State Of The Nation

CTV;

Protesters have blocked access to the Thousand Islands Bridge as families return home after the Family Day long weekend.

The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority says traffic restrictions to Canada are in effect due to protesters on the Canadian span of the bridge crossing.

In a message on Twitter, Ontario Provincial Police announced Highway 137 is closed in the Lansdowne area, including access from Highway 401 eastbound and westbound and access to the United States.

How thoughtful of the OPP to step up to the plate with volunteer traffic control. Mighty neighborly.

    1. Block ALL their resources, food water, gas ..everything, then they can BEG their way off that bridge.

    1. Boy I was asking earlier where Trudeau is today “private meetings” all day apparently. Nothing like an apres-ski to reduce the day’s tensions.

It’s increduible. After 10 days of Canada’s enemies shutting the country down, he’s finally back from his winter vacation in Costa Rica, Africa and Europe and has gone off skiing! Is this Gerry Butts’s planning?

      1. Its important to remember that these foreign funded eco terrorists, or as the Turdhole Media call them (” Protesters”) are on Justines team… the terrorists are Turdhole people, they’ are on the same team. Turdhole being conveniently out of the country while the country was invaded was all pre-planned… Turdhole, Liberals and the foreign funded terrorists are all on the same page and the same team. Everything is going as they planned, aided and abetted by our State funded Media. #WEXIT

  1. The world just gets more bizarre every day. The entire country is shut down because a handful of losers thought as hereditary chiefs they should be able to dictate band decisions in perpetuity. They lost their election. The elected chiefs and the majority of the band want the pipeline. So a bunch of white liberals from the US step in and spend $$$$$ to shit down Canada, and the idiots in charge side with the american NGOs and the 2 or 3 disgruntled losers from the band. I just noticed a typo above but I left it as is – seems more appropriate than shut.
Also – has anyone seen much of the Canadian MSM discuss the fact that almost all of the band members want the pipeline? I haven’t , but admittedly don’t watch any Canadian news.

    1. The “hereditary chiefs” are just doing it for the foreign money, as are the non-native organizers.

Spontaneous? Not on yer life. Planned I say.

      1. Correct… all pre planned… the PMO and the Librano caucus are chalk full of foreign funded eco terrorists and of course they knew all about this foreign funded invasion and they all knew about it way before hand… they are all part of the same cabal. They thought that keeping the bearded meth head out of the country would distance the PMO radicals from the foreign invaders, with the help of the corrupt Media of course… seems to be working just as they planned.

      2. We need evidence of this, for all to see. The public is intuitively aware these folks are in it for themselves and their paymasters. This would be the cherry on the sundae of their suspicion of the “protester’s” true motives. Please help.

  2. Excellent. The sooner Canada becomes Canadastan the better. Folks we are witnessing the making of a third world class shithole.
I can see the process exponentially accelerated when we enter recession later this year.
Time to celebrate; I’m opening my old scotch right now.

F#ck Canadian voters. You had the #PPC…

Now only if Ab & Sask can separate.

    Bliss…

  3. Blocking the border now?
Do they want attention from the US administration?
If that’s what their asking for they should get it good and hard.
Nothing would change the dynamic quicker than the sock monkey getting a personal call from DJT and one second after answering getting an earful.
“Hey dips!t, I’ll be closing off the border until you get this taken care of. If you need someone else to do it for you call Homeland security and ask for the Under Secretary I’ve already given him pre-approval. Oh yeah and one more thing, I’d have fired your ass long ago.” click

    1. Not quite. Trump would say: ‘If you can’t do it, I’ll send in the US army to “help”, if you know what I mean’..

  4. We all know there are professional protesters who have bag and will travel so my immediate thought is always George S. Too bad there isn’t a way of hosing them down as it’s a nice cold day here in the T.Is. A firefighting helicopter would be able to disperse them quickly so why isn’t something drastic like that used? Never mind waiting for the OPP on foot.

  5. Well as long as the Tim Horton police don’t use violence. Using violence to stop criminal activity in Sunny Ways Canada is not “progressive”. Perhaps a tearful Justin should burn jet fuel there and apologize to the peace loving indians and environmentalists, in case they were upset at the police presence.

  6. I hope I don’t have to kill an OPP or an Indian to get across the border Sunday. Someone will get hurt. I am sick of the shit.

  7. May as well let the wagonburners shut down the whole country. Them goddamn liberals will run out of soy for their lattes and just maybe then they’ll let the RCMP split some heads open…which is what shoulda happened a week ago.

  8. Wish I could join them and help out. I want the everything shut down east of Alberta NOW. Let them starve and freeze in the dark.

  9. Time to get out of the country and never come back if possible. I doubt even my kids would miss me. Stupid people.

  10. He should quit if he’s lost interest in his job? Was he ever interested in it?

    1. B A, I think his strategy may be to fly in for the rescue, and let Christa take the blame, and make himself the hero, then loose a non confidence vote, and viola, an election while the Can’tservatives are leaderless, as they were last election. And hope he come up with another majority. He maybe in trouble if that is the plan(which may be a product of Butts), as Christa will not take that lying down:-))) Figuratively of course! She has aspirations of being PM, she already approached Bronfmans once trying to convince them to do so before last election. Fun times ahead, and I can see Ooz and Colon tears now!!

  11. I’m pretty sure that there are still 30 or 40 “Cabinet Ministers” available for assignment for “dialogue” duties with each new blockade as they unfold. No need to busy the doughnut eaters. Butts could schedule their assignments as he likely knows where the next spontaneous protest will pop up. If too many blockades form, there are always Liberal MP back benchers available for the task. After them, the Supremes should also be seconded as it will be enlightening to them to experience the closest thing to “meaningful” consultation since they ruled for it’s mandatory inclusion on all resource proposals and projects. It would be just like sending a bunch of illiterates to a reading camp. Our government – learning on the job! Our Prime Minister – still learning on his very first job!

  12. OK It’s not only on a bridge but an international bridge, so it is DEFINITELY FEDERAL and therefiore RCMP jurisdication

Are they allowing illegal immigrants through?

  13. Here is the most amazing part of this blockade BS.
The Hereditary Chiefs actually AGREED to a pipe line across their reserve in 2014, but wanted the route changed to a more costly northerly one, as shown in the link, and closer to towns.

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/wetsuweten-coastal-gaslink-pipeline-alternative-path-1.5464945

So the headlines and talking heads charging that they did not want pipelines on their soil is and was a complete lie all along.
The blockades and demonstrations are beating a dead horse.
The Chiefs wanted the line and now just want more extortion money to sooth their egos.

i think your new country is coming faster than you think Kate.

    1. p.s. the elaborate long head dress is NOT *native* to ALL aboriginals.
      http://www.native-languages.org/headdresses.htm

      from the link:
“When most people think of an American Indian headdress, the first image that comes to mind is a full eagle-feather warbonnet like the Lakota Sioux headdress above. But in fact, American Indians in most tribes never used feather headdresses like these.”

so, why the FCUK do I see these things in SW ontariowe? hmmm?

it’s ALL for show!!!! PROPAGANDA folks. catering to a stereotype.
and not ONE of the some 30 or 40 natives I chum around with at times ever had one. THEY know its a stereotype and will have NOTHING to do with these, these . . . . theatrics.

  14. My Canada died on June 25, 1968 . Canadians have learned nothing since and as a matter of fact have gotten worse .

    1. I wonder how many readers here get the significance of that date! But I think you’re right.
And no surprise that Justin prefers to side with hereditary power ;o)

    2. More correctly would be April 6, 1968 as that was when he was chosen as Liberal leader. The election over 2 months later was the traditional coronation.

  15. I wonder how police will react if their police station is blockaded at their shift change time by taxpayers protesting their refusal to remove protesters blockading rail lines, bridges, intersections of main commuter roads, etc.

    1. Well, according to the Grand PooBahs, the cops job is to keep the peace, not to enforce laws.

I like your idea, but, there’s one big problem. If the cops aren’t going to enforce the laws of the land, then………WHO WILL?

Neither the cops or government will do it, what’s left? Anarchy!

    1. And the only reason they have the land they are on is because they slaughtered the Hurons who owned it. Iroqouis are not hereditary at Canada at all. Mohawks are just one sixth of that confederation.

      1. After the American War of Independence, the Six Nations, who supported the British, were expelled from their lands in New York. The British Crown rewarded them for their loyalty with unsettled land in Upper Canada. Joseph Brant the leader of the Mohawk negotated a land grant that formed The Six Nations of the Grand River (the majority of which are Mohawk.) To make this grant under the Haldimand Treaty, the Crown purchased the land from the Mississaugas for 1,180 pounds on May 22, 1784. The majority of Mohawks followed Brant and settled this new area.

Another group of Mohawks led by John Deseronto selected the Bay of Quinte as their area to settle because it was thought to be the birthplace of one of the founders of the Iroquois Confederacy in the 12th Century. The Crown set aside this land on April 1, 1793 Under Crown Treaty 3 1/2. It is this group that shut down the bridge today.

The Mohawk are by far the largest group in the Six Nations. While they were frequently at war with neighbouring tribes, they did not slaughter the Huron in order to occupy their current lands. There was significant movement of indigenous people over 500 years of history and it can be very confusing trying to keep track of who is who and who lived where. Kate featured an excellent book called “Playing the Indian Card” by Stephen K. Roney a little while back.

        1. my nishnabe friend spoke briefly on the contempt and hostility towards mohawks. now I see why.

          usurpers.

    2. Okay, aren’t most of here because our ancestors were driven out by someone or some messed up circumstance?

My Scottish ancestors were forcibly exported to the colonies by the English, then again by the Americans in 1776 (loyalists) to Upper Canada.

My Irish ancestors starved by the English, left with only (green) potatoes to eat.

Sure, they are bought and paid for troublemakers, but they’re as Canadian as you and me.

      1. Then why do they call us settlers, trespassers or colonists? They hate out guts and wish we were all dead. My god what must they think of visible minorities?

  16. L-The monkey may be on extended holiday but the organ grinder is still calling the tune, both here and abroad.

Our ancestors struggled to overcome chaos, in order to create this once proud outpost of Western Civilization. The nation-state of Canada, peaceful, prosperous and free.

Justin Trudeau, aka. Mr. Dress-Up, brought with him what we thought was a tickle trunk of costumes. But it was really Pandora’s Box .

  17. Here is the moment the sock monkey will find it necessary to have the blockades removed.
The moment someone interferes with one of his photo ops.

  18. I am just waiting for him to call in the UN peacekeepers. This is all a set up to do that. He will hand Canada over to the UN as the first post-national state.

    1. I want JTF2 to heli him into a rez, so he cam mumble to some Siberians, and if he offers them money, throw him out of the chopper on the flight back. From 8 thousand feet… Just kidding, TwinkySocks..

  19. You idiot easterners elected Justin and the Libs, whatever the hell did you think would be different in the east from what they have done to the west?

Alberta says, kiss our collective arses, you’ll get no sympathy at all from us, and may you freeze in the dark.

    1. Yes! And as in justin turdeau.
Lefties already think that heredity is a good reason to choose a leader.

  20. Oh God, those twitter comments were precious. Dollars to donuts most of the people out east complaining about trudeau likely voted for him…twice! If not him then the NDP or CPC or some other commie party that would be equally ineffectual right about now at LETTING TRAFFIC GO DOWN A ROAD!! The chinese would be marching on us right now if it wasn’t for the USA (and the fact that they already own the government of Canaduh I suppose).

If Alberta (and Saskatchewan if they want) stay in this third world craphole we deserve every ounce of misery coming our way. The problem is NOT Trudeau…it’s the people that voted for him. If it wasn’t Trudeau it would be Butts or Singh or May or Scheer captaining this mess. This is too hilarious to even believe, and I am loving it! My only complaint is there aren’t more blockades going up…and shame on our proud first nations people for giving up after only three hours…blockade that bridge for 3 weeks! Come come now!

Kenney…get rid of the RCMP now! and get an actual Albertan police force going…even if you have to staff it with volunteers. Get as many federal firewalls set up immediately and lets get ready for a referendum. Soon!

“Let the eastern bastards freeze in the dark!”

  21. It’s only a matter of time before they confirm Freeland as PM while Justin leaves politics altogether. Perhaps even mere days. The liberal party’s money bags know the party under Justin is toast.

  22. Here is an idea, whenever you are at an event in which the speaker acknowledges it taking place on the traditional lands of aboriginal groups, make sure to yell out at the conclusion, “I WANT A PIPELINE!”. Let’s see what happens.

  23. She was confirmed as PM when they recreated the job of deputy-to-the-prime Minister… er… I mean deputy Prime Midgetster.

The stunt with CF trying to get access to the BC Ledg. the other day did nothing. Not sure what she was looking for.

In a time before cell phones and Trudeaus, this nonsense would’ve been met with truncheon and fire hose. I don’t think the deputy to socks n’ beard has the stones.

    1. Here is how I explained this to my kid:

Protesters from first nations (that aren’t nations), are manning the blockades, except that majority of so called first nations (that aren’t nations) support the development, except that those who are manning blockades are not from first nations (that aren’t nations) but environmentalists (mostly white) who pretend to represent first nations (that aren’t nations), except that they aren’t even environmentalists but professional protesters bankrolled by foreign oil producers who do not like Canadian competition. They are protesting against the development that our government (elected with less votes than the opposition) is pretending to want to build, but in fact would greatly prefer the first nations (that aren’t nations) protesters to make impossible and to have the supreme court veto further development. Then our government could pretend that they have done everything they could, while doing nothing and achieving the results they want in the first place.

      Did I miss anything?

What a pathetic shitshow. What a pretend country.

  24. I hope these protests move into quebekkie soon…. and hard. THEN we’ll see what the ponce is made of. I’ll bet he’s shitting his pants hoping it doesn’t happen.

It’s a watershed moment in the country.

  25. There is an Indian moron maiden with a blond streak in her hair commenting on the CBC about this pipeline business and she more than once used the term ‘genocide’ to described how her people have been treated. If I were Jewish, I would be pissed. I’m pissed anyway.

    1. That would be Pam Palmater or, as she is described by commenter Ontario John, big chief of the Ryerson tribe. Her refrain is regularly repeated on CBC.

    2. That b!#ch is akin to an ambulance-chaser. A financially-set and educated aboriginal has no use for her sort of “law”.

“Genocide”? Have that blond b!#ch talk to a Holocaust/Cambodian/Rwandan survivor sometime.

  26. And now the political panels at the Liberal Party’s CBC and CTV tonight. Police must not get involved. Indians need lots of money and free stuff. No resource development unless every Indian agrees to it. Indians must get a share of all profits made by the resource industry. Indian leaders elected by Indians should be ignored. Only hereditary monarchs should make decisions with the government. Canadians are racist bastards for saying negative things about the blockade on social media. Oh, and Justin is wonderful.

    @MaximeBernier

We are so lucky to have a leader who prioritizes solving major crises in Canada instead of travelling the world to distribute millions in foreign aid so he can get a seat at a UN talking shop!

Than you for not forgetting us mister PM!

  28. I just heard via the Project Confederation mailing list that the BQ is planning to introduce a motion to kill the Frontier mine. Now why am I not surprised? Say good-bye to Canada…..

  29. WTF is wrong with your thinking… If the SCOC tell Indians they have indigenous title to all Crown Lands in Canada…. Why would they NOT exercise that right…..If you tell Indians they are fierce and undefeatable, why would they not bring violence…

The rule of law in Canada has failed because of the slobbering/blathering of SCOC fools.. They can’t promise
indigenous Title as a false status,,, The International courts will Rule against the SCOC….

The Slobbering/blathering fools have destroyed the rule of law… A Social engineering failure in the Courts

  30. Lucien Bouchard, noted Québec separatist, was right. Canada is not a real country. Justin Trudeau, noted blackface artist and sexual harrasser was right as well. Canada is a post national country, one with no recognisable identity. And now the Wexit folks are saying the same. Only in Canada. The irony is killing me.

  31. I want the blockades to continue, the bridges to the US closed, the trains shut down, the legislatures closed by activists, no delivery of energy, chlorine or food. I want the complacent Canadians to start to hurt like Alberta is, start to freeze from the cold. The Liberals did nothing in Caledonia and are doing nothing now. As Vivian Krouse has written time and again these “activists” are bought and paid for with 3 new busloads from the US yesterday.

We will know we have hit the wall when the Nigerian and Haitian migrants coming through Roxham Road in Quebec start going back the other way.

  32. I am a long time lurker on SDA. This is my 1st post .
My question…can the people that are blocking the railways , be sued by the laidoff workers for lost wages? Can the blockers be sued by the railroads for lost revenue?

    1. nope, because it is a ‘first nations’ protest.

Besides who do you sue? Dept of Indian Affairs or whatever it’s called today.

    2. I would think that if a leader could be identified, they could be sued. Or maybe sue the government for failing to take action. The neglect by Trudeau and Ford is putting people at risk. Those opposing the blockade need to organize. No one is opposing Trudeau’s lack of action.

  33. Although I hate war, maybe this is a time for war.

The Canadian Nation should no longer allow itself to be bullied by “First Nations”, first cut off all Aid and begin Sanctions as the US does Iran.

If they want to escalate from there, we should as well.

    1. Naw, we are a nation of pansies. keyboard warriors, else this revolution or ‘war’ would have started already.

What we need is a major event, an earthquake, volcano, asteroid or something to reset this.

However Biblically speaking, this is all playing into the final chapter, we are all shouting for a ‘leader’ who will soon come on the stage with all the answers, and the multitude of brain dead people will flock to him.

      One World.

      1. The problem with natural disasters is that they don’t discriminate much at all. Plagues on the other-hand, not unlike Open Border policies attack large Liberal cesspits first and more vigorously than smaller Conservative based communities. Allowing of course more time to circle the wagons in open country as the canary’s flutter in the coal mines. Just say’n.

:…………and the multitude of brain dead people will flock to him.”

Well at least we know that Trudeau is too brain-dead to be the Antichrist. That will have to be someone bred in Europe to be sure.

      2. flocking to the great knight in shiny aluminum foil you mean?
likes dozens of times in just the previous century fer instance?

yep. Matthew 24:44 “when they least expect it”.

all hunky dory then WHAM the *final* perfect storm.
captcha behaving better these days .
