FDA expands probe: Commissioner claims Biden administration withheld data on heart risk
The Food and Drug Administration has expanded its investigation of deaths possibly linked to the Covid vaccine to include adults as well as children, according to a Trump administration official.
…“F.D.A. is doing a thorough investigation, across multiple age groups, of deaths potentially related to Covid vaccines,” Andrew Nixon, a spokesman for the Department of Health and Human Services, said on Tuesday.
The broader review follows a memo in late November by Dr. Vinay Prasad, the F.D.A.’s top vaccine regulator, who informed staff members that the agency had linked about 10 children’s deaths to the Covid shots. He highlighted the dangers of myocarditis, or inflammation of the heart muscle, which the agency has for years cautioned is a rare but worrying side effect, especially among teenage boys and young men.
Daily Mail: In the study, published yesterday in Science Translational Medicine, scientists analyzed in the lab the blood of people who received the Covid vaccine. In those who also developed myocarditis, the researchers found higher levels of two proteins, CXCL10 and IFN-gamma.

You are assuming that the COVID vaccines were ineffective and unduly dangerous.
Well that’s certainly what a certain faction on the internet has convinced itself. But that is not what the preponderance of scientific evidence says.

Science is not decided by a show of hands. All it takes is a single, well-researched paper to blow decades, even centuries, of prepondery completely out of the water.
That might be true for the rare theoretical paper whose arguments are so persuasive and explanatory that the paper alone changes everything. Newton’s Principia Mathematica comes to mind.
It is not true for statistical experimental studies, where results need to be replicated. There is too much chance that any one study suffers from a hidden flaw or bias. So yes, in these cases, multiple studies are needed to have confidence in the results.
Science is not done by brahmins in white coats refusing to let the laity view the Sacred Data. That’s a religion. You should be lauding this. After all, if the mRNA gene therapies truly are Safe and Effective(TM), more data can only further prove this, right?
Depends. If they are feeling heat from RFK Jr to find “damning evidence” then that’s what they’ll do, even if it’s a reiteration of what’s already well known and not particularly convincing. As an example, Vinay Prasad’s statement (mentioned in the link) seems to have been based in large part on the VAERS database, which establishes nothing as VAERS can not establish causality.

The converse is also possible, n’est-ce pas? Perhaps there was pressure from large pharmaceutical companies in the form of withheld grant money to suppress “damning evidence?” Follow the money. They made $billions from the Covid vaccines while being held harmless against any vaccine injury (at least in the U.S.).

Good theory but it doesn’t stand up. The papers were from around the world, most with no link to pharmaceutical companies.
While “billions” sounds like a lot, it pales in comparison to the hundreds of blillions of dollars that nations threw at COVID research. There’s no way any group of pharmaceutical companies would have had the monetary or logistical resources to carry out this dastardly plan.
Yes, experts are incorruptible unless they disagree with me, at which they become transparently corrupt.

As I said since the mandatory covid vaccination fiasco, it generally takes 8 to 10 years for the truth to come out when dealing with pharmaceutical companies. Because governments imposed the shots on to citizens, it may take a bit longer. They won’t want to be liable for injuries and deaths so I’m guessing they’ll enact laws to shield themselves from civil and criminal cases before they fully release incriminating data.

Here in the UK the government provided pharmaceutical companies with anonymised data regarding deaths and vaccination status. A Freedom of information request to make that data public has been rejected, twice, on the basis that discovering there was a correlation (does not imply causation but ….) between getting jabbed and dying may upset those who lost loved ones, possibly due to vaccination.
If they have the data but refuse to release it, it’s corrupt; we know it, they know it and they know we know they know it…….
