I thought he/she was a saboutouer???
Considering the amount of political capital both the Liberals and the NDP have spent on Kyoto, there’ll be no anti-American slurs LEFT next election…

Sad, pathetic. So 1990s. Have the Liberals lost their Mojo? Mojo?
Maybe the Liberals are facing the Internet the way Calvin Coolidge faced radio.
Another famous loser: Saddam Hussein, though he has yet to realize he’s lost. Bizarre– still thinks he’s the Natural Governing Bastard, much like the Liberal Party of Canada thinks it’s still the Natural Governing Party!
Just as Saddam continues to say, “I am Saddam Hussein!” the Liberals say, “We are Liberals!”
As if it all means something… ROTFALMAO
Washington Generals were the opponents of the Harlem Globetrotters I think.
It seems that the Liberals are totally serial on this…
Oh, for crying out loud, Librano$. HANG IT UP!
What did the Librano$ ever do about the Kyoto Treaty they signed? Like everything else they “did,” it was just a photo-op, and Canada’s actual environmental health got worse.
The arrogance and hypocrisy of the Libs takes one’s breath away, if the smog and other pollution they haven’t dealt with hasn’t already. Their bulls___ never ends, another thing that’s polluting the Canadian environment.
Someone needs to give them a big mirror and make them look at themselves for more than a fleeting moment to straighten a stray lock of hair or adjust a tie. They need to take a good, long look at their dismal record and stop talking crap
they know nothing about such as pollution control and their “…tremendous bench strength,…depth and diversity of experience,…youthful energy and fresh ideas,” yada, yada, yada, according to the old windbag himself, the Honourable Leader of the Opposition, Bill Graham.
Old Bill (youthful energy? vital? fresh ideas?) continues, “This new team will be vital in providing a strong and constructive opposition to Stephen Harper’s Conservative government.”
There’s nothing “new” about this team, just the same old, same old, stale, blustery, do-nothing bunch.
Canadians can see that the Emperor has no clothes; too bad they can’t. There’s no ignorance like willfull ignorance.
The Liberals seem to be from another planet when it comes to how they view the world.
Everything from the huge Kyoto scam to little things like political donations, take for example Joe Volpe’s and the Liberal Party’s insistence that donations from children are perfectly legal and above board.
Well Joe, maybe technically they are. However the perception of the average taxpayer says that it is wrong and if you happen to be elected as leader of the Liberal Party (fat chance) become the Prime Minister of Canada you would be beholden to Apotex. You would have been better off taking envelopes full of cash in your favourite pizza parlour while sticking the taxpayer for $138 pizza for two.
From the G&M.
OTTAWA — Two 11-year-olds donated $10,800 to Joe Volpe’s Liberal leadership campaign, and their 14-year-old brother gave another $5,400.
The sums were from children of former Apotex Inc. vice-president Allen Shechtman and were among the 20 donations totalling $108,000 to Mr. Volpe’s campaign from five current and former executives of the firm and 15 of their family members.
Twins Matthew and Rebecca Shechtman made their donations of $5,400 each six days before their 12th birthday on April 26, according to Mr. Volpe’s campaign-finance reports filed with Elections Canada and a published birth notice.
Their brother Noah, 14, gave another $5,400, as did each of his parents, Allen and Mary Shechtman, who are related by marriage to Barry Sherman, the chairman of Apotex Inc., Canada’s largest generic-drug maker.
The Liberal party is in an American-style quagmire.
They are going to refine their anti-Americanism. It will be anti-Bush and pro-Democratic.
However, whatever they do, they have only one tactic: propaganda, ie, manipulate the voters.
The Liberal strategy is always to select issues that can be presented in a purely emotional manner. Never rational, never open to debate. The issue will be set up so that only one possible conclusion is permitted. If you even discuss a different conclusion, you will be guilty of betrayal of humanity.
This requires that the Liberals manipulate the data, ignore dissenting data and also, constantly introduce emotional apocalpytic scenarios. Just think of some of their strategies.
Sponsorships in Quebec were presented as an apocalyptic destruction of the country. Spend the money or else. The truth was that the money was being laundered into Liberal election work in Quebec.
SSM – another apocalpytic scenario, which was set up as a ‘charter right’ when it isn’t, and presented in a manner that if you disagreed you were a heathen primate.
Gun Registry, another apocalyptic hysteria. It’s actually a means of getting votes from ignorant feminists, who think that registering a long gun will prevent someone from killing you with an unregistered handgun. Presented to us as ‘vital’ because of that completely false ‘5,000 hits a day’ use of the gun registry. Untrue.
Kyoto, our most recent apocalyptic agenda. It’s actually a UN money laundering scheme. Nothing to do with pollution for the levels are set so high no industrial country can meet them. So, they must pay a fine. The interesting thing is that the fine doesn’t go to the country’s work to decrease pollution. No. Not a penny goes to prevent pollution in that country.
Instead, the money is given to ‘developing countries’, which are completely exempt from having to control pollution. They money isn’t for them to develop pollution controls, but to develop more and more industries. To pollute.
So, Kyoto isn’t about pollution prevention. It’s a money laundering scheme to get money from industrial countries to developing countries. And, this money isn’t a loan!!! Hah! Doesn’t have to be paid back!
Ahh, the clever UN. A tactic to make the West feel guilty and give trillions to other countries, so that the whole world can continue to pollute.
Harper’s alignment with the Asia-Pacific group, however, makes sense. That group IS dealing with pollution controls. It’s not the Kyoto Money Laundering Scheme.
The Liberal/Librano$ Party of AdScam Kyoto/Maurice Strong/Power Corp/ Chretien/CSL SSMartin/Volpe/Gagliano/Guite/Dosanjh/Graham/Brison/Ignatieff/Rae/Buzz Hargrove(CAW…)/Goodale, et al is:
“Members of the Liberal Party of Canada” includes Martin/Chretien. Where are the criminal charges by the RCMP? $$$
The Sponsorship program………
“Aside from ex-bureaucrat Chuck Guité and admen Paul Coffin and Jean Brault, the RCMP were investigating other players in the sponsorship scandal, including people responsible for the program and members of the Liberal Party of Canada, according to court testimony that couldn’t be reported until now.
Details about the police investigations were under a publication ban until the jury began its deliberations yesterday in the fraud trial of Mr. Guité, the former head of the federal sponsorship program……”
Read about the “publication ban”: what else is still “banned”?

“Stossel says universal health care a mistake”
I know this is OT, but seeing as Kate is T.C.Douglas greatest admirer, I figured she needed to know about this damned meddling Yankee’s radical opinion.
It’s from Neale news. Blasphemy!
I thought this was funny:
“The AP6 modeling shows that emissions will have more than doubled worldwide by 2050. Why does the Minister of Environment want to convince Canadians that we should join something which the U.S. Congress clearly sees transparently as a failure?”
I’m pretty sure the US didn’t join Kyoto either, so by that logic why should we remain in Kyoto if the US saw it as a failure?
As far as modeling projections of AP6, how are they any different from the doomsday projections of Kyoto proptonent?
In keeping with Liberal posturing the party relys on Canadians being largely ignorant about a topic in order to bolster its position.
Have you all seen the new “Youth for Volpe” site?
from Nealenews:
http://www.youthforvolpe.ca/
It’s great!!!
The LPC has yet to learn what rational Canadians have now recognized…how an ethical, proactive government is supposed to look and that we have been deprived of one until now!
The LPC’s shameless refusal to answer for their recent abuse and negligence of this country in fact shows they have learned absolutely nothing.
The LPC,by any partisan bent,is in complete denial, dissarray and STILL without any positive vision.
Beyond the LPC’s self-induced irrelevancy, their long controlled power bases are also now under attack. From the Supreme Court members'”god-like”
comments to the PPG’s and MSM’s open rebellion against conservatism to the recent partisan rantings from the old folks home(senate). It is clear the left feels the pressure, and their only response is to continue to behave in a manner consistent with what got them tossed out of office this year.
To my thinking however, the most bizarre thing I am witnessing of the left’s current mindset is their determination to ignorantly and stubbornly stick to hate and fear mongering as their primary tactics.I am indeed convinced that no matter the results of their leadership contest, their next campaign will be as negative as the last.At least they have yet to demonstrate to me they are capable of anything more than negative, misleading and hateful campaigning.
Lefties…
In our streets…
In a cloud of anger,hopelessness and denial…
In Canada.
And I didn’t have to make this up,they accomplished it all on their own.
Thanks Rob r, for the link to Volpe’s new ‘Youth for Volpe’ site. It’s amazing what the internet can do; it can criticize and mock when the MSM and officialdom refuses to get involved.
Yes, Canadian Observer -that’s exactly it; the LPC still stick to their strategy of ‘hate and fear mongering’ as their primary tactics.
As it stands at the moment, the Liberals are s “spent force” and are totally inconsequential.
I would venture to guess that the Conservative Right would tick them off even more if they just plain ignored them.
The Liberals remind me of a line from Hamlet (I think); “much sound and fury signifying nothing”.
Appropriate?
Dear Tony Robinson, [a few nice words from the scary hidden agenda]
Since February I have actively been working on my commitments.
I have been meeting with constituents, community groups, neighbourhood associations and other community stakeholders in order to continue providing a strong voice in the government for Vancouver-Kingsway and British Columbia.
Among these activities:
Working to resolve the softwood lumber conflict with the United States. The framework will help bring stability to the province’s forestry industry and see a return of $4 billion USD in duties to Canadian companies.
Meeting with the Greater Vancouver Gateway Council to discuss how to move ahead on the Pacific Gateway initiative.
Meeting with Prime Minister Harper and Finance Minister Jim Flaherty to ensure the Government’s financial commitment to the Pacific Gateway was expressed in the Budget.
Facilitating a Container Trucking Stakeholder Forum with BC Minister Falcon to discuss a long-term solution for the industry and avoid any labour disruptions at the lower mainland ports.
Meeting with BC Minister Hansen to express continuing federal commitment and active participation to the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.
[This is about ½ of the list of business taken care of]
I offered a note of support, and David Emerson*s busy office found the time to thank me for my bit of moral backing.
Taking care of business is the impression I get. Makes me glad I voted the way I did. TG
Who can believe that with Adscam, Reloscam, the Tsunami money (where did it go, by the way?), the Duck Gun registry that a Librano leadership candidate would contemplate for a picosecond straying into any questionable funding territory.
Have they learned nothing? (Pause while I thumb through Librano policy on Crime and Punishment and their sacred belief than anyone can be rehabilitated).
More dinner-table family chuckles as parents instruct the next generation on the true nature of the Librano. What an object lesson in pure arrogance.
I can only hope for more of these antics from the Librano Klepto Kult leadership hopefuls.
Rob R: thank you so much for that ‘youthforvolpe’ thing! (My mother in law and my dog just donated 5 large, each!)
Mike in White Rock: ‘But wait- what light through yonder window breaks- which speaks, and yet sez nothing!’
Daniel… It’s not nice to kick the Leafs when they’re down (a 40 year moratorium, and counting, geez). Don’t make me add the Flames to that list.
Maurice Strong, Oak Lake Manitoba, explains everything about Paul Martin. Life-long mentor of PM. Helped PM become mucho richo off-shore in order to fight poverty on-shore. PM will no doubt end up at MS’s UN, that UNelected body that promotes : One World Governance, The Earth Charter, overriding soveriegn Countries taxation powers, Kyoto’s money laundering scheem, Saddam’s Oil For Food Scandal. Google Maurice Strong.

Martin to Table Private Members Bill
Josh Pringle
Thursday, June 1, 2006
Paul Martin wants to save the Kelowna Accord.
The Globe and Mail reports the former Prime Minister will table a private member’s bill this week to save the aboriginal accord.
Martin signed the deal with the provinces in the fall to help close the standard-of-living gap between aboriginal and non-aboriginal Canadians.
The Conservatives didn’t provide adequate funds for the pact in the May federal budget. …

“Mike in White Rock: ‘But wait- what light through yonder window breaks- which speaks, and yet sez nothing!'”
Isn’t that from Romeo and Juliet by Billy the Speakchucker?
ET,we MUST also remember that where we find the liberals’ tactics OFFENSIVE,sadly many Canadian sheeple WILL again be swayed by them.
We cannot afford to let down our guard and, most importantly,we must NOT let OURSELVES be baited into using the same gutter tactics in return. We can yackity-yak all we want about superior ethics and ideas,we MUST demonstrate them!!!
So indeed remember…Do not feed the trolls!…and they will be starved of the energy they receive from their purely partisan target shooting. At least I will never tap dance for their amusement again.
I guess another way to look at it is this:
Why stoop to sling mud at the left when the LPC itself has already armed us with RPG’s and machine guns?
Enjoy your day!
And on the front splash page it seems they have electronically extended Bill Graham’s chin for some odd reason..
and he looks all sad.

Even if it appears that way at the moment, don’t you think it’s prudent to treat them as a worthy adversary?
Great thread! Oh joy oh joy to see the sad-sack-sackers! Canadian Observer makes a key observation: be temperate in our remarks, attack arguments NEVER persons including trolls. Convert trolls don’t ammonize THEM … immunize them from fallacious thinking. That is what they are secretly pining for — why they are here!
Grasshopper,
O.K sorry about that, just pull out the Leafs and install your favorite underachieving team…Growing up in Northern Alberta, I’ve been an Oilers fan all my life. It is good to see them back contending, but like the Leafs, spent tooo many years trying to climb out of the cellar. Go Oilers!!

The panic of late from the eco freaks. There plots & plans now in ruins. Plus the incredable gains private enterprise has made in REAL pollution, not political. The treaties no one honoes . Martin nevr did a thing. Have sundered this great beast into factions. There demise is sure. Its like a bad movie. The worse it is, the more advertising is allocated. In my mind this has become a dead issue & the public cannot be fooled by these cons any more.Transfer payments to run our own industries to the biggist polluters was insane anyway. Another sop to the3 totalitarians who would benifit the most because there Nations are basket cases because of them.
Kyoto is a political tool. They had a 1 hour global warming special 2 weekends ago on the Fox News Channel, and EU Enviromental Minister Margot Wallstrom admitted that Kyoto was about levelling the playing field economically. Also, Jacques ChIraq at the Hague in 2000, said that Kyoto was a step towards a one world governance.
Kyoto is a political tool by the Euro-socialists to hamper the economy of capitalist countries, specifically the US economy which is kicking the snot out of EUnuchistan’s economy.
I’m glad we are getting out of it.
Toontown Kid :
Me & you both. It was economic suicide.
Eagerly awaiting the news headlines saying “Martin supports U.S.-style environmental policy”, emphasis on “U.S.-style”…
Liberals are ridiculous.
Anyone would admit the liberals were guilty of extreme excess.
Liberals would logically have to take steps to remove a number of bad actors from the party, even if until court cases are concluded, in order to regain the public*s forgivness and respect.
All that we see so far is a silly giggling leadership contest that seems to be unaware of any public perceptions.
Looks bad.
Looks very bad. TG
This document explains why we can at times be so confused about; Paul Martin, Jean Chretien, Brian Mulroney, Canadian Politics, The United Nations, kyoto, the Environmental Movement, The CBC, The Media. Google “Maurice Strong: Godfather of the International Environmental Movement” by Neil Hrab. In the end EVERYTHING makes sense, it just sometimes takes a few decades, most of ones lifetime !! I believe Warren Kinsella knows this better than most of us. After all he was inside The Liberal Party of Canada for awhile. Note his recent musings on “Weather predictions that are mostly wrong”. I believe there is a lot more there than just a hit on a weatherman.
Bipartisanship at long last — all political factions pointing toward Kyoto Accord as being too late to implement. Proof, David Suzuki’s retirement statement consisted of posing as Atlas or the first Adam, fig leaf and all, holding our polluted earth in back breaking pose. What’s an earthman to do? Advise business and industry to compensate in dollar terms. Rona has agreed to participate in toxin cocktail analysis of her blood and urine. I think we can take her seriously with regards to possibly exposing the fact we are irreparably ‘poisoned’. Cancer anyone? yes, one out of two is stat. Stupid is as stupid does. I guess. Left, right, left, right, left, right smart alex boot camp remarks going to do little to eradicate toxic cocktails we’re all swallowing.
If our bodies are soo000 polluted, why are we living so long ? Have North American life-spans not increased dramatically during this century ? Former East Block, USSR countries, now that is a different story.I guess it is just that I have heard CHICKEN LITTLE so many times in the MSM lately, … oh well. Actually, I will name a few “All The World’s Hoaxes”, some laughable jokes, others are serious Billion Dollar Boonedoggles, like Martin’s / Maurice Strong’s Kyoyo. Remember, at the time, how easily it would have been for the MSM to nix these scams in the bud, …. Crop Circles, Y2K, Martians, Oil For Food, Global Cooling (70s), Franken Foods, Perpetual Motion Machines, SARS population wipe-outer, West Nile Wipe-outer, Lost City of Atlantis, Flat Earth Society, Roswell NM space ship, chain letters, Fountain of Youth, Shroud of Turin, Earth Charter, One World Governance, Time Machines, Bre-X Gold Mine, UN’s hockey stick graph, Fortune Tellers, Bermuda Triangle, World Population Explosion, Malthus Food Shortage scare, Miribelle Airport, Petro Canada & the NEP, ……
B. Hoax Aware: I made EXACTLY that point to a friend who likened our world to a garage with a running car inside with the doors closed: “But what about our ever-increasing longevity?”, I asked. Silence. As we both know lefties won’t look at evidence sitting on the end of their noses like gum!
BTW, I’ve enjoyed your posts and believe you’ve got the “global warming” racket down pat. The re-emergence of the international left, massive new regulatory push, one-worldism, anti-US, anti-progress, anti-humanity (environmentalists are great haters!), envy and resentment of US success, anti-capitalism, anti-free-market.
What is truly brilliant is the usefulness of “global warming”. If it’s unseasonably cold: global warming. If it’s unseasonably hot, global warming. Hurricanes: global warming (as Barbara Streisand told us). The left has been out in the cold for a long time. Standard old-fashioned socialism is a patently observable failure everywhere and can no longer be proposed, so voila, the free market is killing the planet!
Acid rain. Whatever happend to “acid rain”?
Population explosion? Remember the Zero Population Growth push? The west is now in a demographic death spiral.
