      2. Sadly, that is exactly what I have heard from vaxed who ended up with Covid. Also, no one seems to question that Pfizer is pushing boosters when it’s discovered that their first two doses don’t work as well as expected. How many “boosters” will be enough?

  9. And they were running around DC, largely unmasked, before the positive tests started showing up. Kamala Harris met with them, which means she had staff with her as well as her security detail. They roamed all over Capitol Hill, meeting with various politicians and doing photo ops and a press conference. Most of them are staying in one hotel, but that means there’s more than one hotel involved. I’m sure they were visiting various bars and restaurants too.

    All that to say that this stunt means a whole bunch of people, from politicians to low-paid hotel staff and people in between, will have to be tested and some will quite likely have to quarantine. Of course, this means they get to stay in DC longer but I doubt the celebratory/aren’t we awesome/I’m washing my scivvies in the sink tweets are going to be posted as much.

    From what I’ve read, Beto O’Rourke’s PAC is footing the bill for this stunt.

  11. One has to be careful with giving “V for Victory” sign – remember that Churchill usually gave it while holding his cigar, which gives you the appropriate finger orientation for that

    Notice in that photo above that the woman on the front right seat is giving you the Commonwealth “Two to the Valley” sign – which is equivalent to your single finger salute

Ian, FYI, I escaped the UK almost forty years ago, and just to enlighten, the two finger salute palm facing, means victory, the two finger salute knuckles facing is the UK version of flipping the bird. I really don’t know why it’s one middle finger in north America, and two fingers spread apart in the UK. Perhaps due to looser morals, and “looser” females.

  13. Three weeks ago, my aunt and uncle texted the family a similar photo of themselves (masked, of course) with the “V” for victory, or peace, or up your bum, or whatever sign. Pfizer first, they said. Then Moderna. After 16 months and two different mRNA jabs, they are now ready for the family to get together. I told my husband we will NOT be getting together with my family because we will not be the unjabbed scapegoats if (and when) they get Wu Flu.

    1. O K , how could you possibly be a scapegoat when it is a well known fact that those who have taken the not-vaccines can get and spread the whu who flu all by themselves, no help needed from the unvaxxed.

  14. Everyone needs to focus on the real problem, and stop being distracted by irrelevant details.

    The problem isn’t Democrats, doing Democrat things.

    The problem is the Texans who are going to reelect all of them.

    1. “Those” Texans are the Democrat majorities in/around Dallas-Ft. Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston.

      As is the case in many states (California and Oregon are two good examples) it’s only the large metropolitan areas that are Blue. The rest of the state is Red. And the way the Blue cities are all going to hell is excellent proof of what Democrat control does.
