One of the first established bloggers to begin sending traffic my way was Pieter Dorsman of Peaktalk. It’s my turn to return the favour for the new group blog he’s helped to establish – Poligazette.
On the same vein, I received a note a few days ago about another site (which while not a blog) which may be of interest to readers here – the Natural Resources Stewardship Project – “NRSP takes on bias and misrepresentation in the climate debate.” An initiative of Timothy Ball and Tom Harris, check out the news release here with more.
(If you have other new sites you’d like to recommend, comments are open for your links.)

I would like to recommend a blog of my own to the curious: a documentation of the number of American coins in Canadian change rolls.

I went through the initial batches between late September and mid-October. Despite the state of near-parity at that time, I found the ratios to be surprisingly low…
I’ve heard of niche blogs, but holy crap… LOL
Dr. Tim Ball has an enormous amount of credibility on many topics. The Hudson Bay Company, the earth’s weather and our continually changing climate are among them.
And then there is this, from the CBC’s own web site:
[Journalistic Standards and Practices
III. PRINCIPLES
3. CREDIBILITY
In an open society, credibility is an essential attribute of a journalistic organization. The credibility of the organization and that of its journalists are interdependent, flowing one from the other.
Credibility is dependent not only on qualities such as accuracy and fairness in reporting and presentation, but also upon avoidance by both the organization and its journalists of associations or contacts which could reasonably give rise to perceptions of partiality. Any situation which could cause reasonable apprehension that a journalist or the organization is biased or under the influence of any pressure group, whether ideological, political, financial, social or cultural, must be avoided.
The CBC occupies a unique position of trust. Not only is it the most substantial and broadly-based broadcast journalism organization in Canada, it is funded, through Parliament, by the people of Canada. The CBC therefore considers it a duty to provide consistent, high-quality information upon which all citizens may rely.]
hmmmm ? Do you think there is a case for a lawyer here ??
@Kate:
Well, it might gain a readership without me having to put the Amero brand of tin-foil hat on.
The National Post podcast. A must listen.
Unfortunately you must listen to it on their site as they don’t have the tech savvy to put it on iTunes.
But good nonetheless.

Thanks for the NRSP link Kate…this is a great site …I hope the information base expands there.
I like Joel Johannesen’s proudtobecanadian.ca
He is a conservative with bite, kind of like a Canadian male version of Ann Coulter, here is an example ( emphasis mine );
” Let me restate the obvious: (a) you actually get dumber with every second that you watch the CBC (I’m inoculated because I subscribe to Fox News Channel and I have a brain); and (b) state-run and state-owned media should be banned in this country (and in Venezuela), and that notion enshrined in our constitution. ”
I agree with that! and with a lot of what I find at Joel’s site.
http://greenspirit.com/home.cfm
A site that is a virtual time-line of the environmental movement — direct from the co-founder of Greenpeace.
Our Canadian media ignores this great Canadian environmentalist —- what are they afraid of ?
“There are at least as many positive trends in the world as there are negative ones. We are no more headed for doomsday than we are for nirvana ”

Only spent a couple minutes there but so far I like it.

This press release is dated November 26, 2007.
That’s a whole week and I do not recall seeing or hearing anything in the MSM about that.
Not fitting the agenda!
I would like to recommend RealJustice.ca which is a public website/forum dedicated to presenting and exploring various ideas and issues related to criminal justice and policing in Canada
The CLINTON CHRONICLES…
http://tinyurl.com/2es7ke
An excerpt where the main story originated here below the picture of the White shirted kneeling with the two officers under the RED PRINTED “WEIRDO” and scroll down to the below and click on the “here” and “here” links, the first one is the Clinton Chronicles!
http://www.anomalicresearch.com/
Quote from the article…
Firstly this man and his health issues have little or nothing to do with alternative research and the fact that the Clintons have a long history of criminal activity which you can find out quickly about (here) and (here) – but that is NOT what the public will be told.END:
