Apologies if this is not the right place to post this, but I thought it was important enough whereby if enough Canadians sign the petition, we may just succeed in waking people up to what is taking place in this country.

The high volume of complaints is affecting their (CBSC) technical capacities so they’ve simply stopped accepting them…….
I only ever signed one petition on Change. I was inundated afterwards with requests to sign for causes I was strongly opposed to.
I watched the glider landings with interest since I have over 4,000 glider landings in my log book(s). The cross-wind one was interesting, but the others were relatively routine. My scariest landing was in the mountains, with the wind gusting 50kts. Those conditions give rise to a phenomenon called ‘the Rotor’, basically a horizontal vortex caused by winds rolling off the mountains. On that landing, as I was turning from downwind to base, I hit the rotor at around 300ft above ground – it flipped me upside down!! I was flying a heavy two-seater that is aerobatic rated, so I had powerful ailerons which got me back upright less than 100ft above the runway. The landing was normal.
As for the lamps made from bread: I make lamps from empty Single Malt Whisky bottles. Each to his own, I guess.
