Whenever I see a 2nd or 3rd place woman competitor virtue signal by fawning gratuitously over an obvious male winner, to me they’re giving their stamp of approval to a policy that ensures they’ll never win again. Sorry girls…I got nothing in the tank for ya.
Feminists have been trying and failing miserably for years to slot their best woman competitor to go head to head with their male counterparts and winning . It’s their Holy Grail.

I can’t believe we’re actually discussing this…but it’s the 21st century so nothing is too ridiculous.
Colour me seriously old-fashioned, but – very far back in the day – there were both men’s and women’s sports at our school. The local distract and field track meet, there were separate events for both sexes. Was never into sports, myself, but thought things were reasonably equal at the school level. Though do remember that, for basketball games against the other schools in the district, the girls’ game always came first as though of lower value. But, given we didn’t take the school rivalries that seriously, it didn’t matter. None of our local school athletes of either sex were going to get good scholarships based on their athletic prowess anyway; in those days, it was the kids who aced the provincial exam finals who found their way paid to higher education.
We better get our act together now and make the rules clear who can participate, because when the humanoids and bipedal robots start to participate it will be game over.

At the 1976 summer Olympics in Montreal, there was testing of female athletes to ensure they were females, particularly in events that required great physical strength. The reason was that very masculine-looking “females” from communist countries were winning all the medals in events such as the women’s shot put. Some of these “women”, despite having sacrificed their male genitalia for the good of the motherland, were found to be males.

Ottawa MJ – any testing at Montréal totally missed the East German women’s swim team. They may have been genetically female, but they were so bulked up by steroids that they were performing as the “males identifying as females” do today. It came out some years later that the girls had not been told what they were ingesting and had lasting problems.
