Organizations, in the rush to be accepted by Special interest groups, have abandoned their reason for existence.
Instead of raising educational standards, they place their emphasis on placating the vocal “disturbance”.
Doesn’t work in a classroom, nor in a Professional Organization.
The purpose of the various teacher unions isn’t to provide good education, it’s to ensure it’s members get paid the most amount of money for the least amount of work… just like every other union.

The union doesn’t exist to protect or serve the interests of the members (though in many cases that may have been for some organizers and was for most of the members who fell for it, a sincere belief.) The members are enlisted to fund and otherwise support the political aims of the union’s leaders.
It’s also to protect predators. But then good lawyers can protect private school predators as well.
