Several of them could easily be like my little guy, particularly the one chasing the large ball. That’s how he behaves when we play “go und get it”. He’ll go after the toy, run back with it enthusiastically and deliver it with my reach, and then bark at it until I pick it up and throw it.
When the one with the broom was trying to get it into his cage and the woman said that it couldn’t be done, my thought was “Wanna bet?” The critter nearly got it inside when that clip ended.
This last trip, I crossed paths with several dog owners and I showed some of the video recordings of him that I made. Everyone was charmed by his look.

After a recent snowfall I watched ‘Dash’ walking in his backyard breaking trail in about 12″ of snow– just like a Cross-Country skiier. It was hard going for him but at least the snow was soft. Once he was finished that, the fun began. He ran the trail back and forth as fast as his little body could go, several times. I guess he knew instinctively that it was fun to exercise. He was having a real ball! Occasionally he sat to rest in the snow and eat some to quench his thirst. If someone passed him on the walkway he’d bark at them and get excited if they had a dog. He had to let them know he was there.
Regardless of what his real name is, to me, he’ll always be Dash. It’s so appropriate, since the first time I saw him, he was dashing around.
What a smart puppy! I’m smitten.
P.S. When I first saw Dash I tried to figure out his breed. And, then I saw his head turn — and that beautiful nose!

It’s not entirely Prime Minister Fecalpate’s fault. Airlines like playing their games, as well, as I keep finding out with WorstJet.
For this past trip to my house in B. C., I booked WJ both ways. Then WJ decided to cancel the original return flight just before Christmas, offering me instead a 0630 red-eye out of Fort St. John to Calgary, which would have meant getting up early in the morning to get ready, have breakfast, and close up the house. (Try doing that while one’s half asleep…..) Then I would have had to twiddle my thumbs in Calgary for close to 8 hours before I could catch my plane back to Edmonton. (As my late father often said, “Real schmart…..”)
Rather than cancel the original return trip, I re-scheduled it for later this month, taking Air Canada instead. I ended up leaving Fort St. John a bit earlier than I originally planned, but that arrangement still allowed me enough time to get a bit of estate work done that morning.
I wonder what WorstJet has in mind for me for my next trip to the house. It used to be such a good airline a long time ago…..
Wow! Flying is pretty tricky when you think of it especially when one has to transfer planes. I feel for you. Personally, I do prefer direct flights whenever possible. But for yourself, at least it beats driving as it is a long drive. In winter, the weather can be unpredictable. Stay safe.

Several of them could easily be like my little guy, particularly the one chasing the large ball. That’s how he behaves when we play “go und get it”. He’ll go after the toy, run back with it enthusiastically and deliver it with my reach, and then bark at it until I pick it up and throw it.
When the one with the broom was trying to get it into his cage and the woman said that it couldn’t be done, my thought was “Wanna bet?” The critter nearly got it inside when that clip ended.
This last trip, I crossed paths with several dog owners and I showed some of the video recordings of him that I made. Everyone was charmed by his look.

Dogs are fun to watch, and can amuse themselves very nicely.
After a recent snowfall I watched ‘Dash’ walking in his backyard breaking trail in about 12″ of snow– just like a Cross-Country skiier. It was hard going for him but at least the snow was soft. Once he was finished that, the fun began. He ran the trail back and forth as fast as his little body could go, several times. I guess he knew instinctively that it was fun to exercise. He was having a real ball! Occasionally he sat to rest in the snow and eat some to quench his thirst. If someone passed him on the walkway he’d bark at them and get excited if they had a dog. He had to let them know he was there.
Regardless of what his real name is, to me, he’ll always be Dash. It’s so appropriate, since the first time I saw him, he was dashing around.
What a smart puppy! I’m smitten.
P.S. When I first saw Dash I tried to figure out his breed. And, then I saw his head turn — and that beautiful nose!

Mandating the use of masks is getting so ridiculous and should be reviewed and canceled. They don’t work. Social distancing is good enough but hard on businesses. They like to do volume. I sympathize with the owners of small businesses. They are going to disappear. Sadly.
The government and suppliers are making a good living though. Funny how there’s not a peep from the Minister of the Environment about all that garbage going into landfills… masks, gloves, sterile paper gowns, shoe coverings etc.

It’s not entirely Prime Minister Fecalpate’s fault. Airlines like playing their games, as well, as I keep finding out with WorstJet.
For this past trip to my house in B. C., I booked WJ both ways. Then WJ decided to cancel the original return flight just before Christmas, offering me instead a 0630 red-eye out of Fort St. John to Calgary, which would have meant getting up early in the morning to get ready, have breakfast, and close up the house. (Try doing that while one’s half asleep…..) Then I would have had to twiddle my thumbs in Calgary for close to 8 hours before I could catch my plane back to Edmonton. (As my late father often said, “Real schmart…..”)
Rather than cancel the original return trip, I re-scheduled it for later this month, taking Air Canada instead. I ended up leaving Fort St. John a bit earlier than I originally planned, but that arrangement still allowed me enough time to get a bit of estate work done that morning.
I wonder what WorstJet has in mind for me for my next trip to the house. It used to be such a good airline a long time ago…..
Wow! Flying is pretty tricky when you think of it especially when one has to transfer planes. I feel for you. Personally, I do prefer direct flights whenever possible. But for yourself, at least it beats driving as it is a long drive. In winter, the weather can be unpredictable. Stay safe.
