    1. The closing paragraph of the article …

California has experienced increasingly larger and deadlier wildfires in recent years as climate change has made the West much warmer and drier over the past 30 years. Scientists have said weather will continue to be more extreme and wildfires more frequent, destructive and unpredictable

The only thing that is predictable is the Global Warming preaching … even when providing evidence to the contrary. Also missing was motive. Which can only mean the obvious.

    1. Stepan Bandera and Ukrainian Nazis happily worked hand in hand with Einsatzgruppen when Germany invaded the USSR. Murdering Jews to prevent Jewish kids being born. Rumor has it they are still active in the Ukraine and Bandera is a hero to them. I’m glad to see you recognize the good guys. BIOYA Howard.

      1. Nothing like an irrelevant , out of context comment to deflect from the actual genocide happening in front of your eyes. By deflecting and laying smoke screen you’re complicit.

Also you probably have never bothered to look at Bandera beyond some headlines that suited your POV.

        1. “Nothing like an irrelevant , out of context comment to deflect from the actual genocide happening in front of your eyes.”

          What ‘genocide’? Where?

Get a grip. And, as always, LOOK UP THE DEFINITION of the word. Stop embarrassing yourself.

Here, I’ll even do it for you *just one more time*:

“Article Two of the convention defines genocide as “any of the following acts committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such”

          The Holocaust=genocide
          Rwanda-genocide
          Bosnia=genocide
          The Holodomor=genocide

All of them attempts to destroy an entire ethnic, political or tribal group. To ENTIRELY wipe them from the face of the earth.

This? This is NOT EVEN CLOSE.

          1. “Article Two of the convention defines genocide as “any of the following acts committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such”

That is exactly what orcs are trying to do. Claiming that they doing something else, does not change that they are doing exactly that. Mass deportations, gulag, child kidnappings and russification, torture/sterilization/castration of Ukrainian civilians and POWs, elimination of Ukrainian elites in occupied territories, widespread denial of Ukrainian nationhood, mass destruction of Ukrainian cultural and historical artifacts. Yes, this is genocide by your own definition. This is happening right now. You know this is happening. You are cynically lying that it is not.

          2. “To ENTIRELY wipe them from the face of the earth.”

Meanwhile your own quote says: “IN WHOLE OR IN PART”

“IN PART”, do you understand what “IN PART” means? It means opposite to “ENTIRELLY” you utterly worthless, soulless, cynical, pathetic demagogue, piece of dog shit.

      2. A curve ball for Thomas and Friends: did you know that Bandera’s two brothers died in Auschwitz? Go on square that circle.

      3. Coincidently, if you actually bothered to watch your video to the end you would have learned that General Wladislaw Anders helped prevent their deportation to Stalin’s extermination camps. But of course who is Anders when compared to your wisdom and integrity?

    1. Rybar claims these are unarmed Russians! LMAO

Even of they are unarmed, anyone wearing military gear in an active war is a target unless they are surrendering.

      1. “Even of they are unarmed, anyone wearing military gear in an active war is a target unless they are surrendering.”

        Keep moving those goalposts, Allan.

      2. Defenders were armed, they don’t need to be physically holding a riffle to be considered armed if they are enemy soldiers in the middle of a combat zone contesting a military installation. Being shell-shocked or panicking does not make them ineligible for a bullet either. None was surrendering, end of story.

  1. In Junior High … in 1968 … I dreamed of getting my first car at age 16, along with my drivers license, and getting an 8- track deck mounted under the dash of my pre-1965 car that was all my parents could ever afford. By the time I got my first car … 8-track was dead and dying … and so a cassette deck was mounted under my dash … and I could blast CTA all around the neighborhood. Technology has changed at the speed of sound in my lifetime.

    1. Kenji,
I had an 8-track player in my first car, a 1968 Ford Galaxy which I purchased for $100 in 1976. The car was rusted, the suspension was shot, but maaaaaan, I loved cruising down the main drag in the summer with the Beach Boys playing at full volume.

    1. They’re saints, and you know it!!!!!! And this country will never survive unless we grant unlimited immigration policies for them. /S

    2. I am reading “The Story of Russia” by Orlando Figes. Since the mid-500’s (during the “dark ages”), Russia, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine and Russia have been having territorial fights with Sweden getting into the mix during the early 1700’s. This current fight is because Zelensky is a major “asshole” and has been taunting the Russians for a very long time. I truly can see the Russians saying “Oh F*** it! and doing a limited nuclear strike”
As well, the Ukrainians were major “assholes” during World War II (as payback for the Holdomor starvation campaign by Stalin). They were busy rounding up Jewish citizens and machine gunning them into trenches. Then they provided the majority of the concentration camp guards for the Germans. It has been a long time coming, but this is divine retribution for their actions over 70 years ago.

        1. Yes, planned by the USA and its leftist driven leaders. OBumblehead should have been aborted and at least a few of their problems would have disappeared.

        2. Valid point, most Pootin simps have no idea what happened to Ukrainian political landscape between 2014 and 2019. They prefer to be ignorant that way and act as if
          Zelensky assumed power in 2014.

      1. I would suggest better reading, for context of current events like:
        “Bloodlands” by Timothy Snyder
Relevant chapters from “God’s Playground” by Norman Davies
“Russia under the Old Regime” by Richard Pipes
“Vova, Volodia, Vladimir” by Krystyna Kurczab-Redlich (if this has ever been translated into English, the book is prohibited in Pootnistan).
But I doubt you will reach for those as you have a sympathetic view towards Pootin’s genocidal campaign.

“Then they provided the majority of the concentration camp guards for the Germans. ”

I’d like to see a proof for that majority.

  2. I am happy to say I never bought an 8 track player or tape. Horrible format. Used a tonne of blank cassettes, however.

    1. I had an 8 track in my 1976 455 Trans Am. Willie Nelson and Linda Ronstadt wore it out. Those were the days before they started emasculating cars and men.

      1. I drove a 1967 Chev Belair with a 283 V-8 and a rocking 8-track with 2 tapes – Led Zeppelin and Boz Scaggs. I played them so often the tape would break. I learned how to open the case, splice the tape and put the case back together. I bought some 6×9 speakers and built wood boxes for the rear window. The looks of disapproval…

      2. I had a car, forget which one, that came with an 8 track and quickly swapped it out for a cassette player that played albums the way the artists and producers meant them to play. (Hated when 8 tracks changed tracks mid song and the songs were put on the tape in a different order).
In the early 70s, I was fortunate (or not) to work for Sam the Record Man in Toronto at the tape store down the block. It soon became apparent, due to fracked 8 track tapes being returned on a daily basis and cassettes never, which format was superior.

        1. Both 8-tracks (in my friends cars) AND cassettes were eaten routinely by my cassette players … before I could afford my first Blaupunkt

  3. Explosive Globe and Mail story — by Fife, Chase and Curry — saying Dominic Barton’s McKinsey consulting pitched a plan to Purdue Pharma Canada to vastly increase opiod consumption in Canada:
    https://www.theglobeandmail.com/politics/article-mckinsey-opioid-lawsuit-purdue-pharma/

In the article the writers explain that Trudeau’s Liberal government has given McKinsey research nearly $100-million in contract work after 2014. Note that Dominc Barton was CEO of McKinsey until 2019, when Trudeau hand-picked the pro-China Barton to become ambassador to China. In 2015 Trudeau hand-picked Barton to give economic advice to the Liberal government. McKinsey loves opiods, but 20 Canadians are dying every day from opiod overdoses.

Need SDAer help to free the paywalled link.

    1. So what … they produced something that made people feel really good and addicted them to it. Just like every Pot grower and dispensary in our nations. Meh. Why is the government in the business of picking winners and losers in the mind altering business?

Stop pretending the Pot Industrial complex isn’t part of Big Pharma

  4. Four years later, riding public transit is…. not like it used to be.

“With employment edging up in April 2023, ridership recovered to 75.5% of pre-pandemic levels from April 2019. However, there were 38.5 million fewer passenger trips in April 2023 compared with the same month in 2019.”

And those statistics ignore the large increase in population over the last four years (close to 2 million – as a result of immigration).

  6. Orgánica is Spanish for grown in people 5h1t.

    https://wltreport.com/2023/06/18/red-alert-frozen-strawberries-contaminated-with-sexually-transmitted-disease-recalled/

Canada recalled the same in May (30th) 2022.
“These imported FreshKampo brand fresh organic strawberries were purchased between March 5 and 9, 2022 at Co-op stores in Alberta and Saskatchewan and are no longer available for purchase in Canada.”

Well, if you’re still buying frozen organic strawberries you might need a check up from the neck up.

    1. Seeing now, Canada doesn’t know yet whether there will be a recall there or not.

      https://globalnews.ca/news/9626824/hepatitis-a-outbreak-us-frozen-strawberries-canada/

      But I gleaned this:
“The FDA, which continues its investigation, says the current strain of hepatitis A virus causing illnesses is “genetically identical” to the strain that caused the outbreak last year.”

Same strawberries growing in the same field in the same 5h1t from the same people who obviously have had to bear no consequences for their filthy product. Might as well sell fentanyl ’cause same – same.
