  1. We’re now well aware of how the phony plague has affected business through idiotic mask regulations and driving small firms into bankruptcy.

Now that it seems that everybody and his dog have bought into this horse puckey. I was talking with someone earlier this evening and he said that his company has to play along with what his clients are doing. If one outfit changes its virus policy, his firm has to adapt accordingly or lose business.

This prompts the question: who’s going to make the first move and get out of this idiocy or is everyone now permanently locked into this groupthink?

    1. We are the gelding in the corral, now bit trained, and being led around in circles with the blanket on our back, soon to be a saddle. Prepare to get rode and rode hard.

      1. That’s what I foresee. We’ve become nothing but a human version of an ant colony.

          1. Most people have no memory of the early days of the polio vaccine and, so, are willing to go along with this farce.

Someone posted a link in another thread which described what happened more than 60 years ago and it didn’t go smoothly at first. And that was after, presumably, considerable clinical testing.

I guess it’s all because Bill Gates was bumped from the position of being the world’s richest man.

But, I keep forgetting that we, the great unwashed, are expected to take on such risks for the greater glory of “The Great Reset”, right?

          2. Bill Gates ALSO wants to make millions from designing and implementing contact tracing programs.

    2. Ba, the only way to stop this is as I have said, complete and total civil disobedience and refusal to comply by all citizens. Will it happen? Nope, they will just bend over and keep taking it until there is nothing left of them.

      1. I fully agree. The nerve of those awful WW2 veterans, having their children vaccinated so that they did not get polio. So terrible, kids not having polio. They were stupid back in the 1950s, not having Suzanne Summers and the rich, artsy-craftsy Hollywood types to show them the Truth.

        1. David, don’t make an ass of yourself by comparing apples and oranges or one virus that does not equate to another virus. Come on you must be smarter than that.

    3. To me BA, it seems to be getting worse. Day after day i am seeing more n more complete morons walking their dogs or taking their kids for a walk Completely masked…surprised they didn’t mask the Dog ffs. I’ll begrudgingly wear one into a busy grocery store..but as soon as I’ve paid, off comes the Yellow Star of David…while still in the store. But Situations like Bank machines & Gas stations nope.

What irks me is that mandatory masks were mandated not by AHS or someone with any kind of Medical credibility…No, just a couple of wanna Be COMMUNISTS that happen to be the mayors of our 2 major cities. NenXi’s taken 2 ASS Kissing Trips to Bejing…what’s Ivesons Tally..??

      1. I don’t know about Iveson’s Chinese connections others than his wife being of Asian descent. Mind you, there is ample evidence that the Tides Foundation (the next best thing to being a chicom, I suppose) has meddled in Edmonton’s civic elections.

  2. Well, the ‘stay safe, care for others’ woman has announced no Christmas for BC this year. The sheep who demand that the government “do something” are getting done good and hard now. Morons asked for it too.

Vancouver Island has about 200 “cases” and a whole 10 people in hospital with covid (who knows if covid put them there, they don’t say, just imply). Vancouver Island has a population of around 880,000 people, the vast majority in Victoria. Up island we might have had a whole 20 cases since this bullsh*t started. But, the province wide edict takes no commons sense into account and just shuts us all down.

    https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/safety/emergency-preparedness-response-recovery/covid-19-provincial-support/restrictions

    Social gatherings
No social gatherings of any size at your residence with anyone other than your household or core bubble. For example:

Do not invite friends or extended family to your household
    Do not host gathering outdoors
Do not gather in your backyard
Do not have playdates for children

    Core bubble
For most people, their core bubble is their immediate household. An immediate household is a group of people who live in the same dwelling. For example:

If you have a rental suite in your home, the suite is a separate household
If you live in an apartment or house with roommates, you are all members of the same household
For others, including people who live alone, their core bubble may also contain a partner, relative, friend or co-parent who lives in a different household. This should be a maximum of two people outside of those living in your immediate household.

But as always, there are “exceptions” like “Formal Meetings”

The order does not restrict formal meetings. They can continue to operate with COVID-19 safety protocols and a maximum of 50 people in attendance. This includes:

    City council meetings
    Alcoholics Anonymous
    Group support meetings
    Business meetings
It is recommended that virtual meetings be held as much as possible.

Apparently covid will infect a small family gathering at Christmas but not an AA meeting.

    1. also , mayors of Austin vacationing in mexico sending stay at home messages. democrats in california in secret dinners

    2. I’m at my house in Fort St. John right now and the place has become an insane asylum. I, unfortunately, play along because I don’t want to get into an argument about exemptions and the like, not that anybody would ever recognize, let alone accept them. While I’m here, I need to get things done with respect to settling my father’s estate and I haven’t got much time for that sort of horsing around.

I looked through that list. Since I’m coming into B. C. from Alberta, is settling my father’s estate and checking on my house considered essential? I’m the only one working on it and I’m the only one who has access to the house.

Personally, I don’t give a rat’s patootie what that quack Bonnie Henry thinks. If she can permit Lotuslanders to go skiing at nearby resorts, she can blinkin’ well let me take care of family business.

      1. This is the greatest put on ever!

Last winter when they announced, “YOU HAVE THE FLU” I saw an interview where a Washington politician said that it took only 15 minutes to get to the office whereas pre-whuflu it took him 45 mins…. and then he hid his smile and bit his lower lip.

Remember Theresa Tam’s suggestions? What a laugh.

These sociopathic people are enjoying themselves.

        1. This has been the opportunity that nutters like xim/xer/xit have been waiting for.

      2. Yes BADR, go where you want, there is no legal restriction against it.

Sweet little Bonnie the C, says its only a suggestion to restrict travel, but there is no actual enforcement.

The flu kills far more people on average every year. One’s chances of being killed in a car accident is the same as the Woohoo flu killing you.

Meanwhile back at the luxurious offices of the medical bureaucratic hand wringer, there have been no studies whatsoever for possible therapies. NONE, Not for Ivermectin, not for HCQ, not for increased Vitamin D levels. NONE. That’s HARD work…..

I can’t stand that woman, never could from Day one. The hero worship of this emotionally fragile dimwit is particularly staggering, but then its a statement of today’s society, blindsided and apathetic to the media blackmail and propaganda. It works.

        1. Here is a website cataloging COVID-19 studies for:
          HC Q
          Ivermectin
          Vitamin D
          Zinc
          REGN-COV2
          LY-CoV
          Remdesivir

It is broken down by drug therapy at the top of the page
I found after listening to Dr Steven Hatfill on a podcast

          https://c19study.com/

          1. It’s Simply AMAZING…!!!
            Global Deaths per 1 Million
High Malarial African States where Hydroxychloroquine is USED – DAILY.

            NIgeria: 6/Million
            Rep Tanzania: 0.3/Million
            Angola: 11/Million
            Mozambique: 4/Million
            Niger: 3/Million

Now compare to Western Nations that use Ventilation and would mandate Vaccines etc…
            USA: 877/ Million
            Brazil: 832/Million
            France: 850/Million
            Italy: 1003/Million
            Spain: 998/ Million
            Canada: 337/Million

Tell me again that HCQ has ZERO effect…?

        2. She’s gag worthy. I’m smiling ear to ear as these idiots start to turn on this nincompoop. Where’s your bonie t-shirts now nutbags?

Meanwhile all practical measures like rapid testing of nursing home staff hasn’t happened yet. She’s still waiting for approval or something. Wtf.

          1. And in NO PLACE in the WESTERN Hemisphere have I seen or heard ANY Health Authority speak of the need to ensure your Immune system is at peak efficiency: Vitamin D @ 2000 mcg Daily with Vitamin C w/Zinc at 500 mcg daily.

Now why the Hell would they ignore that hmmm..??
Its VACCINE all day – every day.
I smell a RAT and have been since last January

          2. Bonnie is a twat.
I can’t visit my buddy to play some guitar, which a few of us had been doing to alleviate our locked down lives…..but I can go to the mall with hordes of people.
Actually, we could get together for a jam, but he has a Karen neighbour who he fears will rat us out.
So, again, Bonnie is a twat.

    3. Easy for her to do in Vancouver; wait ’til she tries to banish Chinese New Year 🙂

  3. “But you can join the other 500 people at Costco, Home depot, walmart. Because well-when you have as much money and clout as they do the virus just cant live there.

    1. But gathering for a worship service in church, or outside it in the parking lot, could get one arrested. Got it.

      1. They’ve no consistency from one jurisdiction to another with their so called regulations. They’re pushing for the masses to ‘demand’ One World Government. They make me laugh with their daily briefings — they’re so serious, they look happy that they finally have meaning in their empty depressing boring lives. Meanwhile nobody is watching their TV show, really.

        1. they finally have meaning in their empty depressing boring lives

Bingo! They finally have a reason to feel important and they won’t hesitate to make other people suffer for it.

I’ve mentioned being verbally harassed for not wearing a mask. It reminded me of when, while in elementary school, we used to tattle on each other. (“Teacherrrrr! Johnny’s making faces at meeeeeee…..” “Johnny! Stop making faces at Suzie!”)

Many of us outgrew that as we got older, often because there may have been consequences from the classmate(s) in question for doing so, plus we may have also realized that such incidents and infractions weren’t serious and not worth worrying about.

Unfortunately, the karens and kevins (or is it kens) who rat out scofflaws and other such “violators” don’t seem to have grown up. They may have become older with time, but their level of maturity didn’t advance much past their early school days.

And now we’re paying for such neuroticism. Yes, I know you, like Terry Malloy (played by Marlon Brando in the movie On The Waterfront) could have been “a contender”, but life isn’t always fair and mature people make the best of what they’ve been dealt.

        1. People need to laugh at all the pompous assed politicians. They need to be hounded everywhere in the streets and laughed at and pointed out everyday as imbeciles. Met at their doors and ridiculed and laughed at all down the streets. Pompous assed fart catchers who have all found their calling.

    2. And you can sit shoulder to shoulder on an airplane. Other than that stay locked in your home.

  4. Robert,
I like the aerobic exercise maneuvers that Sebastian Maniscalco performs when he does his comedy routines. What a terrific comedian. Also he’s very Seinfeldesque in his many observations about life.

Here is one of my favorite out-takes from his longer routine,
    “Why Would You Do That?”
Watch “Going For Dinner at a Stranger’s House… | ‘WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?’ Special”
    https://youtu.be/2WbSxrfrMqA

      1. OMG he is the best. Thank you Nancy. Priceless. Please Justin Trudeau I just want ice cream. OMFG

      1. Watcher: I am pretty sure that he is an Italian-Canadian, based in Montreal. “Italian-Canadians” represent a significant proportion of the “anglo” community in Montreal. When large groups of Italians started immigrating to Montreal after WWII, the French school system would not accept them, so they went to English schools, predominantly the English Catholic school system.

This is a link to the comedian in his character “Sal” commenting about having to wear a mask when going into a store:
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIq30TfOXY4

        1. Thanks OttawaMJ he was very good. A Montreal version of Andrew Dice Clay whose Mother finally caught up to him and washed out his mouth. Ha Ha Ha

        2. OMJ–
For the record you deserve credit for introducing us to
Matthew Giuffrida. He offers some valid political views on things that need pointing out.

You’re right about everything when it comes to Matthew — I laughed till I cried watching his videos. (He does a perfect James Gandolfini impersonation with his ‘Sal’ character. [“OHH!!!!”] )

The video below mocks the Quebec Office of the Language Police. Matthew is frank and bang on about this too.

According to one of Matthew’s videos, the OQLF are now harrassing a famous Montreal Pastry shop that has had the same name for over 60 years. I remember when they first tried out their muscles on “McKenna’s Florist” in downtown Montreal, back in the ’70s. They’re likely making big bucks harrassing small businesses. As we all know the Anglos left Montreal because of these Communists. They’re impossible. (The same with the WhuFlu today. It’s not funny anymore– they want to inject us with garbage that could kill us)

Personally, I’m glad that the immigrants still insist on speaking English. Most don’t know the fact that in order to be able to send kids to English school in PQ, one must provide ‘proof’ that at least one parent went to English school. Otherwise, all kids have to go to French school. As you indicated, back in the day all immigrants had to go to English school. They didn’t want the French pure Laine language to be ‘polluted’ with immigrants. That changed pretty quickly when their enrollment decreased after they trashed religion and Lucien Bouchard bought out the nuns because they owned too much land.

Their brand of Communism has hit the ROC. It’s very disturbing to see it manifest itself even in the USA.

Watch “MARTIN | Are you serious OQLF?!?!”
          https://youtu.be/2VBB4Y2q80E

          1. NR: I am working through Mathew G.’s catalogue of videos on YouTube to give myself a daily dose of hearty laughter. It seems that he was a precocious teenager when he started the channel 12 years ago.

In looking back at the failure of the federal government and the courts to protect the rights of Montreal anglos when Quebec City started passing anti-English legislation in the 1970s, I now see that as one of the first steps by Big Government in Canada to restrict our individual freedoms. And of course it has only gotten worse since then, and has now reached a crisis level, although you would never know that from the mainstream media.

          2. @2:35 pm OMJ

I agree 100% with your “Big” Government assessment MJ.

Neither the Federal Government nor the Provincial Government cares how much the Quebec gov’t hurt the Quebec Anglos. They can’t even be bothered to keep a minister in place of Anglo affairs — that portfolio is an on again off again one. This October 2018 piece from the CBC (sorry!) explains it. See below.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much they’ve hurt me on a personal level. To repeat it is to relive it. To put a dollar value on it, would shock you, but to put it another way, it was and still is devastating.

            Here is that article:
            https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/no-designated-minister-for-anglophones-as-quebec-premier-vows-to-take-on-portfolio-himself-1.4869353

P.S. saw a load of “Brudder” videos– he is “shpack!” He really massacres the English language to a terrific comedic level! I love his mini lectures when he portrays himself as The Professor, as seen here:

Watch “Fratellino Academy | Politiks” on YouTube
            https://youtu.be/GJF0EQn-xp0

  5. Question. How many people will we have to kill to regain our freedom because we are long past the conversation point?

    1. I suspect those shots for seniors on TV are placibo as you don’t want the first people taking this vaccine to suddenly croak. Politicians tend to do shit like this.

    1. trailer park wife

That’s even better than my referring to her as a floozie in an earlier thread.

    1. That’s a really interesting development. I think Texas has a strong case, and I like that it is a bit removed from the strictly political Dems vs. Trump/Repubs. It is a Constitutional argument.

    2. Living on the Wet Coast I’m a bit late to the game and I was going to post the link, but you beat me to it. Seems like in the Battle for the Republic, Texas has resurrected the ghosts of Travers, Crockett and Bowie and the rest. I think they’ll have a bigger impact on the election than the thousands of dead voters that the Democrats brought to the fight.

  6. Blackie’s CBC reports that the head of a whiny indian tourism agency, received a twenty five thousand dollar bonus for distributing Big Chief Gay Eagle With No Balls pandemic relief money.

    1. Near the end of the video the teacher looks down to her lap twice, very likely to look at her cell phone. Since she is in Oregon, what she did was illegal:
“Oregon’s basic law says it is illegal to drive while holding or using an electronic device (e.g. cell phone, tablet, GPS, laptop).”

In other words, she can tell you what rules and regulations to obey, but she can decide for herself which rules and regulations she does not have to obey.

  7. Blacklock reports on a federal bank paying for consultants to advise on doing business in China. Its a good thing we have websites like Blacklock Reporter, or we would be stuck getting censored news from Blackie’s bought and paid for media.

  8. Statistics Canada today released a report on policing in Canada. Can you guess what police forces receive the highest number of calls (per capita) for service? (and it is by far the highest; over twice as high compared to cities). Would it be a surprise that it is First Nations? Those darn colonizers/settlers, you know they are responsible.

” All levels of policing reported an increase in the number of calls for service from 2017/2018. When accounting for population served, First Nations officers responded to a higher ratio of calls, i.e. 90,228 calls for service per 100,000 population (Chart 3). In comparison, municipal police services received 38,371 calls for service per 100,000 population, followed by a rate of 37,689 for OPP, 36,308 for RCMP, 25,697 for RNC and 20,206 for SQ. ”

    1. It does not matter, not even a a tiny tiny bit does it matter. Unless this crap has at least two years and extensive tests, no one in Canada should take it. Damn it what a bunch of morons.

    2. Did us a favour, we’ll get to watch everyone else react before it even becomes an issue to get a shot here.

  9. True North reports on how Angry Adolf spent half a billion dollars on hand sanitizer from foreign countries, while Canadian booze companies were offering it for free. I wonder how much Adolf bought from China?

    1. And then there’s the question as to how much he’s been bought by China.

  10. If you question the obsession of so many big city politicians in building “bicycle infrastructure”, you might enjoy a new found favourite’s (“Mad Martin”) views on Montreal’s bike path buildathon which comes at the expense of repairing pot holes and supporting businesses forced to close because of the China virus.

    1. This cretin of unknown parentage needs to be in an institution somewhere under constant supervision.
He and Ottawa is a perfect example of why Canada does not work and hopefully soon is broken up.
The people of Eastern Canada are a disgrace

      1. Meanwhile, he craps all over the farmers of western Canada, but cuddles up with those in Quebec.

  11. And now your Canadians are racist bastards stories for today. The Liberal Party’s Toronto Star is outraged that police forces in Canada are still mostly white and male. And black students continue their sit in at the University of Ottawa because Canadians are racist bastards or something.

    1. I sent Kenny and my MLA (who never responds) a letter letting them know they will have pissed off too many this time around.

      1. Kenney’s lost my vote for sure. Wexit all the way from now on.

That’s assuming, of course, that we’ll have another election in the future.

    1. It makes me wonder who got to him? Did he finally sell out to China? Is he being blackmailed? Only a few days ago, he said he was against “The Great Reset” and now he’s betrayed the people of Alberta.

The UCP is dead to me now.

And do you really think that it’s going to end in a month’s time?

  12. Not mandatory but you will be under house arrest if you don’t.

“There may be some restrictions placed on people that don’t have vaccines for travel purposes, to be able to go theatres and other places,” Elliott said at Queen’s Park on Tuesday. “That will be up to the individual person to decide whether they want to receive the vaccine to be able to do these things or not.”
Elliott said Ontario will issue government documentation so that people can prove they have received the vaccine. She says the documentation will be “essential” to have as the province emerges from the pandemic.
