  1. Bummer … seems as though mankind is going to be done in by good ol primitive FIRE. Forget about Mental cases with Nukes and missiles in N.Korea and Iran … but terrorists (of all stripes, beliefs, and grudges) to BURN us out.

  2. Amen!
The wind has already picked up considerably here north of Saskatoon. There are a lot of bare dry grain stubble fields around. One luck there is no frost in the ground and the tractors can go out an rip fireguards.

  3. well one of 2 things is true about nenshi re election 1 the islam and third world and white leftists/public unions demographically massively outnumber cockservatives or 2 the useless good for nothing cockservatives are going extinct as the people who have been voting con have been red pilled and have had enough of their useless asses me I think its a little bit of both

  4. High winds have been forecast for the Edmonton area as well. It’s already started gusting here.

  5. You been funny all your life or are you new to comedy? You might want to go to a few more improv nites before you unload your talent on the rest of us.
Peoples lives are at risk here.

  6. Good luck with the winds. We’ve had them all day in Calgary and area as far north as Olds. 50 mph to 60ish, visibility in Calgary was down to maybe a mile and a half with the dust all over the place. Breathing made you eat sand all freaking day; great stuff when you work outside, I tell ya.

  7. The wind is blowing stuff around here north of Saskatoon and you can smell the smoke outside.

  8. Watched the smoke from the fire between Airdrie and Balzac shortly after it ignited.
With the winds as strong as they are I thought Beiseker to the NE was going to get razed. Then the rains started.
Wonder if there are arrests going to be made here just like California?

  9. Winds are picking up, but thankfully radar shows a light shower passing over the area currently.

  10. We useta have a dog named buster… had ta shoot ‘im. He was one ornery cur. Some people don’t believe in re-incarnation. Hmmm….

  11. Several fires in Alberta being fanned by the high winds. Worst one I heard of was just west of Coleman, where one part of the town was under an evacuation order with the rest of the town being warned to be ready in case. This was just before 5:00 pm. Also mentioned the fire near Airdrie, and another near the Saskatchewan border where the hamlet of Hilda was under evacuation alert. Heard all this in car on way home but nothing more as power off when got there. However, saw our own little grass fire just down the hill where a power line had snapped and fallen down. Luckily, a fairly minor incident, though it (and a downed tree or two) kept the community sans electric for a good four or five hours. Those winds were really vicious.

  12. Burstall is near the AB/SK border north of Med Hat in SK. There is (or was) a TCPL gas compressor station near there.

  13. My understanding is that the Burstall fire originated near Hilda.
I can smell strong smoke 80 miles away.
