In the pages of The BMJ a decade ago, in the middle of a different pandemic, it came to light that governments around the world had spent billions stockpiling antivirals for influenza that had not been shown to reduce the risk of complications, hospital admissions, or death. The majority of trials that underpinned regulatory approval and government stockpiling of oseltamivir (Tamiflu) were sponsored by the manufacturer; most were unpublished, those that were published were ghostwritten by writers paid by the manufacturer, the people listed as principal authors lacked access to the raw data, and academics who requested access to the data for independent analysis were denied.
The Tamiflu saga heralded a decade of unprecedented attention to the importance of sharing clinical trial data. Public battles for drug company data, transparency campaigns with thousands of signatures, strengthened journal data sharing requirements, explicit commitments from companies to share data, new data access website portals, and landmark transparency policies from medicines regulators all promised a new era in data transparency.
Progress was made, but clearly not enough. The errors of the last pandemic are being repeated. Memories are short. Today, despite the global rollout of covid-19 vaccines and treatments, the anonymised participant level data underlying the trials for these new products remain inaccessible to doctors, researchers, and the public—and are likely to remain that way for years to come.This is morally indefensible for all trials, but especially for those involving major public health interventions.
Pfizer’s pivotal covid vaccine trial was funded by the company and designed, run, analysed, and authored by Pfizer employees. The company and the contract research organisations that carried out the trial hold all the data. And Pfizer has indicated that it will not begin entertaining requests for trial data until May 2025, 24 months after the primary study completion date, which is listed on ClinicalTrials.gov as 15 May 2023 (NCT04368728).
The lack of access to data is consistent across vaccine manufacturers. Moderna says data “may be available … with publication of the final study results in 2022.” Datasets will be available “upon request and subject to review once the trial is complete,” which has an estimated primary completion date of 27 October 2022 (NCT04470427).
As of 31 December 2021, AstraZeneca may be ready to entertain requests for data from several of its large phase III trials. But actually obtaining data could be slow going. As its website explains, “timelines vary per request and can take up to a year upon full submission of the request.”
Underlying data for covid-19 therapeutics are similarly hard to find.

Tangentially related: Saskatchewan’s new cases by vaccination status numbers are back up at SaskHealth. I’m told the problems with cleaning up this database aren’t completely resolved, but the latest information should be accurate.
January 20th: “Of the 1,158 new cases reported today, 221 were unvaccinated or fewer than 21 days after their first dose, 57 had received their first dose or were less than 21 days from their second dose, 637 were fully vaccinated (more than 14 days since their second dose) and 243 were fully vaccinated and more than 14 days from receiving their booster dose”.
Well, that’s more like it. And as suspected, the trends defy the narrative that vaccine passports are necessary to slow transmission of the virus. This outrageous policy of scapegoating citizens, many of whom have naturally acquired immunity, must go and soon, because the passport policy picks winners and losers. Locally owned restaurants, bars and gyms are once again paying the price while big box chains like Costco carry on business as usual. And for no measurable benefit. That’s simply unsustainable.

(and remember the Pinto – relative to other vehicles in the same size and price range – was actually ‘safer’ than average. The point was that Ford determined that they could reduce risks with some re-designing, but concluded it would be more cost effective – even allowing for lawsuits – to wait until the next major upgrade rather than implementing them straight away in the current production run. It wasn’t that the Pinto was statistically murdering people, it was that Ford realised they could reduce risks and decided not to. That is what they got shamed for. And to be honest as an engineering professional I don’t have a major issue with that. We are responsible ethically, morally and technically for the work we do.)

It is hard to keep up with the public health clown show, particularly in BC.
In the last week or so BC have given up on PCR testing and contact tracing, they apparently realised that recording the sniffles looks really bad. Closures of gyms were relaxed (because owners were ignoring the public health order and govt did not want to embarassed). The BC Health Minister Adrian Dix thought he was a tough guy and fired a bunch of nurses who refused the experimental gene therapy-result chaos with closures of many rural health clinics as they re-assign staff to hospitals in a panic. The panic is not over, because innoculated staff who had the sniffles stayed home in large numbers, in line with PH guidelines , the situation became acute in many hospitals not because there are large numbers of patients but because there are not enough nurses to cover the shifts. Result-an announcement that hospital staff could return as soon as they feel well, suddenly isolation is no longer necessary. Amongst all the fun-and -games BC Health announce they will close a large maternity dept, a couple of days of protests and the closure is rescinded. The clown show continues, BC CDC quietly change guidance re isolation after covid22 without announcing it, they are so embarassed they might have to admit that covid22 is in fact the sniffles. NDP-NFG is on the run they know they have f*cked up, killed hundreds of old folk in their concentration camps, wasted a huge amount of money and permanently damaged the economy.

As of July 9, they found 559 VAERS reports of myocarditis, 97 among children ages 12–15. Some of them may have been related to COVID itself, which can also cause heart problems, but there were too many cases to dismiss the likelihood the vaccines were involved, according to the authors.
“Within 8 weeks of the public offering of COVID-19 products to the 12–15-year-old age group, we found 19 times the expected number of myocarditis cases in the vaccination volunteers over background myocarditis rates for this age group,” the paper said…

The FLCCC’s website includes a section on “Defeat the Mandates”. This includes 4 different signs that may be downloaded and printed. Obviously, it would be pointless to download and print an 8.5 by 11 sign. But I don’t see why you can’t download the image and upload to Staples et al. to print the sign on larger stock. Maybe someone can advise.
Problem with Ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine is you can’t obtain it no way, no how.
It is being actively sought out by the authorities and treated like illegal drugs.
It has been yanked from all stores here in Canaduh and if brought in to the country via shipping it is confiscated.
It is disgusting, legitimate use in animal husbandry and for human consumption is being quietly banned.
Animals and humans are suffering due to this malevolent action taken .
Until you deal with that problem, we need to use other cures not openly advertised.
