    1. I binge-watched it earlier this year. Very entertaining … and Caleb Cooper stole the show. A shitload better than the lame BBC replacement of the “offensive” Top Gear.

      1. Yep, once the great trio left Top Gear, the show became unwatchable. Grand Tour on Prime is way better.

      2. Caleb is great. Gerald is hilarious. I like how his wife can speak English and he can also speak English*.

    2. I can’t imagine the Midwestern farmers I know would think this guy is anything but an idiot. At least in that bit we saw. And I’d agree.

  1. I was thinking it was a rather small tractor. The front wheels are tiny and there are only two of them.

I will forward to my grain farming father in law (retired). Thanks Kate and Nold.

  2. BTW … in the end, that tractor is NOT too big … and actually gets a LOT of shit done.

As an aside … I binge watched the show while babysitting my spectacularly beautiful and smart 18 mo. old grandson. And we Discovered Twenty Trucks music videos for kids!

Drop in at 1:47 and listen to No.1 … The Excavator. OMG! These TRUCK videos are so well done. My little g’son sings and dances to every one of these TRUCK videos … he’s obsessed. “This is the work I really love, cause that’s what an excavator doesn’t”

For some reason, I don’t think Justin Trudeau’s children ever watched videos about TRUCKS … nope … probably just Sesame Street and the newest transvestite character.

    1. Neat. Very well done. I wasn’t aware of those. But: there are 16 thousand thumbs-ups in response. And 7.9 thousand thumbs-downs. How can that many idiots not like these? Let me guess: they’re flaunting “toxic masculinity.” And teaching children (boys AND girls) to love machines that run on fossil fuels. The horror!

      1. My wife and I are relearning kids stuff now with our first and only grandchild. My daughter and son in law are raising him to be all-BOY and will teach him to be a man. But we’ve had to suffer through quite a few really odd, poofter, kids entertainers … such as Blippi And OMG! The Wiggles … can’t. get. away. from. the. Wiggles.

We were happy to find Twenty Trucks … their tunes are well crafted and the lyrics really informational (and humorous). Yep. Teaching my grandkids to LOVE big diesel machines! Raw power, engineering, and utility.

  3. I can’t say enough about this show, it was fantastic. On episode two I told my wife we are selling everything and becoming farmers. By episode four I took it all back. Jeremy Clarkson is excellent at this stuff, I like how he is so anti-PC.

  4. Watched the first two episodes last night. Thoroughly entertaining and eye-opening for urbanites, if they should choose to watch.

  5. On Saturday afternoon August 7th we were driving north out of Toronto on the 404 in a downpour ….couldn’t help noticing a banana yellow 4-door sedan with oddly ugly lines, so I drove up behind it and saw it was a Lamborghini. Had no idea they even made a 4-door sedan. Anyway, it exited off the 404 and we kept going northbound.

Then about 5 minutes later we saw an orange colored 2-door sizzling hot sports car …managed to get behind it and confirm that it too was a Lamborghini.

Had never before seen a Lambo on the road, only at car shows …and then we saw two within 10 minutes of each other!

    What are the chances?!

    1. Sorry a four door sedan Lamborghini sedan? Such a thing does not exist. They have an SUV, the Uros, but they do not have a sedan. BTW drive around Oakville, especially south of QEW on a weekend afternoon, a car spotting paradise. You’ll see everything from classics to modern hypercars.

    2. Couple of years back I was stopped at some traffic lights and realised I could hear an engine noise out my open window. Looked right – nothing. Left – nothing. Down Right – there was a Lamborghini.
      Cool.
      Nice car.
Anyway I was driving a 2L Ford turbo diesel and once you got past the half second turbo lag those cars actually accelerated pretty solidly because of all the torque.
So lights turn green and I just got the revs into the sweet spot and pulled away. Lasted about 3 seconds before the other driver realised I was being a smart arse and just floored it.
I mean neither of us went past 60kph but I had my fun for a few seconds 😀

  6. What!?
No glow plugs to heat up first??
You just turn a key and it starts!?
What the hey is this newfangled stuff
And it has a cab and everything
You’ll miss the bright and refreshing minus 40 prairie sunrise, as you’re hooking up the spreader
    That’s not a tractor
    That’s a luxury conveyance
That just so happens you can hook some useful stuff onto
Wonder where the belt pulley is on that thing

  7. BTW that particular Lamborghini tractor is actually made by SAME Deutz-Fahr who are licensed to use the name. Lamborghini quit making ag tractors some time ago.
