My, what a talent he is.
Here we go again. This sounds like the swift-boat veterans all over again. Attack the messenger and not the facts. Powerline attacked the documents Dan Rather and CBS news used as an example of their lack of credibility. Not attacking their credibility as an example of untrue facts.
Rall raises the question of his own “education”. I suspect this was somewhat of a Freudian creation. Not that I need to know, since the proof is in the pudding. But.
Rall is just being a precious snob when he talks about “real journalists” (a coded expression meaning “journalists I agree with”).
He’s deliberately choosing to ignore the fact that “real journalism” is no better or worse in overall quality than “blog journalism.”
“Real journalism” runs the gamut from the National Enquirer to the National Review…
