Excellent. Naturally, the Conservatives will get nothing but criticism from environmentalists and the left-lib media, but this is exactly what they should be doing.
Whether you believe CO2 emissions are a threat to the Earth or not, surely Kyoto supporters in Canada should be embarassed about spending billions, making lofty speeches, and then having a worse record on CO2 emissions than the U.S.
So, let the critics seethe and wail. I’ll take effective measures to limit smog over useless sanctimoniousness any day.
But for those who are interested in following the science of Global Warming, I notice stories like this still get systematically underreported:
A team at the Danish National Space Center has discovered how cosmic rays from exploding stars can help to make clouds in the atmosphere. The results support the theory that cosmic rays influence Earth’s climate.

Interestingly, during the 20th Century, the Sun’s magnetic field which shields Earth from cosmic rays more than doubled, thereby reducing the average influx of cosmic rays.
The resulting reduction in cloudiness, especially of low-altitude clouds, may be a significant factor in the global warming Earth has undergone during the last century. However, until now, there has been no experimental evidence of how the causal mechanism linking cosmic rays and cloud formation may work.

Well, yes, it should, but almost certainly won’t. You can’t usefully demonize anyone by better understanding natural effects on the climate.

I’m a skeptic about the manner in which global warming has gone from hypothesis to accepts fact, religion even, but I am wholly skeptical of people who debunk this hypothesis out of hand.
Why?
Because why would all these people “cook the books?” What do they have to gain by it? Try to answer that one w/o sounding paranoid.
Hypothesis, to accepted fac,t to Religion. Your words. Good, agreement.
Why ?? Simply a way to enforce the UN’s ideas like One World Governance, The Earth Charter, UN Taxation, ect. All easily researched. MS has been openly promoting these within the UN ever since Rio. UN’s words, not mine.
A better question; Why would Dion, Martin, Suzuki, Gore follow a Religion like this ?? (your word)

Keep in mind that the global warming hypothesis has been with us since the 80s. I first heard about it (back then it was called “the greenhouse effect”) 22 years ago and it was hardly brand new then.
And Global Warming isn’t a fact, just an extremely well supported hypothesis. We probably won’t know with absolute certainty for at least a century or so.

Dennmark scientists claim, with a lot of credibility, that solar rays (sun’s and exploding stars) cause cycles in the Earth’s climate. Hence the 2 kilometer thick glaciers covering Canada 15000years ago. And then enought heat to melt them. For Media Distribution; “this was before the Industrial revolution”.
Thankfully we’re having sober second thoughts on the farce called “Kyoto Accord”.
The very idea of Canada engaging in crap shoot antics like sending money to polluters like China and Russia for air should have rang a bell if there was a clear head in the room.
Since the Liberals had no plan on the environment they latched onto it knowing damned well they would never meet such targets without shutting down the economy, thus they accomplished nothing,did the easy-out thing the Liberal way, just gifted thousands of our dollars for squat. Now the big hoot and holler continues from the do-nothings to obey Kyoto and fast! What fools.
Wonder if Noah was thinking about climate change when he was building the Ark? Guess not, he’d be thinking of a higher power.
