It seems the play among some Democrat governors and mayors was to refuse to call in the National Guard while also making their police departments stand down and give the rioters “space to destroy,” which would cause the situation to become so bad that Trump would be forced to act.
And the act they anticipated the president to take was to seize in the U.S. military in to restore order. This would have then allowed them to play their “Trump the Dictator” narrative all the way to the election.
But Trump didn’t do what they expected.
Pause for a moment to think about Democrat politicians rubbing their hands with glee over the death and destruction their policies & inactions have caused in their communities – all in anticipation of forcing President Trump to restore civility & order through a show of force. Thankfully the cameras of their MSM apparatchiks didn’t capture this desired outcome because it never happened. Why would anyone vote for these cretins ever again?!

I predicated exactly this to a friend of mine in a text two Saturday ago about Philadelphia. Sure enough, later that same Saturday, the Philly cops did absolutely nothing for what seemed like an eternity, while Walnut Street – the premier shopping street in Philadelphia in the nicest part of town – Rittenhouse Square – was being looted, ransacked, and set on fire. It was all being broadcast live on TV. The rioters had free reign. The new police chief – who recently came from – wait for it now – PORTLAND – was holed up in her bunker at Police headquarters. She had to have been watching the same live coverage, but issued no orders to confront the rioters. Pure evil. All done in an effort to damage Trump, rile up African Americans, and return these far left commie Democrats to power.
Your police chief, Danielle Outlaw (amazing name for a police chief!) arrived in Portland, and I immediately jumped to the conclusion that she was an affirmative action hire. And that is probably what they thought that they were getting.
However, over time I became more and more a fan. She really tried hard to do her job, especially when it came to Antifa. However, Portland’s mayor reserves the role of commissioner to himself, and blocked every action she tried to take. After a while it became obvious that she was just going to say what she wanted to do and let Wheeler (the mayor) block it, put in enough time so that it didn’t look bad on her resume, them move out.
I would much rather have seen Wheeler move out, or get run over by a bus, or something, but she left and moved to Philadelphia.
I have to wonder about that. Having seen how she got screwed for trying to do the job she was hired for in Portland, I really expected her to negotiate a fairly free hand. But, these are lefty politicians we are talking about ….

The police not stopping the mayhem is a sure sign.

If the upcoming election battle is for the moderate 10% in the middle then the DNC is blowing it big time. Trump can grab the ‘law & order’ plank and appeal to those threatened by insurrection. To an extent this will work for the CPC in Canada as well. The question in Canada is whether the CPC has the balls to do so. I would suggest not.

Actually Biden is strongly ahead in the polls while campaigning from a basement. The polls are also clear that BLM is winning they’ve made massive strides in the past month.

Some things to take away from this. First of all, it might be 4chan pranking around. But, wouldn’t be a very good prank tbh (especially on a protected thread). Secondly, I’m always suspect when someone from ANTIFA posts something using something resembling proper grammar and punctuation. That being said, the real thing that sticks out is a reference to coordination with a third party which the ANTIFA member calls “fascists.” They do this with the Democrat party all the time. They aren’t inclusive. In the opinions of most ANTIFA members, socialism and anarchy are their bread and butter and they see the Democrats slightly less guilty than republicans in that regard. Also, the DOJ had announced that they were, indeed, going after the ring leaders in ANTIFA and had communication with outside parties to identify those individuals (including the media). There have been close to 15,000 arrests relative to the rioting across the nation. The rumor mill is saying that about 900 of these were targeted ANTIFA members. In addition, there is more anecdotal evidence of ANTIFA ringleaders being pulled right off the street by federal officers including video on one such occurrence.
So, take the above with a grain of salt. But, it surly sounds plausible. In the past, ANTIFA members would get arrested…released, and the charges would eventually (and quietly) be dropped. That was standard procedure in local municipalities. But, that wasn’t federal court. They made a mistake by not staying local with their membership, and by crossing over state lines to do what they do…they brought federal law into the mix.
All that you lack is any proof whatsoever.

Changing your vote means you would have to admit you’ve always been wrong. Most people are unwilling to do that.
