          Ok now it’s my time for crazy conspiracy theories, but I believe they purposefully allowed the disease to take hold in Canada and were correct to do so. The rationale is simple. Imagine if they closed all borders immediately and through extreme draconian efforts were able to completely halt coronavirus in Canada. How long would we keep our borders closed for then? Months? And what happens after? Well, as soon as we opened up again, the infection would return and we’d be right back to square one. That’s why their aim is to allow a small number to get infected, control and slow the spread as much as possible, and aim for some semblance of herd immunity by the time the country goes back to work. Otherwise the only thing we’d be doing is delaying the inevitable, and at a grave cost at that.

    99% of people are smart enough, and empathic enough to obey the quarantine rules. Then there are the 1% that are too stupid, too self centered, and too sociopathic to obey the rules. All it takes is one (1!) idiot to spread Coronavirus to thousands of people.

    One lawyer in New Rochelle spread the Wuhan Pneumonia to hundreds of people. How many people in that NYC suburb are now sick, and how many are dead?

    One Korean Woman went to her church services four times. 1500 of the 1900 church members were infected with COVID-19.

    These are the careless people that will cause the Wuhan epidemic to spread, and the health system to collapse. Not only will people with the Chinese Virus die because they don’t have enough ICU beds and ventilators, but how many people with heart attacks, strokes, broken bones or even appendicitis die from lack of treatment? How selfish are these people? How many must die because of their piggishness and stupidity? How much longer will people need to stay home and businesses close because they “needed” to go to a bar, or a party, or hug and hold hands at church?

    We need to break the chains of infection. We need to stop the Chinese Plague from spreading, so we don’t lose a hundred thousand old people. We need the new infections to stop, so people can go back to work.

    Personally I think shoot on sight orders should be issued for repeat quarantine breakers.

      I don’t know how many people in that NYC suburb are now sick. Or dead. If you know, do tell. And, can you include the ages of those purportedly killed by Covid-19, and whether they had any other illnesses that would have made them particularly vulnerable, just like the many who are pushed over the edge by influenza variants every year?

      And did those 1900 Koreans go nowhere else but that church, meet no one else but that one woman? Did you test all 1500 other infected members of that congregation before their encounter with her, and find them virus free the day before they attended one of the four services she attended?

  16. I read thru the restrictions, how they are going to enforce some of them is beyond me. I can’t see the brave RCMP doing any enforcement period. After their gutless craven performance during the railway shutdown by a handfull of protesters I doubt that they will be of any use in the enforcement of Saskatchewans lockdown guidelines.

    ‘Health Care workers who have traveled internationally, truckers, rail, airline or other working crews are exempt from this advisory only if they are required to work to maintain essential services, provide emergency health care services and maintain supply chain, and are supervised by Infection, Prevention Control Officers and/or Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace.’

    All I can say to this is what the hell are you on. Who is going to supervise drivers crossing the province. This I assume applies to provincially regulated companies only and not Federally regulated companies. Talk about confusion I call it SNAFU.

  19. Wait until this is all over and the lawyers start on human rights and other infractions. The most common will be where a person was assumed to have Covid-19 because he or she had a cough or a hoarse voice, and they were NOT allowed to enter a public area. That’s happening everywhere. We all recall the early cases in the 60’s and 70’s where minorities were refused service or entry into an area open to the public. Worse yet will be cases where one blames another for ”catching” the disease. The Charter of Rights did not end when Justin Trudeau went into hiding.

    L- Is the justice system more able to protect you from violent criminals than the health system from Wuhan flu?

    Just as a virus is a predator of human host cells, the human predator is a wily, evolved one requiring a vulnerable host to parasite upon.

    Just as a physically healthy population survives the former well, so does a morally healthy population survive the latter, well. The government institutions attempt to be a “safety net” for those failing either criteria. Think circus.

    They have been overloaded for years,the spare capacity regional centres were supposed to maintain,for emergencies and pandemics,were deemed too expensive and wasteful..then got turned into offices for the all so important “administrators” who demand your papers(healthcard) at every entry point of the waiting system.
    After all,what was the point of maintaining the “emergency wards” when we have no staff to run them?
    Overload the healthcare system?
    Just demanding to see a doctor appeared to do that,prior to the Wuhan Flu Fear Pandemonium.
