  5. So what I see in the cartoon is someone saying Islam SHOULD have human rights(the dog bit I think is just the vehicle the cartoonist used to get his message out-the wrong way maybe but hey, all artists are flakey right?)
    So, are they mad about the picture of their God, or about the message, that many in Islam don’t give a rat’s a– over my human rights because of my Christian values? Or that of my wife, and kids, and their friends and almost eveybody else in Canada.
    No, its gotta be the picture, nothing more.

  9. Perhaps Swedish Artist Lars Vilks drawing is just
    a “Roschark” test for jihadists.
    As for me, my first impression of the image was Chiron the Centaur – half horse, half man.
    The face reminds me of Red Green, or even Bin Laden, or as Buglady says, VanGogh while the tail is definitely greyhound-ish.
    The bernoose (?) on the other hand has the regal folds worthy of a prophet and the body bearing a sign of ‘good news’, to a red light district of infidels.
    Radical Islamists might even see a prophet and proceed get pissed off.

    One ambassador was quoted as saying it was a chance for Sweden to “appease.” Not joking. The word appease appeared in quotes.

  21. We in the west need to mock Mohammed. His writings are that of a raving lunatic, the consequences of which have caused so much grief for humanity inside and outside of Islam. Like the Furher’s little mustache and that NK freak’s hair, Mohammed is fair game to be ridiculed. His biography is just as dysfunctional. Islam, as a pathological politicized religion, needs to have a mirror held up to it.

  22. I worry about England, the Muslim population there is growing and will demand their laws be entrenched.
    It’s such a small geographic area, it will be in for some huge struggles. I’m sure Sir Winston Churchill would not be amused.
    We in Canada have successfully built this Country on Judeo Christain tenets and our laws reflect them.
    There is no way people should come here and attempt to change our way of life and laws, it should not even be mentioned.
    Muslims who feel strongly about smothering themselves in their faith will never fit with our Western society successfully. They have the option to leave where they have what’s important to them, and all encompassing religion. One which is spawning the worst terrorism we’ve ever known in the history of this planet.
