  1. Western civilization is a dead horse. Beat it all ya want, it ain’t gonna get up.

  2. Well … you can’t fault the left for being inconsistent (in the case of “gender” … pronouns, and whatnot). Since it is nothing but playing make-believe for a girl to SAY she is a boy/he/him … then why not a cuddly furry? Why not an Anime heroine? It’s all make-believe. Typical play for your average 4yo.

    1. You will henceforth address me as Genghis Kahn, slayer of the weak, leader of warriors, ravisher of women and despoiler of nations. If you fail to do so, I will be…triggered?

      1. My pronoun is “Mein Fuhrer”, anyone who refuses to address me by my pronoun is a fascist.

      2. Maybe I can get behind this pronoun thing after all.

From now on, people can address me as… “Here’s the Hundred I Owe You”. To fail to address me in that manner would cause me great emotional and financial stress.

    1. Funny Stan, those are mine too. Does that mean if we ever meet up that we’ll have a stand off facing one another, or a mutual agreement to stand back to back? I’m thinking it’ll be the latter.

  3. Just want to throw in a plug for the furries. I go to a pool at a nearby hotel. For the last couple of years the Furry Association ( or whatever it is called) has had its annual convention on a summer weekend. People who belong to this group are clearly social misfits. It’s quite sad. A nurse friend told me that the organization helps them a great deal. I am sure they all lead pretty difficult lives. Any small thing that might help them cope is good in my view. I do not see them as the same as trans, which is more of a social fad for most of those involved. I also don’t feel this (furries) should be turned into a political issue. I think any caring teacher would want to comply if they understood the underlying dynamic. It’s a mental health issue.

    1. You’re clearly not familiar with the subculture. It’s a sexual fetish. They have sex in the suits.

    2. I’m afraid that if you think that pandering to some strange delusion is going to help him cope, that both you and he have another think coming.
All you, and any “mental health experts” are doing, in the end, is setting the poor fellow up for a very hard fall when he has to actually face reality, which will happen, sooner or later, and a good thing, too, as never having to face reality means either being institutionalized or a menace to society.

      1. ” very hard fall when he has to actually face reality”

What does that even mean in this context?

    3. “It’s a mental health issue.”

As Kate* pointed out years ago: when someone declares themselves Napoleon you do not help them by treating them like an emperor of France.

*or was it Ace from Ace of Spades HQ who said that?

  4. Welcome to Rome. The Huns are at the gate.

Why won’t she name the school? That is precisely what is needed here. Scorpions hate being exposed to the light.
