    3. One report from a U.K. web site says that China is massing either regular troops or special police, at the Hong Kong border. President Xi knows nothing except brutal fascism. That’s why we need an effective consumer boycott against Chinese-made goods.

      1. It’s more the way to build (or rebuild) a country.
        In comparison I say our country is being run (not at all well). Our governments are not building Canada, we are dismantling it.

      2. It’s government theft to throw pogey at breeders. Hungary is a despotic backwater and this isn’t going to change that. France has similar initiatives and isn’t better off for it. I predict a surge in divorce and DV followed by general and gradual increases in crime as the products of ‘marriage and kids for profit’ enter the world

    2. A government solution to a problem that government created. When the problem are taxes and nanny state, the solution is not more taxes and more (literately) nanny state. Pensions are the problem. Lack of private savings is a problem. All this policy does is, it takes money from people who save so they can provide a decent standard of living for their future children and puts it in the pockets of those who want the government to provide for them.

      Also, low birth rates are not a problem when there is no culturally incompatible immigration. They only become a problem when the country is being flooded by violent low IQ turd worlders. Thankfully Hungary does not need to worry about that.

    1. Thanks for the post, Angel, and in half an hour I’m about to go to Sunday services at my small Baptist church. I basically support nearly all small-c conservative ideas, including social conservatism. We are losing the culture fight, in the long run, but it’s still a fight worth having.   18. Today on Trudeau’s CBC its political scrum panel discussed how wonderful Groper’s trip up north was. Everything he did up there was wonderful. They then trashed Scheer for his policies for the north. Next on the agenda was how evil the oil industry was for posting newspaper ads defending themselves. And finally how wonderful it was for Justin to clamp down on former diplomats talking about China. Don’t they realize an election is coming? The CBC reminds everyone to join Team Trudeau!

I watched long enough to see Felicity Huffman’s character bribe ($50) a little league pitcher to throw slow pitches so that her non-athletic son can get a hit.
