  7. I remember that picture,but at the time thought nothing more about it than there is a pic of Shiella Copps & she has shaved off her moustache.Second thought, maybe it was just an erotic dream with the prettiest liberal maidens of the time!

  11. Copps was actually good politician when she started out. When she jumped up on that table, that was cool, then it was down hill from there. When Crosby made that statement about tequila, instead of some kind of smart retort, she turned herself into a victim. She was in politics where others will say things she may not like, victims are popular in a segment of the population, though majority has not time for that kind of foolishness.
    MacDonald just did not have it. She is a decent character, though would have been better off as a liberal.
    Campbell insulted intelligence of most of the voters telling them they just don’t have the capacity to decide for themselves, in much the same vein as that knucklehead Reid. You probably would not vote for somebody that implies that you are just too bloody dumb to know.
    Stronach is a rich airhead that gives blonds bad name. She wanted to be the first woman prime minister so she tried to buy her way to leadership of conservatives. That did not work out. So what do you do? Well another party seems to be in turmoil maybe that will work. OK she changes parties, though you have to admit that Stronach sounded more like a liberal than a conservative when she ran for conservative leadership. What happens? Well it did not look like she would make it so she quit trying, after that there was really nothing left for her ambitions. As it is now, maybe, possibly she could make it as CEO of Chrysler if thing work that way, that’s up in the air somewhere and some of the air got into her head.

    It was all about OPPORTUNITY and it presented itself when the Conservatives were in a leadership battle.
    If it had been the Liberals she probably would have arranged to run for leadership there.
    Who in their right mind would think her foray into politics was for anything other than top job or nothing?
    She gave the Conservatives and Liberals her services, made little contribution in the grand scheme of things. The real top-off is saying she’s going back to the family business where Daddy really needs her and her children need her, blah,blah.
    Translated, ‘I didn’t get what I wanted so I’m going home’!

    Belinda has accomplished the same thing for Sheila Copps.
