Stick: Infinite annual “booster” jabs, threat of re-defining “fully” vaccinated, allowing private businesses to impose their own vaccine passports, keeping the disgusting QR codes for human beings “to help” the federal government with travel restrictions, and basing freedom (allegedly) on the mismanagement of the provincial health care system.

Also, I didn’t hear anything about the province of Alberta ceasing their Covidjihad against Christian pastors. What is so difficult, Premier Jason Kenney, about keeping yours and your army of repulsive AHS bureaucrats grubby, disgusting tyrannical hands off of Christian pastors?

He thinks we are all stupid. He’s laughing at all of us. Well, we’ll see who laugh lasts. My shekels are on the truckers.

  1. They’re keeping QR codes because QR codes are what it was all about from the start. It is not about Wuhan Flu it is about Social Credit Score.

    At this point I wonder: who is dumber, Kenny or Douggie?

      He doesn’t even UNDERSTAND what the Canadians protesting to END ALL MANDATES (starting with vax passports) are going to eventually achieve with wider sweeping blockades.

  5. Im totally behind the truckers and, frankly, this is the first time Ive been proud of my country for something other than sports in many years.

    But…we have to learn to take a win.

    Kenney had previously announced that measures would end by the end of March and now the vaccine passport is gone in 3.5 hours. The masks are gone at the same very second that the Sask masks are gone. This is down to the truckers, indirectly and specifically due to an uprising by rural MLAs.

    Learn to take the win.

    In order to fly to the USA I need the QR code. Thats not Alberta, thats the USA. It would be quite a bad idea to dump the QR codes now. Yes, we live in a world with QR codes. Until the flight requirements are gone, we need them. And if you thought that a conservative premier was going to interfere in a private business’s choice (if there are any businesses this dumb) to have their own vaccine passport, then you arent a conservative, or at least a fiscal conservative.

    This post gets all excited about some of the answers to reporters’ questions. They were logical answers where Kenney refused to take the reporters’ bait.

      I’m not proud of my country at all. Matter of fact, I’m quite embarrassed of it. It’s being run into the ground by a spineless, nutless soi boy with nice harrrr supported by a bunch of Laurentian Elites who have about as firm a grasp of common dog-fuck as Tick Tick Trudles does of fiduciary policy. Which, needless to say, is none. His stupidity is closely mirrored by 13 sheep, cucks of the finest quality, who will jump through hoops in the hope that he will consider them worthy.

      I am proud of some of my fellow countrymen, those who are standing up to the fascism & tyranny dictated by these 14 so-called “leaders”.

      As to your claim of a “win” I guess your definition & mine are light years apart. Mine means, “Woohoo! We can put this entire sad chapter behind us!” Yours appears to be some dystopic Stockholm Syndrome where you get excited because the daily beatings are only going to be 99 strokes of the staff, instead of 100. To some, that’s considered progress.

      Funny, in this world of QR codes, I’ve manged to live my entire life without ever using one. Curious, that. And, your rationale for keeping them benefits the very few, all the while causing concern for the great many.

      As to your observation about what a conservative gov’t would & wouldn’t do, my first query is, what conservative gov’t? In Alberta? Haven’t had one of those in years. Certainly not in this century. Surely you’re not referencing the Liar Kenney and his crew of mostly commie miscreants? And, even if you are, said lying premiere has been interfering in private businesses ever since he demanded that they all become mask & vaxxport enforcers at his behest. Why would he be hesitant now?

  6. And let’s not forget the amendments to the public health regulations that let any MLA act against any constituent using the code as pretext without any intervention or control by assembly. Yes, it is not rumor, but actual regulation. So no, Kenney didn’t do nearly enough. This is just another bait and switch.

    Here is a comment about that regulation, in case Albertans have forgotten. – it was called Bill 10.

    “Bill 10 gives one single Minister the power to unilaterally make new laws and offences for the entire province,” stated Jay Cameron, Litigation Director for the Justice Centre.

    Incredibly, the bill provides unprecedented powers to any government minister at the stroke of a pen. The passing of the bill means that under the Alberta Public Health Act, MLA’s can create, implement and enforce news laws–without the law being approved by the Legislative Assembly of Alberta.

    Yes, without debate, any provincial minister can , under the Alberta Public Health Act, create and enforce any law they desire without having to have it argued in the House or being put to a vote. But remember, Alberta, this is for your protection.

    1. This government is illegitimate. Simply ignore them. Last time I checked, none of us in the Western world ever did consent to having a “Health Minister” or “Health Secretary” installed as an absolute executive monarch.

    A win is elimination of all restrictions, and enshrining into law that it never happens again.

    This is not a win in any sense of the word.

    A win will be kicking Kenneys corrupt ass to the curb and any MLA who does not disavow him.

    I knew that leaving the socialist UK in the 1970’s to come here was the right decision, especially when the Saskatchewan farmer and his wife sitting next to me in the plane introduced themselves and shook my hand and said welcome to Canada.

    I’ve never looked back on that decision and I am a thankful to be Canadian. Baby Trudeau is just a blip in history as far as I’m concerned unlike his father who was a real bump in history,

  16. If you want any proof that the ‘restrictions’ are just mix and match with no scientific backing you just have to compare and contrast which carrot and sticks are being given out throughout the world.

    Here in my little part of it we are still expected to wear masks in ‘public locations’ (cafes, stores, venues). My Day Job is currently in a ‘Masks Are Important Thou Shall Mask’ thing since the start of the Omicron (after letting us do more or less what we liked all through Prime and Delta).

    However I am not currently even sure QR is still a thing. I work in a Tech Park type government location and late last year QR codes appeared at each entryway. My reaction was ‘We work here, you KNOW we work here. The public are not allowed here without notice. Piss off’.

    (also I never even installed the ap. If in doubt just leave your phone in the car. No law about always carrying your phone. If push comes to shove just fill in the paper form using your ‘neatest’ hand writing)

    Then a few weeks ago all the signs disappeared and eventually discovered that the government no longer saw a need for QR at our work. Because I like to claim ignorance with a straight face I avoid checking the current restriction updates but also noticed that some of the local grocery stores I use are now also both QR sign and log book free.

    My point – before I start to ramble too long – is that there is clearly no consistent approach ANYWHERE. Why is QR more important than Masks in some places? Why can you go maskless provided you have Jabs, but travel elsewhere and are masked up but vax is a choice?

    Why? Cause it is all made up by over paid admin assistants sitting in comfy government office jobs who were finally given some real responsibility and are going to milk every last drop, gruddammit.

    Farce.

    1. Actually, the whole vaccine passport was a joke to begin with. It’s pretty easy to fake a “test” result.

  17. All I heard in Kenny’s announcement was his admission that the passports were never about safety and always about forcing compliance. Justification for dropping passports was that Alberta’s vax rate had been frozen for weeks anyhow so they weren’t useful anymore.
