Regular Americans don’t want to give up their heritage and rights, they don’t want a top down government and economy run by unaccountable bureaucrats and/or subject to foreign interference, they don’t want to be the world’s piggy bank, they don’t want to make the world safe for multinationals, in short, they they don’t want America to be China’s bitch.
Donald Trump is what happens when both major parties abandon the lower and middle classes to their fates in the name of open borders and globalization. And, then lie about it.
People who support Trump know he is a stand in for working America and Main Street. He stands in the way of a cynical and willful assault on Enlightenment ideals by the most cocooned and privileged, the transnationals, the Citizens of the World, along with their hangers on, the people for whom government bureaucracy, NGOs, foundations, media, academia is a revolving door….These same people are insulated from the effects of their bad decisions. They are avid to destroy the social contract. I have no doubt they are willing to sell the birthright of regular every day Americans down the river to feather their own nests and for their own self aggrandizement.

When the publication title says it all
I have this type in my wife’s family in the USA. A few in my own family. They all have one thing in common. They all need someone else to financially support them. They all have do nothing jobs that never bring in enough income to survive. I think the reason Trump terrifies them so much is they are reacting to the fear that their meal ticket will be cut off and they might have to fend for themselves. Trump is holding up a mirror and the image they see is not pleasing. American is great. You can make it. You can be a success. If you aren’t, well maybe that’s your own fault. I have saved an enormous amount of money because of the ones who were always in need of a loan and have chosen to cut us out of their lives because of our support for the evil one. My brother-in-law called me a few weeks ago wanting to “reconcile”. He soon brought up how his latest business venture is in deep trouble because of the corona virus. I told him Trump would have a vaccine soon and just the mention of Trump sent him into a meltdown and he screamed about how horrible I was and how he didn’t have to put up with my sh*t and he hung up on me. I smiled as I hung up the telephone. He didn’t even get around to asking for money.
I love your posting! This woman reminded me of so many former friends who vote NDP in Canada. They are so much better than the rest of us. They don’t own a car, but anytime they want to go to the grocery store or visit their mother who lives in Newmarket (at least 1 hour drive from Toronto), I was asked to either drop them off/pickup from grocery store or asked “how would you like to visit my mother in Newmarket this Sunday”.
This attitude is fine when you are in your 20’s, even in your 30’s, but it “sucks big-time” when you hit your 70’s and you have nothing saved for your old age, you don’t own the roof over your head and you are at the mercy of politicians. I am referencing former friends from 40 years ago who have had this happen to them. And I truly believe that in 40 years time, when this woman and her husband are hitting 70, this will also happen to them.

The adjustment bureau will need a 4 wheel drive just to get through the driveway if they can even find the place through the maze of range and township roads with almost zero signage in place. They will get their shiny shoes dirty or full of snow and my enthusiastically friendly pack of dogs will welcome their spotless suits with dirty paws and slobbering licks. Their passage will trip my trail cam and an alarm that someone is coming. That is if our rural watch hasn’t already which is pretty good at spotting strange vehicles. Most people drive right by us with no clue that anyone is even there.

The difference between socialism and fascism is the latter allows “private” industry but controls it, and sets policies to benefit it and thence to control the people.
