  1. We decided to get vaccinated understanding there could be risks because the ability to do the things that makes life worth living were dependent on reaching certain thresholds of vaccinations. While I do respect the right of individuals to choose differently I do believe it is immoral for the unvaccinated to turn around and enjoy all those activities that are only possible because of those who got vaccinated. They avoid the risk of vaccinations but expect to enjoy the benefits.

    4. Unrealistic to expect that those unwilling to be lab rats for an untested vaccine in longterm capacity should be punished for not doing so. Health is a very personal matter and how we choose to care for ourselves should be a personal matter and not dictated by government or media. As an example we know for sure that smoking causes various forms of cancer and lung disease and yet smoking is legal. In fact there was a time where smoking was encouraged and even prescribed by doctors. Smoking was once allowed on planes for reasons none of us could argue as a good idea today… It took decades for the evidence (AKA long term studies) and data was available to show how wrong they were. Even at that we allow people to continue to smoke as it is a personal choice to their health. Regulations were slowly put in place to discourage smoking and only a handful of years ago did it become against the law to smoke in a vehicle containing a child. Second hand smoke is also an issue but easy enough now to avoid by our own choices. As it would go of course various recreational drugs and alcohol are also legal and regulated as best as can be. The use of those things are a choice and we can choose to partake or not to partake with the knowledge of the risks and long term impacts to our health.

      So your argument is mute… you would say that someone who chooses not to get vaccinated should not be allowed to attend a concert/bar/club/restaurant where alcohol or smoking is legal. We should punish those for not participating in a drug trial with no long term study but embrace those who join the drug trial but drink themselves under the table and maybe decide to drive home possibly killing someone along the way… or smoke on the patio like a chimney while it blows into the faces of those who would rather not be exposed to the harms of second hand exposure… or kill their brain cells and put others at risk while in a drug induced state. The logic just isn’t there.

      We cannot and should not segregate based on age, race, gender, religion or various other health issues and disabilities (HIV/AIDS, paraplegic, autoimmune, cancer, diabetes, birth defects etc) so how is segregation based on vaccination even remotely logical? It isn’t.

      1. You miss the point. The unvaccinated can only attend the venues you listed because others got vaccinated. If they had not, those venues would remain closed.

            Evidence shows the vaccines are working as case counts have plummeted where vaccinations rates are high. Yes it is reasonable to debate the extent to which lock downs are/were necessary but the course of action that was chosen is to restrict activities until certain levels of vaccination and case counts are obtained. What should be clearly obvious though is that as vaccination rates go up, case counts go down.

            Shutting down society or the segregation of people based on vaccination status are decisions made by people. You act as though they are absolutes from on high. Why use 70%? The feds say 75%. Several months ago they said 80%. What if Saskatchewan is stuck at 69%? Do we stay closed indefinitely? I have no issue with people holding different standards but I do take issue with those advocating totalitarianism and suspension of civil liberties to coerse the public into making a specific health care decision.

          The “unvaccinated” as you call them should get to attend venues because they have paid to and because they are not sick, as are the “vaccinated” who have paid to and are not sick. Freedom of assembly or association is not for a Government to give or take. It’s ours already. And I’m already paying for a healthcare system, so I don’t get the free rider thing.

It is likely one will need some sort of vaccination certification to travel internationally (which is nothing new where some countries required certification for certain diseases) but that would be voluntary. As for domestic I never said that the unvaccinated should be excluded from public places by law or required to carry a vaccination passport. My point is simply that the unvaccinated ignore the fact that they have the ability to resume many activities only because of those who chose to get vaccinated.

          Then there’s the issue of substantial numbers of unvaccinated people being physically harmed by being in close proximity to recently vaccinated people. Vaccinated people are a bigger threat to the unvaccinated than vice versa.

    5. @ CW That’s nonsense. Many people have natural immunity — about 80% as we know from the Diamond Princess numbers. Only 1% of people died, and most did not get sick. We have T-cells immunity, as well as antibodies from either exposure to Covid or similar viruses. We are being prevented from enjoying a normal life because of government tyrannical policies — not because some people choose not to get vaccinated. There is now a sad attempt to blame the unvaccinated for the lockdowns. The government is attempting to blackmail people into taking an experimental vaccine.       The death rate from SARS-COV-1 (COVID-19) is roughly 3.7 million (3,787,201).

      If you run a rough calculation of those numbers, to date, the death tally is 0.05% of the total population of Earth.

      Process that carefully.

      Because I can break it down further by province or per every 100 people in Canada and I guarantee the numbers will be shockingly lower than the world average. Stupidly so.

      With this logic in mind, please enlighten us as why it was necessary to destroy our current and future economic state and freedoms.

      2. Those of us who are unvaccinated have never demanded that others get vaccinated.
      3. It is well understood in science that an entire population down to the last man does not have to be vaccinated in order to reach herd immunity. This is in large part because many will get infected by the virus, recover without any ill effects, and then be immune. In addition, if enough people are immune (naturally or through vaccine) then the virus has a hard time getting around.

      So if a smaller portion of society does not want to get vaccinated, but enough do get vaccinated, then what on earth does it matter in the end? Indeed I am glad there is a certain segment of society that is skeptical – there are many benefits to having people like that in the mix.

  17. As a pharmacist I was taught that “every single drug” you put in your body is a “poison”. Aspirin, penicillin etc. are all poisons. Some people are allergic to various drugs.I’ m sure a certain percentage of polio vaccine recipients suffered allergic reactions.Its the same with MMR (measles, mump, rubella) With covid innoculation the number of people world wide receiving it s astronomical. And so are the reactions(not to mention the media attention) I just saw a surgeon to arrange for knee replacement surgery. He told me the odds of dying frm the surgery are 2%
    I read a report where the %age of people dying from the vaccine was something like 0.0001%. Pretty good odds I think.

    Someone on here said the odds of dying in a car accident are 1 in 100.Imagine the number of deaths worldwide if EVERYONE drove.

If VAERS is to be believed, the deaths attributed to the COVID vaccines in the US are more than the deaths, so far, from all the other vaccines combined in a much longer period. And now they want to force these vaccines on people who should not get them and do not actually need them.

    2. Here’s one more little fact for you: Nobody, not a single so-called expert nor one solitary armchair critic, has a clew about the long term effects of said “vaccines”.

      My lovely bride & I have 3 daughters ranging from late teens to early 20’s. If they decide to have children, will this “vaccine” have any bearing on their ability to conceive and to birth a healthy child? FDA trials won’t be completed for another 2 years and that’s just short and medium term results. Our girls are old enough and bright enough to make their own decisions but I have advised them against the “vaccine”. We’ve had lengthy discussions on the topic.

        1. Well, the percentages of the sheep getting knocked up with the mRNA protoplasm, reflects the political makeup of this country.
          Looks like 75-80% have taken one or two doses of the goo. That about the same as adding up the Commies, Liebrawls, Endies and Greentards together. They all believe in BIG government and nannystate oversight, telling them what to do.
          Seems about right, 20% of the country are solid true conservatives, freethinkers, who will make their own decisions, review what has been said, do their research, and be independent.
          Like me, and most of us here.
          As I said before, I’m not an anti-vaxxer. I’ve had all my shots, through the school age years. I’ve had several tetanus shots, the Mumps shot, and the Twinrix double shot against Hepatitis.
          And like you Steaky, my 20 something daughter took the shot as well, despite our discussions that it wasn’t necessary, and to do all her research. Well, if she goes infertile, she has a child already and he’s too young, THANK GOD ABOVE!, to receive the mRNA experimental nanoparticle goo.

  19. 1,349,340 Canadians are official ‘no-body’s’ in the Covid pandemic. My wife and I are two of them. Despite increasing scientific recognition that infection results in natural immunity, equal to and likely superior to vaccination, we are considered ‘un-vaccinated’ and thus a threat to others. The gov’t’s ‘solution’ is that we accept vaccination, despite it posing some risk (my wife is immune compromised) while providing no measurable medical benefit. We will likely be denied boarding by air or sea and would be subject to quarantine on return if we could travel.

    The government has an obligation to this significant number of Canadians with natural immunity and has no right to insist that we accept a medically unnecessary ‘emergency protocol only’ in order to enjoy the same rights as the vaccinated.

    1. No Guff, I want just one medical expert tell me just how I can be a danger to someone who is vaccinated and not sick, if I am not vaccinated and not sick. The stupid is strong in this country and it apparently affects medical experts, government health bureaucrats and the everyday citizen.

      1. I was supposed to be on the last day of my 14 day quarantine but it seems the lab has screwed up my second test and I’m told by faceless email that I need to repeat it. I have had two negative tests in the last three weeks, have been in isolation but now it seems they will add another week although no one in authority will talk to me. No symptoms. Not sick. What the **** was the 14 day quarantine designed for? WTF????

    I’ve been sending the Weinstein podcasts to friends and family.
    My question is what happens when the shit hits the fan and people realize that they have been deceived and that their future health and that of any of their vaccinated children has been potentially compromised. And, what will happen if the public realizes there would not have been a catastrophe but for the bat coronavirus research in Wuhan, with the deep state’s (the entrenched, inaccountable bureaucracy’s) cooperation and complicity .
    With regards to the suppression of alternative therapies who will be held accountable for the excess deaths and suffering? If there is a scandal will it torpedo the power of the unaccountable bureaucrat? Will it bring the whole stinking Gov-Media-Academia complex down?

    2. Considering the effort to bribe and intimidate the public into taking the vaccine, even in cases where the risk benefit is all downside, as for example covid survivors, its hard not to be suspicious. It does seem pathological and malicious.

        That there is some serious risk/reward scientific analysis going toward the decision to get vaccinated. /s

        It is a fact that stands in isolation: Anyone making a serious health decision based on whether they get a prize or bauble is an idiot.

        Same with anyone who insists that they know that there are no long term effects of a brand new vaccine technology unless they have access to a time machine. It is logically unknowable at this time.

    I have been following the ivermectin etc. therapies for months now, and can’t get anybody I know to be even a little bit interested. If I had a source for ivermectin other than horse deworming paste I’d take that. But I’m in Canada, so no chance.

    I’m an old coot (71 this summer) and got the AstraZeneca (only 1st shot, so far) in April. Now the “medical experts” want me to get Pfizer or Moderna for my 2nd shot. No way, Jose.

    1. Rather than horse paste go to Peavy Mart and pick up some Bimectin from Bimeda (100% ivermectin). It’s from a Canadian company and since it’s originally meant for injection it’s sterile. Around $80/250ml so approx x170 @ 1.5ml doses. …but I’m no doctor, not even a vet 😉

      You’ll need a syringe to get it out of the bottle but obviously don’t inject yourself. lol
