Art Of The Deal

Austin Bay;

Indignant media elites and European toffs continue to scorn President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the official name of the “Iran nuclear deal,” but they are once again missing the big news: The Trump administration has launched another “maximum pressure” foreign policy operation, this time targeting the heinous religious dictators and Al Quds terrorists commanding the Iranian regime.

The phrase “maximum pressure” applies to both Team Trump’s JCPOA withdrawal and the administration’s North Korean denuclearization operation. In early 2017, the administration began using the term to describe the combined effect of its coordinated diplomatic, information, military and economic “elements of power” strategy on the Korean peninsula.

  1. gentlemen, I think we’ve finally found our nuke deal negotiator.
    bravo PRESIDENT TRUMP.
let this all be a huge portion of your legacy well into the rest of this century.
    and thank you for that.

  2. Because sending pallets full of cash out the back of an airplane worked so well for the Obama-Nation(TM)
I think the Iranians were laughing back then:

Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif stands on the balcony of the venue for nuclear talks, Austria, July 13, 2015.

The Obama-Nation gong show that made Chamberlain look like he was prescient…yeah that was clearly going to work with the “Judenrein faction”.

Appeasement and equivocation is not foreign policy; it is a sign of intellectual flaccidity and unsound reasoning.

I’m sure all former “negotiators” will experience hysterics during this Trumptastic day.

    Prosit!

    1. Let’s not forget that O’Bummer hated America, so what better way to hasten its demise than to finance its enemies?

Of course, he denied he was a Muslim, but we need to remember the doctrine of taqiyya, lying to kafirs in order to advance the cause of Allah, even if it means disguising oneself as a Christian.

      1. He did have a slip of tongue in an interview and said “my Muslim faith.” The friendly interviewer immediately stopped him and he corrected to “my Christian faith.”
I understand he was brought up as a Muslim. But if he were now a Christian he would never have said that. Converts are more fervent in general. In the same situation, I would never say “my Buddhist faith.”

        1. Don’t forget that another doctrine is “once a Muslim, always a Muslim”. Any Muslim who leaves Islam for any reason is under a death sentence.

    2. Luckily America’s Churchill intervened early enough (hopefully, one never knows – war and inflation is progressivism’s standard bearer).

Apparently they were only trying to protect Trump and the nation when they surveilled and attempted to infiltrate his campaign (spy, schmy whos give a rat’s a**), using raw opposition research, obviously salacious and unproven as “evidence.”

Ask legal types, if this all they have, we are headed for a gong show with judges and senior law & government types running for cover, leaking on the way out. They surveilled an opposition candidate, one who most certainly threatened their careers, with what charitably would be described as concocted evidence. Judging by Comey’s latest missive, they think they’re going to get away with it.

No they’re not. The deal here is not necessarily to jail Comey et al, just if necessary.

The deal is with the American people to show them the depths of self-serving rationalization and feral collectivism these folks will go to serve themselves.

Despite that Mr Trump can point to several successes, despite the harassment of the left.

The rest is gravy. The Dems can’t keep the channel back to Trump. He just puts it back to the previous station of abuses of power by DeMarxist power mongers.

Who win will, the dealer or the schemer?

The fact they started the whole slimy ball rolling with their “confidential informant” Stefan clearly concerned for the welfare of the Republic when he bamboozled Papadopoulos into a drunken bs session. Their failure to do so is hardly mitigating.

Or is it the dossier?. Bait and switch. Gee I wonder if real estate moguls have ever tried that one before?

None of these fools get it because they’re watching a different movie, not realizing it’s reruns.

If they don’t wake up, they’re going to get cancelled.

But it’s so much easier to bleat “Impeach 45.”

  3. I’ll betcha Trump has struggled with the temptation to directly challenge Putin on some international fronts.

Not to prove that he was not colluding with Russia, but to put the massive Democrat Machine in the position where it can’t help itself but to support Putin over Trump. Amid the Dems sleazy, emotional and wholly partisan Russian conspiracy and election meddling lies, the optics would be exceptional.

Almost as fun as watching them defend MS-13 and Hamas.

    1. What do you call annihilating an entire battalion of Russian Mercenaries in Syria?

      http://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/19335/american-general-in-syria-confirms-us-forces-killed-hundreds-of-russians-in-massive-battle

They called up the Russians and asked why they were attacking our Kurdish allies and the Russians said, “Those aren’t our troops trying to capture that oil field, honest.” The Americans said, “Have it your way Ivan. They are going to get served.”

      1. God Bless the American army.
when those fellows are on the right track, fighting for the right reasons, prepped, properly briefed, coordinated with the other services, migawd. they are the BEST.
motivated, tough, well equipped with the gadgets that ferret out the bad guys, satellites, spy planes at 60,000 feet watching over the grunts, 1001 new uses for drones, on and on.
watch out. take a gander at history how many times they CLOBBERED the opposition.
migawd I am glad they are on our side.

      2. I call it, based on your article, speculation at best, though the strong horse is definitely winning.

So what, even if they messed with US forces and got wacked. Fog of war and all that jazz.

Anyway my military BS alarm went off.

From your posted article, my emphasis added:

“A senior U.S. general APPEARS TO HAVE CONFIRMED that hundreds of Russians fought – and died – in a major battle against American forces and their local counterparts in Syria”

Based on the segments of the interview that NBC has released so far, Braga does not specifically say the Russian government ordered the operation or otherwise had any direct involvement in it. He does, however, clearly say the U.S. government believes it killed a significant number of Russian nationals during the battle and unequivocally says he was concerned that the situation could have spiraled into a much more serious conflagration.”

Whatever happens, there SEEMS TO BE GROWING EVIDENCE that the two sides may already be in the midst of a low-level conflict, or least an uneasy standoff, whether they’re actively fighting each other or not.”

Yet, on multiple occasions he described the idea that Russia would have had a direct hand in the incident as “perplexing,” despite months of publicly increasing tensions between the two countries over the situation in the region, including already worrying aerial confrontations. The Russian government has, of course, denied any involvement, saying that there might have been just five “presumably Russian citizens” who died in the fighting, and deflecting accusations that it played any part in the incident with unfounded claims and conspiracy theories.”

Not very convincing imho. If Ruskies mess with our guys they lose; that’s a good thing. We know it happens.

One can hope, I guess. So far no juice. It has been over a month (sarc off).

  4. The Altering of the Deal
The purpose is to drive Persia, Turkey and Russia/China into a confederacy, just as Ezekiel 38 foretells…the beginnings of the creation of the Bear (Islammunism) spoken of in Daniel 7.

Brzezinski’s Ghost Shapes Washington Eurasia Geopolitics

Ironically, the simultaneous opening of a de facto three-front war, even if on the level of economic warfare at present, creates a strategic imperative for the three powers to work even more closely. China is the largest buyer of Iranian oil. Russia provides military equipment and is negotiating far more. Each of the triad—China, Iran, Russia—for reasons of self-survival –have no better option than to collaborate as never before, whatever mistrust or differences, in face of Washington’s geopolitical three-front war.

  5. It is high time that America stopped kissing the asses of despotic regimes …

The Obama, Clinton, Kerry foreign policy is summed up as … if we are “nice” to the bullies … they will be “nice” to us in return. Gawwwd … a foreign policy based on an elementary school teacher “code of conduct” is beyond naive … its downright asinine.

    1. Ah, but a great political sage said that if you kill your enemies, they win, or was it that if you give them enough parkas, they’ll like you.

  6. Trump doesn’t understand “Modern Diplomacy.” That stupid business man actually thinks that solving problems is the goal.

    The real goals are,
    1. Look Caring and Involved.
    2. Involve lots of useless people and the media.
    3. Travel to lots of exotic places and stay in five star hotels and eat at the finest restaurants.
    4. Slowly and carefully negotiate useless and unenforceable agreements that prolong the problem.
    5. Win prestigious awards from other ineffectual people for showing the “proper level of concern.”
    6. Build a bureaucratic empire, and increase your personal pay and privileges.
    7. Retire after twenty or more years of not solving the problem, and get a well paying gig as a TV and Journalism expert on the never ending problem of _{blank}_.

These diplomatic elites are really pissed because that buffoon Trump is breaking their rice bowls and ruining their well paid sinecures. For that crime, President Donald Trump must be destroyed!

  7. Some interesting bits of data:

Generic ballot for the fall congressional elections now for the first time has the GOP ahead.
Jobs data best in 50 years.
Real income growth happening and real disposable income arguably highest in history.
Trump’s court appointments are great and continuing.
Rumours swirling that Kennedy is going to step down and that his replacement will not be done before the elections –
making the court a HUGE issue and it is the SCOTUS that drives christian and general GOP turnout like no other.

If the GOP holds the house and grows the senate lead to possibly 56 or more, Trump becomes almost a lock to be re-elected and the rest of the world will have to deal with six more years of HIS agenda.

The implications of Trump plus GOP majority in the house and a near filibuster-proof senate majority for 6 years are boggling.

Expect the desperate opponents of his agenda to become even more desperate and thus further marginalize themselves.

  8. Maximum Pressure on trade?

Wonder how our gurl Chrystia is holding up? She came home crying after the euro trash put up resistance.

Not this time! No sir! She’s up to it …and so is her girlie boss! He’s up to……oh forget about it.

  9. Charles Krauthammer finally woke up?

This is from Charles Krauthammer who did not go for Trump, now read what he thinks of him now.

To my friends “of a different persuasion” I’m not trying to sell anything or anyone but I do feel this is an interesting take on our
very controversial president who I truly believe is not Republican or Democrat.

A different take on Donald Trump: (a non-political agenda)

Trump Is Not A Liberal or Conservative, He’s a “Pragmatist.” (Definition: A pragmatist is someone who is practical and focused on
reaching a goal. A pragmatist usually has a straightforward, matter-of-fact approach and doesn’t let emotion distract him or her.)

“We recently enjoyed a belated holiday dinner with friends at the home of other friends. The dinner conversation varied from discussions about antique glass and china to theology and politics.

At one point, reference was made to Donald Trump being a conservative, to which I responded that Trump is not a conservative.

I said that I neither view nor do I believe Trump views himself as a conservative. I stated it was my opinion that Trump is a pragmatist.

He sees a problem and understands it must be fixed. He doesn’t see the problem as liberal or conservative, he sees it only as a problem. That is a quality that should be admired and applauded, not condemned. But I get ahead of myself.

Viewing problems from a Liberal perspective has resulted in the creation of more problems, more entitlement programs, more victims, more government, more political correctness, and more attacks on the working class in all economic strata.

Viewing things according to the so-called Republican conservative perspective has brought continued spending and globalism to the detriment of American interests and well being, denial of what the real problems are, weak, ineffective, milquetoast, leadership that amounts to Barney Fife Deputy Sheriff, appeasement oriented and afraid of its own shadow. In brief, it has brought liberal ideology with a pachyderm as a mascot juxtaposed to the ass of the Democrat Party.

Immigration isn’t a Republican problem, it isn’t a Liberal problem, it is a problem that threatens the very fabric and infrastructure of
America. It demands a pragmatic approach not an approach that is intended to appease one group or another.

The impending collapse of the economy wasn’t a Liberal or Conservative problem, it is an American problem.

That said, until it is viewed as a problem that demands a common sense approach to resolution, it will never be fixed because the Democrats and Republicans know only one way to fix things and the longevity of their impracticality has proven to have no lasting effect.

Successful businessmen like Donald Trump find ways to make things work, they do not promise to accommodate.

Trump uniquely understands that China’s manipulation of currency is not a Republican problem or a Democrat problem. It is a problem that threatens our financial stability and he understands the proper balance needed to fix it. Here again, successful businessmen, like Trump, who have weathered the changing tides of economic reality understand what is necessary to make business work, and they, unlike both sides of the political aisle, know that if something doesn’t work, you don’t continue trying
to make it work hoping that at some point it will.

As a pragmatist, Donald Trump hasn’t made wild pie-in-the-sky promises of a cell phone in every pocket, free college tuition, and a
$15 hour minimum wage for working the drive-through at Carl’s Hamburgers.

I argue that America needs pragmatists because pragmatists see a problem and find ways to fix them. They do not see a problem and compound it by creating more problems.

You may not like Donald Trump, but I suspect that the reason some people do not like him is because:

    (1) he is antithetical to the “good old boy” method of brokering backroom deals that fatten the coffers of politicians;

    (2) they are unaccustomed to hearing a president speak who is unencumbered by the financial shackles of those who he owes vis-a-vis
    donations;

    (3) he is someone who is free of idiomatic political ideology;

    (4) He says what he is thinking, is unapologetic for his outspoken thoughts, speaks very straightforward using everyday language that can be understood by all (and is offensive to some who dislike him anyway) making him a great communicator, for the most part, does what he says he will do and;

    (5) he is someone who understands that it takes more than hollow promises and political correctness to make America great again.

Listening to Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders talk about fixing America is like listening to two lunatics trying to “out crazy” one
    another.

Jeb Bush, John Kasich and Marco Rubio are owned lock, stock, and barrel by the bankers, corporations, and big dollar donors funding their campaigns. Bush can deny it, but common sense tells anyone willing to face facts is that people don’t give tens of millions without expecting something in return.

We have had Democrats and Republican ideologues and what has it brought us?

Are we better off today or worse off? Has it happened overnight or has it been a steady decline brought on by both parties?

I submit that a pragmatist is just what America needs right now. People are quick to confuse and despise confidence as arrogance, but that is common among those who have never accomplished anything in their lives (or politicians who never really solved a problem, because it’s better to still have an “issue(s) to be solved,” so re-elect me to solve it, (which never happens) and those who have always played it safe (again, all politicians) not willing to risk failure, to try and achieve success).

    Donald Trump put his total financial empire at risk in running for president and certainly did not need or even want the job;
    that says it all.

He wants success for the U.S. and her citizens because he loves his country.

    1. “Immigration isn’t a Republican problem, it isn’t a Liberal problem, it is a problem that threatens the very fabric and infrastructure of America.”

Immigration is NOT a problem, but a solution.

More immigration means lower rate of crime and substance abuse, higher SAT scores, more traffic safety, higher property values — to name a few.

      1. Legal? Or Illegal?.
Or was it your intention to deliberately miss that distinction?
Or are you arguing that illegally entering a country is lowering crime?
