When they say “cycle of violence”, it means Pallie attacking Jew.
When they say “senseless violence”, it means Pallie attacking Pallie.
“They are executing them one by one,” Amjad said in a telephone interview, declining to give his full name for fear of reprisals. “They are carrying one of them on their shoulders, putting him on a sand dune, turning him around and shooting.”
Fatah officials said Hamas shot and killed seven of its fighters outside the Preventive Security building. A doctor at Shifa Hospital, said he examined two bodies that had been shot in the head at close range. The officials and the doctor spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisals.
Militants and civilians were looting the compound, hauling out computers, documents, office equipment, furniture and TVs.
The moderate President Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah, for the first time in five days of fierce fighting, ordered his elite presidential guard to strike back. But his forces were crumbling fast under the onslaught by the better-armed and better-disciplined Islamic fighters.
Of course, that’s all just semantics – because it’s always the fault of the Jews anyhow.
More –Fox News – President Mahmoud Abbas will dissolve the Palestinian Authority’s government Thursday after fighting between rival parties Hamas and Fatah consumed the Gaza Strip and was expected to call for a state of emergency…

Kate, postscript on our chums at rabble.ca.
The Gaza situation has finally shown up over there:
1. It gets an odd, passing mention in an otherwise somnolence-inducing article by Rick Salutin. Does that guy have any meaningful thoughts to share with us – leftist, Marxist, Trotskyite, Kneedipper or otherwise? Anything at all? He’s smart though; imagine being paid to write nothing.
2. A link to the “Electronic Intifada” which blames it all on – wait for this big surprise – Bush and Israel. Here’s a quote from the intro to their item on Gaza:
“The dramatic rout of the US and Israeli-backed Palestinian militias in Gaza by forces loyal to Hamas represents a major setback to the Bush doctrine in Palestine.”
So, rabble.ca is now pro-Islamist and pro-Sharia – while simultaneously touting “womyn’s” rights.
Ah lefties, how do they deal with all these “contradictions inherent in the system”?
Louise Arbour. What an overrated useless tool.
