The last weekend before the midpoint of the season.
Thursday: Edmonton beats Winnipeg at home.
Friday: Ottawa at Hamilton. I don’t have a clue. Pick Hamilton cause they’re home. Pick Ottawa because Collaros is playing like a first year fifth rounder. I’ve got nothing.
Friday: Calgary loses to BC in Vancouver. Out on a limb time, but Calgary is coming off the buy and it’s their turn for the, “Oh, we do have to show up.” game.
Saturday: Montreal wins in Toronto if Ray is out, loses if Ray is in.
Bye Week: Saskatchewan

Canadian Foolish Loozers????
Too bad the new CFL commissioner has decided to inflict politics into the game with his globalist sloganeering “diverthity is strength”… bad idea… Whats the CFL going to do next have a t-shirt that says “The CFL,we have no core identity” or “The CFL,Change we can believe in”… hey CFL, if I want to hear alt-left political sloganeering and globalist rhetoric I’ll listen to the Sock Idiot or his Media, leave politics out of the game.
Yeah, noticed that was on the T-shirts of Buono and his staff when they got the sh** kicked out of them last week.
I wish athletes and sports leagues would stay the hell out of politics, they end up looking as dumb as the Hollywood set,and that’s pretty hard to do.
Edmonton over Winnipeg
Ottawa for the same reasons as you did,Collaros looks like he just came out of high school.Of course now,he’ll finally get it together.
Calgary over Lions if Jennings starts, otherwise it will be close. but Calgary.
Montreal/Toronto: same as you,for the same reasons.Does TO actually have a backup Q/B?
Correction – Winnipeg beats Edmonton – Fixed it fer ya!
Redblacks miss Hank. Just wow
Yeah, when I saw that t-shirt with that political slogan blazed across the front I thought, what the hell is this BS, began cheering for the Riders for the first time in my life, then I turned the channel, glad the Lions got shit kicked. Stay out of politics CFL, you can’t afford to lose anymore fans. I’ll take Calgary over old man Buono’s Lions, Bombers hand the Esks there first loss, Eastern Riders over the Cats and Montreal over the Toronto’s.
The Stamps always embarrass the Lions. Wont be different this week, especially since you picked the Lions Lance.
Insofar as I could figure, the “diversity” was related to the “home countries” where various players and staff were born. Wally Buono’s name was on the back as he was born in Italy, though he was brought to Canada when he was three. There’s certainly no diversity in how they play the game; no different sets of rules for various “minorities”; no provision for women or the handicapped to be in the league. The whole thing was just dumb.
Winnipeg over Edmonton. but I think it may be 50/50 on this pick
Ottawa over Hamilton and I will keep picking Hamilton to lose until they win.
Calgary over BC. Does the O line in BC hate Jennings??? only reason for three men to get through that many times.
Montreal beats TO Just because I don’t like TO…
The riders ore out of it this week so I have a chance of being right in calling that they won’t lose this week. 😉
Wpg 17 Edm 3 at the half.
Wpg 17 Edm 3 at the half
I agree Frances the whole thing was and remains dumb, but I’m not fooled by Ambrosie and the CFL excuses and rationalizations, this was a political statement disguised as something else, and yes it was dumb. Anyhoo, my favorite team right now are the Bombers, they’re fun to watch, Lofler is a good BC boy who plays the game tough and smart. The Lions don’t have a good enough offensive line or defensive line, unfortunately Buono continues to disagree with that obvious fact. Now back to the game and some more pop… can never count out the Esks, a very good team… go Bombers!
Wally Buono- Heh,heh, he’ll always be Wally Guano to me!
I’ve no problems with it. I’ll admit it’s a bit of a PR stunt, but the message is fine.
Really, can you have a problem with “Diversity is our strength”?
It’s nothing, and there are so many other things to worry about.
Like how good the Bombers look right now…that’s worrying.
“…leave politics out of the game.” Exactly.
Lance…I’m happy that you’re okay with the CFL using the same political rhetoric as PM Dumbshit and other Globalist advocates, fair enough. I however do not share your contentedness with the infliction of politics in sports. As I wrote earlier this is a political statement, an open ended leftist talking point endlessly repeated by the Sock Idiot like he’s some kind of retarded parrot. Funny how no one has ever asked him the intention and meaning of this statement. It probably has something to do with “having no core identity” which I also don’t like or agree with. It certainly doesn’t mean diversity of opinion or diversity of thought does it, at least not when PM Gay Socks says it. I don’t like the CFL regurgitating leftist political talking points, thats all, its tedious dumb and unnecessary… seriously, whats the point? Leave the identity politics and the globalist rhetoric to the corrupt Media and the political gangsters. Also I picked the Bombers to beat the Esks and you didn’t, so there, I win:)
Yer always picking against Winnipeg…must be a Rider fan….are the Bombers fer real? You Bet!
How did the Riders manage to trade defenses with Edmonton…Was missing a middle linebacker that difficult for Edmonton..tackling like High-School gymnastic No-Contact tumblers…WPG was not that good, Edmonton was that BAD….
It is a good thing that the Ref can’t award Points in the CFL
The message is Trudeau’s words. Striaght politics! They lost a fan when I saw that.
Edmonton has traded for all-star John Chick from Hamilton, making the Edmonton Defence a little better.
