  2. If it’s colder than normal, that’s clearly evidence of “climate change”. Any excuse to raise the phony-baloney tax, right?

    1. Ever notice how there has never been a point defined where climate change can be declared defeated? No amount of cooling will end the climate hysteria. You would think if mankind had such a profound impact on the climate that we would have to be careful to not go too far with CO2 reduction. That also assumes that CO2 is a driver for climate, not the other way around.

      Of course, we know it is all a big lie. Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes accepted as fact.

        The whole problem with The Agenda–as pushed–is that they managed to convince people that a) there’s a crisis, b) that humans had anything to do with it (I’ll admit maybe there’s a minor contribution), and c) that there’s anything humans can do to control a chaotic system that’s orders of magnitude more powerful than we are. Everything they do is to promote and support that ignorance, to the point that even legitimate scientists buy into the mythology. Climate Change is the ultimate boogeyman from which we can never, finally, at last, truly be saved…but we are to believe that we MUST TRY or we WILL DIE, and you’re literally the devil if you disagree. I don’t think there’s any other way to paint this.

  3. Anyone that has been paying any logical attention to the climate farce saw this coming 15 years ago. Gonna keep getting colder. Looking forward to how this is caused by increased CO2. When Alberta is buried under a hundred feet of ice year round I wonder if Trudeau’s great grandson will still be taxing CO2. (yes canada is stupid enough to elect another trudeau)

    2. Since Dear Leader Prinz Dummkopf the Supremely Magnificent has abolished Parliament, there’s no need to elect another one of his family. It’ll be given that his son will succeed him, and that son’s son will do the same, ad infinitum ad nauseum.

        1. Actually, thinking about it longer, it won’t be the Trudeau Dynasty. They’ll just be the sainted establishers of the New Canadian Order. The genetic line is much, much too weak to be allowed that kind of power. Once the toe-hold is established on his “charm” and “electability”, he and his family will suffer some sort of grievous accident (or “assassination”), and someone like Freeland will step in instead to rescue the Republic from the depredations of its internal enemies. History will be rewritten, the populace cowed further and further into unquestioning obedience and submission, freedom will disappear with people still thinking they’re free and better off than in other countries…but the Praetorian Guard will remain as the king-makers, once the system is established.

          We’ve seen this so many times in history, and at least four regimes currently in power have already gone through this, to devastating effect. It’s almost like people can’t learn from history for some reason, as though this time and in this place things will be better or somehow materially different. History repeats itself because people (as a whole) are congenitally stupid, and that just cannot be fixed. Too many just want to feel “safe” and secure and looked-after and have others make the decisions for them: these people should never, ever be allowed to vote in a democracy. In many ways the decline of the West can be laid at the feet of universal suffrage where it has not been linked with the concomitant personal responsibility.

  5. Sigh. 50% of the Holocene has been warmer than today. Things will become increasingly colder as we continue our march through the current grand solar minimum, solar cycle 25 into the New Cold Period. This will make no difference to the UN climatism doctrine. As we all know, the UNFCCC defined “climate change” when UN Trojan horse, Globull Warming, was unpredictably falsified in 1998. By 2000, “climate change” had been identified as the desirable UN term and defined as any indirect/direct anthropogenic influence on atmospheric composition and land usage. Chillingly unfalsifiable and omnipresent so long as a single person exists on the face of Gaia, it provided the UNEP / UNFCCC / UN WHO / UN ECOSOC with infinite justification for regulation and control. It also implies a proportional relationship between the size of the population and its ‘climate change’ affect.
    The “climate change” definition together with the adoption of the precautionary principle and the dismissal of science and commonsense from both health, now another UN Trojan horse, healthism, and safety, also a UN Trojan horse, safeism, these together underpin the current utterly destructive “lock down” for a relatively benign, highly transmitted novel virus.
    The UNEP/UNFCCC and Paris Accord were designed to take a wrecking ball to Western economies and industries of the last 150 years. Christiana Figueres (former Exec Sec UNFCCC stated that explicitly). The novel corona virus highlights a perfect intersection of interest between the UNEP / UN WHO and the CCP, which many socialist and neo-Marxist rainbow imbued governments, (like New Zealand and Canada), municipalities and regions, are embracing with a destructive totalitarian zeal.
    The Leftist war against civilisation, liberty, prosperity and happiness has been horribly escalated.
    Unless we fight, bear witness and resist, I promise we will be reflecting as Solzhenitsyn did, “And how we burned in the camps later…”

  7. I recently received my Fortis bill. It showed average temperature over the period of 7C. In 2019 the temperature was 9C.
    I live in Vancouver.

  12. This is a prediction for 6 days from now,(Mother’s Day is May 10th). A lot can happen in 6 days.. But, yes, looks like California is experiencing global warming, while the east coast is experiencing “weather”, lol!

  14. I don’t get too excited about short term stuff with weather. Yes, it’s been a nasty cold April and May is not starting off well. (Forecast -6C overnight for May 6th??? Are you kidding?) We had an usually mild winter and that is reflected in my unusually low electric bill. We had maybe 7 nights of temps below -40C when usually we get weeks of it. (I use electric heat.)
