  1. Guess what happens on a Canadian long weekend? Bob “never held a real job in his life” Rae is appointed to Canada’s ambassador to the UN. Okay to puke now if you wish.

  2. Bob & Rae was a comedy duo back in the 50’s. And they’re still making me laugh! What a joke!

      1. And could traditional allies count on much of anything from Canada given the current management?

  3. Don’t forget that Dipper Stephen Lewis also held that job but was appointed by Lyin’ Brian.

    But, yeah, barf!

(What is it about never having worked at a proper job that makes certain Canadians suitable for cushy political positions?)

      1. – and I’d bet Li’l Bobbie’s views on gun control mesh perfectly with Li’l Justin’s and Li’l Gerry’s, and the UN’s. Coincidence? Or… Something Else?

      2. Bob is an ESI Rider; ESI = Enlightened Self Interest. This class of politicians and business types believe they have the right to govern you because they are more enlightened and because they are more enlightened they believe they can use that governance to deliver in their self interest. You find ESI Riders at every level of government. They are most pernicious at the local level. In the case of Bob Rae His brother John
( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_A._Rae ) has all the right Laurentian Elite connections. The ESI Rider class transcends political parties. Peter McKay fits into that group and all the old PCs in western Canada that support him tend to be ESI Rider’s in their own communities. I still remember the joining of the Reform (Canadian Alliance) / PC parties in Alberta. The PCs had very few members in their party — as few as single digits in some communities but they were all ESI Riders. The Reform / CA side had thousands of members yet in some cases the PCs took over the boards and got their own ESI Riding candidates nominated. Why? Because reformers had fought for fair play. ESI Riders see rules as mere inconveniences to be manipulated to serve their own interests.

Many of them are China dolls getting rich serving the Chicom interests.

    1. Who would those “certain Canadians” be?

Be they those self serving ambitious louts who’d be the great choking stench in our lives because they have the niggling witless lügenpresse on their side. People like Justus von Poopineauville, Billy the Kid, Barbie Builder, Crissy Kolbassa, and Leader Buttinsky, just to name a few?

    2. It is called being a communist/socialist. Has no one ever noticed that about Canada?

      1. Because Trump knows the Art of the Deal.

He threatened to ban TikTok. The Chinese owners (they don’t own all of it, just ~40%) have bailed out of their stake and are in negotiations to sell it to Microsoft.

End result: TikTok returns to American control, Chinese no longer get to use it to spy on American citizens, and all Trump had to do was tweet.

  4. College Sports is in for some rough water.

Not only do the players want more protection from the Chinese Coronavirus, but they also want a small piece of the action, like half of all sports revenues.

“This in no way will be limited to the Pac-12. SEC players are already grumbling about health and safety standards too. This could force the NCAA hand.”

    1. Call off the season. Since there is no team, take away their scholarships and dismiss them from school, since there is hardly anyone who would qualify for a school like UCLA, Cal, or Stanford on their own merits, football aside. Next year, find someone more grateful.
These people do not appreciate what an opportunity they are offered. Some of them will go on to play professionally, others may get involved in coaching at a high school level. Failing all that, if they apply themselves they can make good use of their education at some of the top universities in the country. They get free tuition, free tutoring, free room and board at a luxury not available to ordinary students, no matter how much the schools protest otherwise, free coaching, free training. How much is that total package worth? I would imagine somewhere more than $150,000 per athlete per year.
I went to UCLA on a scholarship that gave me just free tuition. It was still a hardship to get to school. It was a three hour round trip on buses. But I was appreciative of my opportunity, and I am proud of my school. Hence my screen name. I have season tickets for football and basketball. But with what is going on, I don’t know if I can support those kind of ingrates if the university continues to coddle them.
I had always been crazy about sports. But I have given up NFL and NBA a long time ago. It wasn’t hard. When I told myself I shouldn’t care what happens, I didn’t. Just like that. Cold turkey. Like how I stopped smoking. The Dodgers and UCLA are harder. But it’s getting close.

      1. Of course! Call off the season. No play no pay.
Even the precious Olympics were postponed.

        1. Remember what happened to the 1980 Moscow Olympics. They were held, of course, but with considerably fewer participants because of the boycott arising from the invasion of Afghanistan.

      2. Now we see where “athletes” like Lebron “I’m getting paid a gazillion dollars with this contract and yet I’m owned” James might have acquired their entitled attitude.

        1. back when I commuted once a month to a fly-in minesite I’d regularly offer rides to hitchikers in potentially deadly weather. One teen I gave a ride to was returning to the family farm off of HWY 16 150km east of Prince George. He and his dad raised sled dogs.

There is a provincial waiting list for roadkill for those who can use it in ways that don’t violate public health. Some would butcher the meat for their own use, he and his dad used the moose or elk as a cheap supplement to their dogfood bills. I learned something that trip.

    1. And make sure you have the local game warden on speed dial. If you do it right, you get to keep the meat.

  5. Maybe this why Gropey Joe Biden sudenly decided to postpone his VP Pick for another week?

    1. Joe is walking into the Hammer….Nancy is 3rd inline and if she gets Susan Rice on the ticket it will be a slam dunk that Susan Rice gets indicted on OCT 28th…. That leaves Joe all by himself & Nancy will lead him to the Shark bait tub/tank….Joe gone!

  6. Brien Foerster is one of those Ancient Aliens kooks.

The pre-Inca megaliths were built a culture called the Killke, who inhabited the area for about two hundred years and then abandoned it. The Inca moved in about a hundred years after that. There’s nothing particularly unusual about any of this.

  7. Interesting video about the ancient anomalies in the Highlands of Peru.

We can thank that region as well for producing one of the worlds most popular food staples, the Solanum tuberosum esculentum (later simplified to Solanum tuberosum) aka, the potato. It helped bring the population of the planet to where it is today.

    P.S.
These people were deemed to be spud lovers:
    • We can credit a delighted Thomas Jefferson for introducing French fries to America.

    • Stompin’ Tom Connors – wrote and sang “Bud the Spud”
    https://youtu.be/l_6s3i-Rt-A

    • Nancy Ross

    1. – and delightfully, spuds belong to the Solanum family – the same family that boasts Deadly Nightshade. Don’t eat green potatoes!

      1. Night Shade, isn’t that the sames as Monk’s Hood? Have some of that growing on the west side of the house. Deep purple to white with blue flecks. Grows to 10 feet some years, kinda stunted this year. Cold spring.

    2. We can credit a delighted Thomas Jefferson for introducing French fries to America.

You mean “freedom fries”, don’t you?

It would be appropriate, though, to rename them “Justin fries” here in Canada as El Spuddo lately looks like his mind’s been fried. (Yeah, I know, it always was, but we can definitely see it now.)

      1. “P’tates frites” in Kaybekistan. A staple of Fwench street kultur. Right up there with poutine. Instead of ketchup, the Froggies glop poutine all over their p’tates frites.

    3. Nancy – great link re potatoes. Maybe we should reconsider calling JT “little potato” since potatoes are so useful.

  8. From the Geller Report: the Seattle city council has voted to abolish its police force, to be replaced by city-funded community organizations that show that they have “gender-affirming, anti-racist praxis”. Got that? On that note, we all should consider our “anti-racist praxis”. I like that term!

  9. The Liberal Party’s Globe and Mail has a story written by two former Liberal cabinet ministers. They are calling for all asylum seekers not to be returned to the evil United States.

    1. Fine by US. None of those Asylum Seekers that moved across our Northern Border into Canada were US Citizens to start with. Canada can deport them directly to their home countries.

      1. +++^ Amen! And delighted to see that somebody else sees this as I do!

Now if only Little Potato and his SJW-centric ‘friends’ could get on-board with the “deporting” thing…

        1. Now if only Little Potato and his SJW-centric ‘friends’ could get on-board with the “deporting” thing…

          And deport themselves with them.

      2. Deport them to the UN building in NYC. A National ‘Bus & Begone’ policy will save money. Otherwise dump them on the judge who made the decision about giving them residence.

  10. And now your Canadians are racist bastards stories for today. Brought to you by the Liberal Party’s CBC. Story that the new Covid app is racist because blacks and indians don’t have new phones to download it. Story that Doug Ford’s plan to destream high school is racist because it doesn’t go far enough. Black leader of march for black students explains that black children of immigrants need schools to fight white supremacy and give black students lots of free stuff. And Trump is racist for picking on poor China’s Tiktok. Our Great Leader would never think of banning Tiktok. Great photos on the CBC of Trump looking really evil.

    1. That Covid App thingy is also ‘ageist’ because we who retired before apps were invented can’t manipulate our arthritic fingers to set it up or respond quickly to messages sent advising us to ‘Terminate, Terminate !’

      1. Oh, and it’s luddite-ist as well. There are some people like me who don’t own one of them new-fangled phone thingies, don’t want to, and couldn’t care less. So how am I supposed to get the latest fear-mongering missive about the phony-baloney virus and be reminded that I must panic and cower in fear?

    2. Count your blessings you’re not inflicted with Yahoo! Their lead story this morning is “TRUMP IS PLANNING TO NOT EVEN HOLD AN ELECTION!!!!!! – see? – we TOLD you he was worse than Hitler!!!” Brought to you by the U.S. house majority whip (who, need it be said, is Democrat).

      1. The Liberal Party’s CBC had a long discussion this morning on how Trump is going to go full dictator and not recognize the results of the election.

        1. Just appalling. The mischief making media put that out there and now they keep hammering on it. What makes me very suspicious was the media asking Trump before the last election if he would accept defeat. The same question was never asked of the Dems, and of course they have never accepted the Trump win, working in many ways to undermine it — Mueller, Steele dossier, Russian interferance, 25th Amendment, even bribing that Green leader to sue to overturn results. What this is in my view is setting the stage for massive Democratic cheating. That is the only way they can win. When Trump claims cheating, they holler about Trump refusing to leave office — and of course they have already laid the groundwork for this, so people swallow this. It is nothing but propaganda. There is absolutely no other reason for them to be pushing this at this time. Trump should have the worst plotters arrested before November. And he must stick with no universal mail in.

      2. The only reason I still use Yahoo is because of its e-mail service.

  11. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-07-28/sweden-unveils-promising-covid-19-data-as-new-cases-plunge
    Sweden population: 10.18 million
    Sweden Wuhan Flu deaths: 5702
    K-bec population: 8.18 million
    K-bec Wuhan Flu deaths: 5681

One place went full gestapo on freedom, closed its borders, shut skools, businesses and now demands mask wearing indoors.
One place was shit on by The World for not closing, for not panicking, for accepting the inevitability of disease.

Tegnell also broached the subject of face masks, which the World Health Organization recommends people use when social distancing isn’t possible.
“With numbers diminishing very quickly in Sweden, we see no point in wearing a face mask in Sweden, not even on public transport,” he said.

    1. He always seems to successfully wriggle his butt out of every wringer it’s caught in. This leads me to another question: just what did happen at that school where he was teaching and what excuse did he use to slither out of that situation?

    2. Some dates left off of the timeline:
2012 Big Bad PM Harper audits charities
2015 Dawn of the second enlightenment Trudeau sets up panel, consisting of charity insiders, to advise him on CRA audits of charities
2016 Panel advises not auditing charities, Trudeau complies
2020 Auditor General has request for budget to audit covid spending refused
I had assumed that the banning of charity audits was to protect environmental NGOs and hide their foreign and government funding but with the ‘WuWHO flu crisis’ it works just as well to hide any spare change that may go missing.
Totally unrelated but are any investigative reporters looking into the list of PPE suppliers and their links to the LPC?

  12. I’ve been following Foerster for quite some time now, along with Randall Carlson and Graham Hancock who are almost regulars on the Joe Rogan podcast. They’re not in the same vein as Eric Von Daniken who claims Extraterrestrial beings travelled to Earth and built the huge megaliths.
Hancock and Foerster contend that the ancients had stone cutting skills that cannot even be duplicated today and that we aren’t being told the truth as to the age of these immense structures.

Archaeologists would have you believe that a huge labour force 5000 years ago armed with stone hammers and copper chisels shaped, squared, lifted and set into place 20 ton granite stones with mind blowing precision.
Absurd!!! And Gobekli Tepe shatters that claim.

    Love this stuff!

    1. Meh….
I think the human mind at the time of Creation was using all cells at 100%.
They were quite capable at language, free thinking, survival, math and engineering skills.
The further we go the less brain power we have.
      Proof: todays news

      1. I’ve seen the top video but not the bottom one. Good viewing for tonite.
        Thanx Nold.

    1. Only an unethical persony needs an ethics commissioner to tell him what it is.

    1. Someone posted a link to the autopsy report the other day– Very revealing. I don’t believe they will be able to convict those cops, so more riots. I am reading Mugged by Ann Coulter. It is a very interesting account of many deceptive incidents over the years that Blacks have used to promote racial advantage and thwart cops. Often, this would not work except for the duplicitous media. Good book. It was written a few years ago, so the Floyd death and reaction are not included, but the pattern is very clear. The same garbage was going on after the Rodney King episode. The story told by the media was intentionally deceptive.

  13. And now another Canadians are racist bastards story from Blackie’s CBC. Immigrant parents of black students marched in diverse Toronto today to protest white supremacy in schools. Hamilton also joined in on the fun by having a demonstration against white supremacy and islamophobia in schools.

  14. L-The Key to Defeating COVID-19 Already Exists. We Need to Start Using It | Opinion
Harvey A. Risch, MD, PhD , Professor of Epidemiology, Yale School of Public Health On 7/23/20 a

As professor of epidemiology at Yale School of Public Health, I have authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications and currently hold senior positions on the editorial boards of several leading journals. I am usually accustomed to advocating for positions within the mainstream of medicine, so have been flummoxed to find that, in the midst of a crisis, I am fighting for a treatment that the data fully support but which, for reasons having nothing to do with a correct understanding of the science, has been pushed to the sidelines. As a result, tens of thousands of patients with COVID-19 are dying unnecessarily. Fortunately, the situation can be reversed easily and quickly.

    1. This is pretty interesting. Thanks for posting. I am seeing a lot of talk about this recently. On the conspiracy side, the suggestion is that if an effective cure is available, they won’t be able to run with that vaccine. After viewing Judith Mikovitz’s video (Plandemic) I think there might be something to that. Earlier studies indicated the effectiveness of HCQ in fighting Covid — even Fauci supported it — but that was a few years back. He seems to have forgotten.

  16. Kate the Ancient Anomalies video was priceless. But it does not match what the Elders say of all the 1st Immigrant Tribes of America’s.
