He’s got pictures up from the rally in support of Denmark that was held yesterday (you’ll have to click to view as I have yet to figure out how to post pictures in WordPress and don’t have time to tackle that tonight), and a later post linking the G&M’s take on it (I dunno, doesn’t that look like more than 100-150 people?) My favorite sign of the bunch? “All we are saying is give speech a chance.”
He’s also got posts regarding the International Womens Day demonstration in Iran, complete with video links. They’re kind of grainy, but they go from a peaceful demonstration to people running away after some military-types show up.

In the run up and aftermath of the Iraq War, America’s political right engaged in any number of loathsome, thuggish acts in order to suppress dissent. Particularly disgusting was the way in which they went after anti-war artists like The Dixie Chicks, burning albums and slinging the word “traitor” around with wild abandon. And all for telling the truth: Bush really is an embarrassment to the nation; the Iraq War really is illegal, immoral, and a disaster.
But the Chicks are back and raising hell on their new album, which includes the tune “Not Ready to Make Nice”, co-written with Dan Wilson of Semisonic.

Big city lib — Isn’t it funny how the left whines when their patented bear belly and bull horn protesting style is used against them. British Press Shuts Out Mark Steyn
Mark Steyn�s column is no longer available in the British press; according to the Guardian�s Lionel Shriver, Steyn has now been dropped from both the Sunday Telegraph and the Spectator. (Hat tip: Tim Blair.)
And there�s very little doubt that it�s because of his clear-headed, uncompromising writing about Islam.

Brave Moderate Muslim speaks out….whoa, and it is a Woman!
This is a surprisingly good article for the NYT. I hope she has a good life insurance policy. The religion of peace obviously won’t tolerate her views:

Only 5 or 6 people turned up for the pro-Denmark rally in Halifax. It could be that part of problem there was Peter March, the Saint Mary’s University professor who got some attention for posting the cartoons on his university office door and being told to take them down by the administration. March was being intentionally provocative (as he will admit himself), and most serious people in Halifax have long regarded him as a tiresome self-promoter.
There are people in the Maritimes who support tolerance, free expression, and open inquiry; they tend not to take part in street demonstrations and would be reluctant to follow Peter March anywhere.

Bush Didn’t Lie
That’s what Newsmax is reporting in this article. Of course, that’s old news to anyone reading the Right Blogosphere. Here’s what Newsmax is saying:
Newly translated Iraqi documents from Saddam Hussein’s regime show that President Bush was factually accurate when he told the nation in his 2003 State of the Union Address that Iraq had recently sought uranium from Africa. Bush’s 16-word statement had formed the basis for the claim adopted by administration critics that “Bush lied” about Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction programs.
But according to the Washington Times today, an unnamed U.S. official reports that “newly translated Iraqi documents…tell of Saddam seeking uranium from Africa in the mid-1990s.” The documents also speak of burying prohibited missiles, a government official familiar with the declassification process told the paper.
