Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

New Award Challenges Artists to Enlighten the Public
WASHINGTON, DC – The Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) honored filmmaker Tom Hayes on Saturday, January 25th by establishing an annual award in his name. The Tom Hayes Award for Outstanding Contribution recognizes artistic efforts that increase awareness about the relationship between the United States and the Middle East.
Same group that tried to stop it but changed their minds when future grants from Ohio state weren’t gonna go to them if they refused to honour obligations made at the start of the project.
ET, if you think that the Liberals have become irrelevant and have left a vacuum and you like it, you may want to sleep with one eye open.
DrD, don’t you think that the NDP already pretty much solely occupy the left? The Liberals are certainly not the same and are approximately in the middle. That’s why they tend to win elections.
Speaking of ‘closer to the middle’, would people generally agree that the CPC appears to have no objection to the label “Tories”? How would they have felt about this the day after Harper took the helm? The CPC is well to the political right of the Tories as Canadians know them, placed essentially where the Reform or Alliance Party had (briefly) been. They have stood by very very quietly (gleefully I’m sure) while the media and others draped the label “Tories” over them, because Canadians who lean to the right (but maybe not too far) will find that pretty comfortable. I’m a little bewildered that there hasn’t been more dicussion of this. I think it is incredible, and certainly should be part of any healthy back-and-forth “the MSM are left-leaning Lib/Dipper types” argument. Are the media that lazy, or are they actually trying to help? Anyway, I hope that the CPC have the conviction to show their colours before the next election.
The North American Union Flag…It is the Flag for the region of global governance known as MEX-CAN-USA. This region was established by the signing of the Security and Prosperity Partnership Of North America at Baylor University on March 23, 2005 by George Bush, Vincente Fox and Paul Martin. There are no longer sovereign nation states, rather there is a single region of state corporate rule. The US Constitution is simply a relic of a by gone era. “Democratic Principles” of Security, Prosperity and Order now govern.
I didn’t vote for any of these guys. What gives them the right. I kinda liked Canada the way it sortive was going.
But now were just a company number.

I didn’t vote for this guy either.
Why didn’t the Media tell us about the joining of the countries?
Global Governance is the application of universal principles of democracy, order, security and prosperity. Global governance combines state power and corporate resources for rule over the people; it is this state corporatism that directs domestic and foreign policy.
Global Governance is initiated via democratic institutions such as meetings, summits, councils and working groups; these replace constitutional law and statute law.
There are some stunning yet reasonable conclusions about the announcement of the Competitiveness Council:
A. The announcement heralds the implementation of global governance — state corporate rule.
B. The name of the working group is Orwellian Doublespeak in as much as its true name should be something like Trade Tariff Reduction And Importation Facilitation Council.
C. The working group’s results will be NAFTA-Times-Two or said another way NAFTA-On-Steroids
D. Business leaders and not the Senate write trade legislation; this is in clear violation of the US Constitution.
The Trilateral Regulatory Cooperation Framework = The Executive Branch Of The Forth Coming N. American Government
The Cancun Leader’s Joint Statement is the document that calls for business executives and government employees to establish the “trilateral regulatory cooperation framework” – thus, the “executive branch of state corporate rule” is to be in place by 2007.

Graham sems not to be offering any leadership during the intrim.
He could authorize the separating out of the most notorious of Librano$ scammers and thus try to regain some small measure of respect for the LPC.
All I see is a greedy scramble for power and the LPC leadership.

It was an ordinary day…
On an ordinary day, a singular event transformed my life forever. June 23rd, 1985 was one such ordinary day. On this day, an Air India flight carrying 329 passengers, including my family, was blown out of the sky
…
Imagine that in the 1980s, Canadians believed in a false sense of security and immunity from terrorism and even this terrible stain on our national history did not wake us up to the alarming reality of homegrown terrorism. This first-ever act of aviation terrorism marked a cataclysmic moment in the history of Canada. In an event that is seared in the consciousness of this country, the unknown and terrifying face of terrorism revealed itself. Canada was yet to imagine, let alone experience, its vulnerability to an act of homegrown terrorism. In our naiveté, we as Canadians have lived, for far too long, with the false comfort that terrorism is an ill that affects peoples of distant lands, and that Canada is safe from its horror and destruction.
The Air India bombing was a Canadian tragedy, perpetrated by Canadians in Canada, killing over 180 Canadians. Even more unpardonable was the pervasive and apathetic view that, until the devastating attacks on New York’s World Trade Centers, the Pentagon and the United Airlines flight on September 11, 2001, the Air India bombing was not even acknowledged as an act of terrorism.
Imagine that it was only after the events of 9/11, that Canada’s first anti-terrorism act was passed in our parliament. Twenty-one years later, the world has changed irrevocably; we live in a precarious and vulnerable world where terrorism is a chilling new world order. Only two weeks ago, Canada once again faced the chilling potential for homegrown terrorism.
The Air India bombing was the result of a misguided utopian dream of a homeland far from Canada. It was the effect of a distortion of religious ideals that destroyed the values Canada had promised so many who made their home here. As history has demonstrated with cruel regularity, terrorism intersects the lives of unknowing, innocent citizens and draws them into a web of meaningless violence and retribution. The downing of Air India Kanishka Flight 182 was one such act of senseless and cowardly revenge. …-

Prof. Steven Jones, who conducted his PhD research at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center and post-doctoral research at Cornell University and the Los Alamos Meson Physics Facility, has analyised materials from WTC and has detected the existence of thermate, used for “cutting” the steel support columns, as evident in the photo below.
Dr. Jones is a co-founder of Scholars for 911 Truth.
Dr. Jones in earlier work pointed to thermate as the likely explosive that brought down the WTC1, WTC2, and WTC7 skyscrapers. But only recently was physical material analysed in the lab and the presense of thermate announced. The samples were provided Dr. Jones team from redundant sourses.
Both BYU and Prof. Jones have been offered additional grants if he would “change the direction” of his research. In addition, there have been threats made by an individual who “is taking action” to stop Steven Jones’ research, specifically his experiment with thermites (aluminothermics), on the grounds his work may be helpful to “terrorists”. Jones notes that much more detailed information on both thermite and thermate is readily available on the internet.
Why does Bush and Co. fight so hard against having a proper investigation?
Is this an Islamo-fascist Rant… or KOS Kids Boilerplate?
Apply this…then compare it to the typical tripe spouted by leftists. Then read off the points which are identical. Then show them the party platform
http://www.yale.edu/…
As with Air India we still haven’t gotten the whole story.
Watch the interview on Google. Just type in thermite.
Does this finally kick start an investigation?
Lets see if Bushes lackies can cover this up?
Wow, this thread has been highjacked by a troll and a cut and paste pain.
Love the conspiracy theorists out there. The one from last week where the guy demonstrated how 911 was demolition, by throwing a wooden plane model at a model of the twin towers.
Based on Godwins Laws, I now discount immediately any thread that brings up Bush or the US and blames them for the worlds ills.

More pain/payola from the Liberals of Ontario…
Talk Radio is touting this as Liberal Premier Dalton McGuinty’s “AdScam”.
“Bensimon Byrne, a Liberal-friendly advertising firm, designed the new provincial logo at a cost of $219,000. The agency’s Peter Byrne created the Liberals’ 2003 election ads, including the now-infamous spot featuring McGuinty saying: “I won’t raise your taxes.”
TO Red Star
Not only did McGimpy pay his ad agency $219,000 to redesign the Ontario logo, it’s been redesigned to look exactly the same as the Ontario Liberal logo.
Arrogance is a genetic trait in all these sob Liberals.
McGuilty, for sure.
