It looks like the CBC is back!

Q. If a tree falls in the forest and the CBC does a remote broadcast of the event, does the tree make a sound?
A. Not unless the tape gets played on Hockey Night in Canada.

And if a tree falls in the forest- does anybody give a rat’s ass?
The CBCs back?
I smell a fall election!
“Expert” Tom predicted it!
An election must be on the way; the Libranos don’t want to bear the full burden of slagging Harper. Mind you, they still have the Globe and Mail.
LOL! That’s about the sound of it. There used to be the odd show, I would watch weekly, and my kids used to watch Sesame Street; now we might watch something twice a year, if that. CBC is a waste of Tax Payer’s money. Those who want to support should do so as P.B.S. viewers do in the Grand ol’ U.S.A. Heck, if they have to actually COMPETE for a living and come up with a decent line, I might even pay to support.
HNIC is the only thing that makes money for the CBC – they had to settle now – otherwise they would just disappear quietly into the night and nobody would notice. BUMMER.
I still won’t watch CBC or listen to CBC radio. I can’t stand the America bashing nor can I stand all their anti Canadian programming. They think they are the purveyors of Candian Culture, but it’s actually the Canadian Counter Culture. Traitors but not aware of it. They are all working for the Federal Liberal Party and that party is also very very anti Canadian.
I remember what Canada was about and I remember that we were a proud country. I see little left to be proud of and the CBC leads that parade.
Duke Mcgoo just want to see if I can create a link here. Excuse me … no big deal. Just curious
Well, I guess this ends our quiet evenings listening to c.b.c. radio which has been airing great music without the blather from the loonie left. So it’s back to cd’s and reading which is still a hell of a lot better than left wing verbal porno.
Well, I guess I’ll have to pour myself a nice cup of whoop-de-doo.
I believe it’s now common belief among Canadians that the CBC is irrelevant, uncerebral, socialistic, politically-hypercorrect and might as well be sold or shut down. Then we won’t have to pay for it anymore.
The private sector does a far, far better job. So, in fact, does the blognet (more informative and entertaining).

Perhaps if they sent the proportional bill to the 7% of Canadians that watched it and added it on to their cable( somewhere north of $2000/year each) we could get this Canadian Embarrasment shutdown immediately.
I suspect their veiwing numbers also include the north where they have the choice to watch it or the snowbank.
An early snowfall shut down the satellite system last night.
NO TV!
The wife and I read books.
WOW!
BOOKS!
CBC back in action and the trial of Guite and Breault postphoned to May 2006(CTV.ca)
Can a federal election be that far off?
I can honestly say I have never been less suprised in mt life.
What’s on Sirius\U.S television.
Get back to “work” CBC…
The CBC was on strike????
I liked the music they used to play while on stike – guess that is over. It was really nice to know that I was getting some value for my expropriated money.
So much for the 3 million a day we were saving by having the lock on.
