Carnival Of The Newbies

Just a few to pass along this time. If you missed getting your suggestions in, drop them in the comments, and I’ll update the list. Blogs recommended should be under a year in operation.
Pumpkin Watch – “A Conservative Catholic full-time Mom and part-time freelance writer from the sandbar otherwise know as the ‘red’ Island.”
The Canadian Sentinel
Conservative. Counterleftist. Counterterrorist.
For both MSM news and blog coverage, try The Infozone

Whats Wrong with Healthcare – authored by a doctor with 41 years of family practice, he covers health care and lots more.
Syncrodox covers Canadian politics and current events.
Caveat fills a much needed niche – “advocating for dog owners who have been turned into second-class citizens by self-serving politicians for no reason at all.”
Doggerel Party Of Canada
Musings and ramblings on Canadian politics, dogs, children, work, cars, hockey, the abysmal quality of CBC journalism, and life in general.

  1. Thanks Kate! Was wanting to find other great conservative minded sites since Lost Budgie has flown the coop.
    – me think grandkids…
    😉

  2. I read Biased BBC periodically — great commentary on BBC bias with references and links to world news events.

  3. Try:
USS Neverdock – Indepth exposure of outrageous MSM behaviour and good coverage of Islamofascist activity.
Also Davids Medienkritik – German/ Euro MSM Dishonesty.

  4. A blog I highly recommend is “Expose the Left” at http://www.exposetheleft.com/index.php
It concentrates on lefty media, politicians and public figures. They back up each of their blog articles with streaming video and/or transcripts.
It’s American-centric but well worth the stopping by and checking out by Canadians and others. I say this because of my view that just as there is such a thing as “Western Civilization”, there is a western strain of leftist self-loathing thought extremely antithetic to Western Cuvilization and it’s traditional cultural and political values.
One can see the same debased, corroded thinking in the NY Times as in the Toronto Star; the CBC and CBS and BBC; NDP, Grit, Labour and Democrat “leaders”.

  5. Did anyone notice the recent list of new critic appointments released by the Liberals? Particularly, this item:
    NEW LIBERAL CRITIC: Belinda Stronach
TORY TARGET: No minister with same role
MINISTRY: Competitiveness and the New Economy
There’s some humour to found in the Minister of Complex Files being taking up the role of critic to… nobody.

  6. Nothing very original or exciting at any of these extremist right wing cult sites. The only humourous one is Canadian Sentinel where the guy there thinks he has uncovered an ‘arab terrorist group’ when in fact all he saw was a bunch of old Shriners (old fat ones you know, with the red fez) from North Bay. Other than that, lame; very lame. Yawn.

  7. Hmmm…what’s the definition of “extremist right wing cult site”?
Based on my experience with true dyed-in-the-wool lefties, they’d define it as a blog by somebody who’s not in total lock-step agreement with the leftist worldview; someone a millimeter to the right of such a person.

  8. lol at The Great Pumpkin
“I seem to be experiencing a Kate-alanche – welcome to visitors from SDA!”

  9. Just a reminder to those who noticed I didn’t respond to “Leftdog”, remember, Leftdog is a troll, to whom I don’t respond unless there’s something to say.
Leftdog merely expressed an opinion, prejudiced by the crippling mental disorder of leftism.
Not even worthy of our pity. Hope that mongrel gets better.
Not supposed to feed the trolls.
They’ll eventually go away if ignored.
God help them, those poor, wretched trolls.

  10. No! I have it on good authority that it was not islamist terrorists conducting drills, but in fact a bunch of old Shriners practicing their drills with those funny little cars south of North Bay.

  11. Canadian Sentinel
You should have more faith in our leader than to think he would allow islamofascists to motor around a terrorist camp in Ontario’s playground.
He has made us safe by spending all that extra money on murder weapons and people to use them.
Don’t think they won’t either. You just have to learn to relax now that we have a real government. You should begin to act like we have a real government. Unless you know something I don’t?

  12. Steve D.:
Surely you don’t seriously recommend that the state simply move in on all properties known for nefarious doings and whatnot… after all, under the current legal system in Canada, the authorities are generally required to make a case for the courts prior to making a raid and arrests at a compound, be it a terrorist training camp, a biker gang hideout, a Mafia compound, a drug lord’s estate, an illegal fornicatorium, etc…
I would recommend you commence research on Jamaat ul Fuqra. This isn’t a figment of anyone’s imagination. It’s real. And so is the threat they pose to us… directly.
    An excellent, comprehensive starting point:
