisitors and upholders of the Doctrine of The Supreme Power of Identity Politics have no place in a democracy. They can operate in a medieval inquisition, they can operate in totalitarian dictatorships of the Third Reich, of Stalin’s Soviet, but their existence in Canada is a disgrace and a denial of our Charter Rights.

    Writing at FrontPage Magazine, Janet Levy reviews Lee Harris’s The Suicide of Reason: Radical Islam’s Threat to the West. Guess what family of words does not appear once in Levy’s 1,932 word article? Immigration, immigrants, immigrant. She writes: “In summary, the West is suffering from an insidious ideological assault from the outside by fundamentalist Islam that could result in profound societal damage, while at the same time we are, from the inside, undermining our core values and traditions.” It doesn’t occur to Levy that Islam could not have had the slightest effect on our societies if we had not admitted millions of Muslim immigrant into our societies, and that the only way to end Islam’s assault on the West is to stop and reverse the Muslim immigration into the West.
    And guess what? I’ll bet that in Lee Harris’s 290 page book warning us about “radical Islam’s threat to the West,” the “I” word isn’t mentioned either.

    However, Non-Government investigations are being conducted into ‘neighbourhood’ mosques, including the Mapping Shariah project:

    During the conversation, Estes had his assistants go inside the mosque and obtain Islamic materials for Dir. Gaubatz. At 42:43 minutes into the site visit, Estes placed a compact disc inside Dir. Gaubatz’s jacket pocket. At 52:51 minutes into the site visit, Estes asked Gaubatz if he was ready to convert (or “revert” insofar as Estes preaches everyone was originally a Muslim) and to do so by repeating after him the expression of faith required by Islamic law to become a Muslim. Dir. Gaubatz completed the pseudo conversion to Islam.
    Dir. Gaubatz subsequently left Dar al-Hijrah and reviewed the compact disk Estes had placed inside his pocket. On the disk was a cover letter stating:
    “We encourage you to review this CD carefully. Every Muslim must have a copy of this valuable CD”. Further review of this disk revealed a 17-page manual in English, entitled The Book of Jihad, Chapter 234, “Obligation of Jihad”. The manual includes passages from the Qur’an, the Sunna (consisting of Ahadith [pl. of Hadith], which are the authoritative teachings and actions of Mohammed, and which are used along with verses from the Qur’an as the basis of Shari’a and commentary.
    So what we have here is a Jihadist actively recruiting people to jihad and the over throw of the U.S. as a constitutional republic.

    AMID talk of offsetting the hefty carbon footprint of the United Nations climate conference in Bali, organisers missed a large elephant in the room.
    The air-conditioning system installed to keep more than 10,000 delegates cool used highly damaging refrigerant gases – as lethal to the atmosphere as 48,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide, and nearly the equivalent of the emissions of all aircraft used to fly delegates to Indonesia.
    With hawk-eyed representatives of more than 100 green organisations present, it was probably the worst place in the world to commit an environmental faux pas.
    Staff from Australia’s Natural Refrigerants Transition Board and the London- and Washington-based Environmental Investigation Agency noticed the stockpiled cylinders of hydrochlorofluorocarbons – a refrigerant likely to be phased out over the next few years because it devours ozone in the upper atmosphere.
    In addition, the refrigerant is a potent greenhouse gas, with each kilogram at least as damaging as 1.7 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
    Investigators at the Balinese resort complex at Nusa Dua counted 700 cylinders of the gas, each of them weighing 13.5 kilograms, and the system was visibly leaking.
    The air-conditioning system, which used two kilometres of plasplastic pipe, serviced the European pavilion, the UN Secretariat offices, the media centre and other temporary areas. …-
