  1. I disagree….. not long ago we had a man, William Sampson held on trumped up charges in Saudi Arabia. I will never forgive our foreign minister at the time, Bill Graham for abandoning him. A politically easy way out would help our people, who are at this point only pawns. Peoples lives are not pawns. I admire McCallum for at least trying.

    1. McCallum is the Canadian ambassador to China, not a mouthpiece for the outcome that China would like in this case. He forgets who he works for. Or maybe he knows all too well. Or maybe it was just the Johnnie talking.

    2. While it is rather sad what’s happening to those useless people, let’s have a look.
Countries have laws, some like Canadian justice industry consider laws to be situational, if they actually followed the law they may be out of business.
Other countries have laws that they decided on.
If some from country of 35 million think they can ignore or change laws of a country of a billion+, are they living in never , never land?
Do the politicians of a small population country have this megalomaniacal idea that they can tell and a maximum population country how to do things? Come to think of it the politicians in a small population country screw their population on daily bases and the population seems to say, do it more.

People, are, pawns to the politicians, the media cartel and the rich socialist aristocrats, they remind the heteronormative about it every day, right here in the socialist dominion of Canada

McCallum should just have another drink and fade away.

        1. The one that knows better in this house is telling me on constant bases what I think.
          So you must be right.

    3. I.M. McCallum works for us. And those protections we have need to be shown.

Lev These are not “situation(al) laws”, already adjudicated, but in one case, a re-trial. A re-trial based on political expediency of the Chinese government as retaliation. We can do the same by law. So our option is to let our people rot in some hell?

      1. “So our option is to let our people rot in some hell?”

Absolutely, if only as a deterrent for other idiots considering traveling to hell on their own free will.

We may demand their release but absolutely not trade their criminals for those they have imprisoned unjustifiably. That only legitimizes enemy’s decision and encourages further thuggish behavior.

    4. He’s the ambassador for Canada, not China.

Our betters are more sensitive to the concerns of UN kleptocrats and tyrants than with their country, its citizens or its interests.

    5. I respectfully suggest that you go and perform certain anatomically impossible act. If you go to shitholes like China or Saudi Retardia then be prepared to deal with the consequences.

    1. If you need another reason not to like the Liberals, go to the National Post website and read the story on how the Liberals are using taxpayer money to finance groups to sue the government. Its an easy way for the Laurentian elites to get policies implemented without having to deal with the peasants. They simply give lots of money to the LEAF movement which sues the government in court, and gets the policies Justin wants. No messy democracy involved.

  2. I know I know for sure
ning nang nong nong ning nang nong nong ning nang
    I know I know it’s you
ning nang nong nong ning nang nong nong ning nang

    – Red Hot Chili Peppers

Did Anthony Kiedis do the negotiating?

  3. This is like the prosecution helping the defense with their case. I truly believe Tater Head thought this up in order to curry favour with the Chinks while sticking it to Trump. In the end I believe the Canajun Gummint will release the broad and allow her return to her socialist paradise.

  4. McCallum is continuing a time-honoured Canadian tradition: saying the honourable thing to English and Jewish audiences, saying what he actually plans to do to the disloyal minority, be they French Canadian, Amalekite or Overseas Chinese.

Everybody knows Justin plans to find some excuse to let the Chinese princess go rather than face American justice, and blame it all on Trump. McCallum just let the cat out of the bag.

McCallum boasted about having arranged Chinese wives for all three of his sons. Where do you think his loyalities lie?

  5. I agree, A Canadian – It’s a deliberate ploy to give cover for Trudeau to appear strong against China while McCallum gives him an opening to later give in and not follow through with the extradition of the Huawei lady. Just follow the story along and in a short time Trudeau will ‘take the sound advice of our ambassador’, letting our phony prime minister off the hook.
Pure politics in the face of an upcoming election and bad polls.

    1. It’s worse than that. Ambassadors do not EVER free-lance. Certain not since Walter Riddell, Canada’s ambassador to the League of Nations proposed an embargo of Italy over its invasion of Abyssinia and was publicly and humiliatingly dismissed by McKenzie-King. Ambassadors do what they’re told.

This is much more sinister. This is Spawn, Freeland and coterie thinking they can play footsie with China against the evil Trump regime (even though the US is our best and closest ally) and thus get the Chinese to hand over our citizens. Worse, by providing legal advice to China, Canada is: 1. subverting its own extradition treaty obligations to the US; 2. subverting the US justice system in its judicial request for extradition. This is an entirely heinous act by the current government of Canada.

      1. The penalty for allowing the extradition to proceed is being shut out of China which may sound drastic but it means Canada will be forced to do likewise. The penalty for not allowing the extradition to proceed would mean a breach of our agreement with the US meaning all future requests to the US to extradite someone wanted in Canada will be summarily rejected.
Like the next time some dual citizen finds themselves in Guantanamo Bay.
        Just sayin.
The obviously right way to deal with this is to allow the extradition to proceed and remind the Chinese that we have an actual treaty with the US that is actually reciprocal. But this is the Sockmonkey government we’re taking about so they likely want to do the opposite.
Cause that’s just what bad faith dealers do.

        1. You might want to review just how many draft dodgers were sent back during the Vietnam era.

      2. Canada has no obligation to assist America in its fixation with Chinese tech companies, and there is no reason to. If that’s ‘subversive’ so be it.

        1. Oh look! A FAN of the RED Chinese surveillance State! Nominating himself to be your Block Captain … pointing out “CRIMINALS!!!” of the State.

  6. “Chinese wives for all three of his sons.”

Is there something off about his kids. All the white men around here with imported wives seem peculiarly odd enough to scare off the white women.

    1. Rest assured they were business transactions, not love matches. McCallum wants his grandchildren to be Han Chinese, because when the Han inherit the earth only the Han will get enough to eat or get to work indoors.

Are they “off?” Possibly. I have heard it conjectured that most white men with Chinese wives are secretly homosexual. If your wife has no breasts to speak of, I imagine it’s easier to pretend you’re buggering a 12-year-old boy.

    2. Isnt Jug married to a Chinese woman?

The guy is a fool. He was the minister of veterans affairs and had never heard of Dieppe…….

  7. Never be too surprised at what the drunken sot is capable of doing. The Ceeb is already floating the notion that he might have been free-lancing in their desperate desire to salvage something to protect their beloved Spawn.

Remember there’s a reason why McCallum was dumped out of Cabinet in January 2017. He was just fourth in line of succession in case Spawn was incapacitated for some reason.

  8. The easier and more ethical thing for Justin and his drunken puppet McCallum to do would be to hand Meng over to the Americans and deal with the fallout afterwards. United States is a much more important trading partner, ally and neighbour than China could ever be.

But that wouldn’t be treasonous, so …

  9. Bongo likes to say he can’t comment on whatever issue it is at the moment because, “It’s before the court.” That is the proper tact to take. Cabinet ministers must do the same thing.

Jug McCallum is not a cabinet minister but as an Ambassador he is duty bound to follow the rules. He should never have spoken publically on a case before the court and the Minister of FA’s should act immediately and remove him from his post. I know this wont happen but my gut tells me that one misstep by Jug and they will sacrifice him.

This is the problem with kids running the government. They are constantly seeking approval. Since when do diplomats negotiate in public?

I don’t know what Megs Wazoo is guilty of but Canada has found itself in the center of a mess of it’s own making. Bongo and his handlers at Power Corp are looking for a ‘Canadian solution’.

  10. The guy playing the starring role in the ruling Liberal party says he will not fire McCallum then went on to say their main concern is getting Canadians being held in China home safely. So there you have it, it’s bend over and take the Commie boot and ask for more.

  11. When he talks about ‘change’, what type of change did he have in mind, is he thinking of switching from Jack Daniels to Tequila?

    1. I believe, can’t remember where I heard it, that McCallum was a single malt scotch drinker, not that blended gasoline like JW.

John McCallum is the CPC’s late Xmas gift. The guy was sent overseas to get him out of town before something like this occurred, but this time I wonder if his statements were accidental.
There’s not much anyone can do to McC, fire him, so what? He’s undoubtedly got a pension any of us peasants would kill for, so at age 68, he probably doesn’t give a sh**.

    2. “s he thinking of switching from Jack Daniels to Tequila?”

John McCallum, good Laurentian elitist that he is, has much more refined taste.

  12. Canada’s got a severely limp ambassador. Our country’s incapable of not tripping on itself on the World stage. Anyone know what happens to a horse similarly crippled?

  13. ” Canada is committed to the rule of law and legal proceedings free of political interference.” Nonsense! the Spud bought a pipeline before the Government was sued (triple damages) and the phony Court ruling was adjudicated in an International Court (3 Judge panel)…. Keep the corruption hidden…. BC is riddled

  14. Just heard on the news that jug McCallum misspoke. That wasn’t him it was..er..Johnny Walker or I.W. Harper ha.

The circus that passes for Canada’s Foreign Affairs department must be proud. Think the ukerainen clown princess is going to pull the plug on jug?

  15. It appears Sockmonkey wants to do a prisoner exchange.
    That would be troublesome.
Meng isn’t being charged under Canadian law so she isn’t our prisoner to exchange. If we did so we just interfered in a US criminal investigation.
The outcome of that is that Trump’s assertion that the Canadian government is a security threat is true, good luck getting favorable treatment the next time we need support from the US.
Trudeau owns this, but then he did say
” ready right now to do those things that Stephen Harper won’t do “

    1. “Meng isn’t being charged under Canadian law so she isn’t our prisoner to exchange. If we did so we just interfered in a US criminal investigation.”

She’s under arrest in Canada, and Canada has no moral obligation to assist with a US ‘criminal’ investigation. Not helping =/= interference

  16. Could have been the whiskey, might have been the gin.

Could have been the three or four six packs, I don’t know.

But look at the mess I’m in.

    1. Nice song.

Maybe he sampled too much of Johnny Walker’s new feminist beverage called Jane Walker.

  17. So MaCallum likes chinese hookers, and so do his sons… I’m not sure that helps anyone… he’s also good at interfering in an on going case featuring his Chinese bosses… he;s loyal to his comrades… imagine the dirt the chinamen have on Turdhole, PM Buttface and drunken MacCallum… no one knows better the level of Trudopia corruption than the commie chinese.

  18. McCallum does not know his place and should probably be given a new one. That being said, it was a mistake to arrest the Huawei lady in the first place. Canada should not be suckered into playing along with America’s Sinophobic neurosis, which is probably soon to pass.

    1. It will pass. When the Middle Kingdom is utterly destroyed, never to rise again, it will no longer be necessary to hate or fear the Chinese.

One day romantics may even decide to name a sports team in honour of a worthy opponent.

Who is looking forward to buying season tickets for Calgary Chinamen games? I know I am.

  19. If there was honest media coverage of this government in every department it would be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail.

  20. McCallum “mis-spoke”… for over an hour… Media accept excuse unconditionally… story over.
