There’s still time.

Yep, that’d be a beauty. Better yet would be an Iranian rescue mission led by Jimmy Cawtah. They could crash a bunch of helicopters in the Imperial sand dunes.
Imadinnerjacket is also speaking at Columbia.
However which way the west prefers to deal with these Islamofreaks today, if we would consult history instead, we might save ourselves a lot of aggravation and relegate them to their proper place of ridicule and defeat once again:
Back in 1667, the Zaporozhian Cossacks defeated a Turkish army that had been sent in to the south of Russia. In spite of his defeat, the Turkish Sultan, Mehmed IV, sent a letter to the Cossacks, demanding their surrender.
The letter went like this:
As the Sultan; son of Muhammad; brother of the Sun and Moon; grandson and viceroy of God; ruler of the kingdoms of Macedonia, Babylon, Jerusalem, Upper and Lower Egypt; emperor of emperors; sovereign of sovereigns; extraordinary knight, never defeated; steadfast guardian of the tomb of Jesus Christ; trustee chosen by God himself; the hope and comfort of Muslims; confounder and great defender of Christians—I command you, the Zaporozhian Cossacks, to submit to me voluntarily and without any resistance, and to desist from troubling me with your attacks.
A reply was written:
Zaporozhian Cossacks to the Turkish Sultan!
O sultan, turkish devil and damned devil’s kith and kin, secretary to Lucifer himself. What the devil kind of knight are you, that can’t slay a hedgehog with his naked arse? The devil shits, and your army eats. You will not, you son of a bitch, make subjects of Christian sons; we’ve no fear of your army, by land and by sea we will battle with thee, f@$k your mother.
You Babylonian scullion, Macedonian wheelwright, brewer of Jerusalem, goat-f@$ker of Alexandria, swineherd of Greater and Lesser Egypt, Armenian pig, Podolian thief, catamite of Tartary, hangman of Kamyanets, and fool of all the world and underworld, an idiot before God, grandson of the Serpent, and the crick in our dick. Pig’s snout, mare’s arse, slaughterhouse cur, unchristened brow, screw your own mother!
So the Zaporozhians declare, you lowlife. You won’t even be herding Christian pigs. Now we’ll conclude, for we don’t know the date and don’t own a calendar; the moon’s in the sky, the year with the Lord, the day’s the same over here as it is over there; for this kiss our arse!

Ouch! The moral of the story is that cartoons and ridicule are proven lethal weapons against pompous Islamofascists.
Unbridled pomposity of the muslim mind, as noted above.
Iran: Ahmadinejad is ‘Socrates of third millenium’, says president’s office.
Tehran, 20 Sept. (AKI) – A research centre run by the office of the president of Iran has released a 15-page document in which they define President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as the “Socrates of the Third Millenium”.
The document has been released just days before Ahmadinejad is due to visit New York. The Iranian president will arrive in the city on Sunday to address the United Nations General Assembly.
In the document, various speeches and letters written by the Iranian president are analysed and it concludes that “Ahmadinejad reasons and discusses exactly as Socrates did in ancient Greece, by disarming other speakers and through his sharp reasoning.”
“It’s mainly the irony used by the president in his dialogue with foreigners,” said the document refering to letters Ahmadinejad had written to Pope Benedict XVI, US president George Bush and German president Angela Merkel.
I’d like to do some “Sharp Reasoning” with the little prick.
I’d also like to introduce him to the FDNY and NYPD membership…
Irwin:
It is always a little suspect to blow your own trumpet.
If indeed Dr. Ahmadinejad is the “Socrates of the Third Millenium” this would be best left to the judgement of historians of the third millenium.
Seeing as the third millenium has recently begun, I believe we still have 993 years to go before it ends. Then again, who is counting?
It is likely that neither Dr. Ahmadinejad, nor anyone else from this generation, will be around to verify this judgement, perhaps we should describe this as a rather ‘hasty conclusion’.

He should be forced to wear a burka and stoned to death by a bunch of chanting medieval nutters.
too bad we’ve lost the abilty and desire to kill evil people.
A the “master calculator” comes to New York.
Why do I see the opening credits to “That Girl” when I think about him in New York for the first time. All wide eyed and innocent

Maybe he’ll do a Mary Tyler Moore and fling his hat in the air on Broadway.
Then get his narrow ass ran over by a gypsy cab!
Pass the hemlock
“Ahmadinejad would be captured by American “students” and held hostage for over a year, paraded before TV cameras and threatened almost daily with death.”
Beautiful.
Steve Janke’s site has been haxed.
His ability to go visit New York underlines the civil war within the administration. This is the State Department in action. Iran has been at war with the US since 1979 and Ahmadinejad has been the most pernicious of all. He should not be allowed to enter the US. Period. The US cannot be considered unified in any serious way in its defensive war against islamofascism allowing this monster to mock it. The islamists, worldwide, must be hugely enjoying the demonstration of US weakness/softness. And Columbia University — with its off-again on-again decision to allow him to speak — should be ashamed.
What’s wrong with Bush. Surely he could stop the poison dwarf’s noxious performance.
Hopefully the air war against Iran does not start until that idiot is back home. Would hate if if the joos missed the chance to kill that dipshit.
This is a splendid opportunity for Jack Layton to meet with the Aman and perhaps together they can convince Bush to give peace a chance. I suggest Jack take Tom Walkom with him since Walkom has such a great handle on the great benefits of negotiating.
Once they have their agreement in place I would be happy to reduce it to writing (for a fee)
OTOH, in an ideal world Ahmadinejad narrowly defeats Rodham Clinton for the Democratic nomination and Americans can then decide for once and for all whether America intends to fight Islamofascism or surrender to it.
the UN headquarters in New York City of all places. the UN people are painfully and obviously not on our side, yet the UN welcomes our foes open armed, into our cities and we pay for protecting them. That’s pure unadulterated bullshit. Move the HQ elsewhere…
I wonder if the students captured Abinanutjob would they want professor Stuffy deYawn to seek a prompt trial for them?
So Mahmood wants to see Ground Zero, does he?!?
OK then. We should oblige him by giving him his own ground zero, say right in Tehran, in and around his offices. That way, he doesn’t have to bother coming to NYC.
You’re welcome Mahmood.
A beheading would also bring the liberal MSM around to the student’s plight.
“The islamists, worldwide, must be hugely enjoying the demonstration of US weakness/softness”
Actually, this could have an interesting side effect. Natan Sharansky wrote about his impressions of the West when he was an indoctrinated student in communist Russia (in the ’50s). The USSR students were being fed all this BS about how miserable people were in the US and the West, and how oppressed and unfree they were in the capitalist system. As proof the students got to read papers printed by lefty commy sympathizers in the West, bemoaning their horrible countries. What Sharansky, and any thinking Communist student, thought instead was, “Those countries must be incredibly free and great to live in if such freedom of thought and expression is granted to even those who hate the system.”
What I’m wondering is: What effect will seeing their leader parade safely and happily around in the Great Satan have on young and smart Iranians? Won’t they have to conclude that the West is a great place when it allows even one of its biggest haters/detractors/enemies to stroll around its streets in perfect safety? Even invites him to speak at a university?
The contrast between how Iran treats any foreigner it even suspects of thinking something against the state couldn’t be greater (think of that Canadian lady journalist tortured and killed in an Iranian prison.). Somehow the point has to come home to some of them . . .
You make some valid points Ann insofar as a logical, compassionate, modern, thinking society goes. The question I have for you though, is how far should the civilized world go in ‘turning the other cheek’ so to speak? Surely at some point isn’t it time to say ‘enough is enough’ and give these deluded, stone-age, megalomaniacs the treatment they deserve? I am sure that the younger, more enlightened citizens of their society would understand a tougher stand on our part towards their extremist elements.
If only that bastion of free speech (Columbia U.) would give say, the Minutemen or Ann Coulter the same respect and tolerance as they will no doubt give Ahmadinejad I would feel a little better.
I witnessed a friend of mine assaulted after offering an alternative worldview (from the “sanctity” of Speakers Corner at the University of Calgary circa 1969) from that of the Black Panthers. The same mob of students who had just given a standing ovation to Marxists advocating violent revolution cheered on the assault.
Toxic political correctness is not a new phenomenon on college campuses. It is perpetuated by that same generation of mob-cheerleaders now tenured members of the professoriate.
