  1. As usual, Limbaugh calls it as he sees it and makes many great points. I was disappointed though that Rush didn’t highlight Trump’s stepping things up with the media. At his kick-the-media’s-ass presser, Trump clearly and repeatedly called out the CNN scum, and their cohorts, as not just fake news but as hatemongers. It is undeniably accurate and no Republican but President Trump has the balls to call them out for it. Their behavior is intolerably subversive and anti-American and I hope he keeps hammering on that message.
Related, the left’s hate-filled attacks on their very own Bill Maher for inviting Milo on his Friday show are hilarious. Some are apoplectic that Maher dared agree with him om the threat of Islam. Known for being one of the few leftards willing to call out his own, I hope Maher is enjoying his own big bite of the sh*t sandwich that is known as liberal tolerance.

  2. I don’t get FOX News as part of my basic cable package, but have CNN rammed down my throat (thank you CRTC or the left-wing cable and sattelite providers, if they’re responsible, or both).
But I do get the 9AM (EST) broadcast on the local FOX affiliate in Buffalo and watched. It’s only one hour of FOX News per week but better than nothing, I guess. Great program.
BTW, interesting to note: prior to that 9AM broadcast, I was watching a CNN politics show from 8-9AM before FOX came on and everyone around the table leaned left… Ryan Lizza (New Yorker), Jackie Kucinich (DEMOCRAT Dennis’s daughter pretending to be a journalist), Julie Pace (AP), CNN’s Manu Ruju and his college who was hosting, both of whom are also left-wing journos.
The topic: Trump. Being discussed by? 5 journos who vote Democrat and voted for the loser. A groupthink exercise.
FOX NEWS, on the other hand, had a balanced panel of 4 guests: Karl Rove, a conservative journo whose name escapes me, a left-wing journo from The Washington Post and a left-wing academic.
Isn’t it CNN that’s always saying “don’t watch FOX, they are bias”? Hmmm.

  3. I always enjoy Rush’s commentary on the state of things.
Easily so much more trustworthy than the MSM talking heads.

  4. Rush, I believe, is always aware of his own reputation, which he guards ferociously; he qualifies things that he isn’t sure about, and emphasizes that which he believes is valid, and which will therefore enhance his current and future standing.
He knows, unlike the nameless and interchangeable liberals whose pronouncements are forgotten as soon as they’re uttered, if he calls it wrong it’s going to come back and bite him.

  5. Rush is absolutely correct about Trump and his supporters. We will NOT be separated from our choice for president. The dishonest media CANNOT separate any one of us from Trump. Only IF Trump turned into a John McCain, or Lindsey Graham … would we abandon Trump. MAGA ! Goooooooo President Trump ! We are all absolutely THRILLED with your first month in office.

  6. Civil “servants” who cannot show obedience to the present government must do the ethical thing and resign. Those who wish to dictate can run for office.
Or be fired; do we have one of the leakers here, inexplicably thinking going after his employer, divulging discussions with world leaders is acceptable?

Those supporting Obama’s alleged shadow government must go, with criminal charges for those security breachers who spy and tell on Americans.
The media has jettisoned accountability, fired by the voter – they have no moral authority in any way to comment on politics, partisan or otherwise.
The media wants Trump off balance – to preserve the status quo at all costs – so they can resume power, erode freedom and pillage the treasury.
“Enemies of Trump” are now de facto enemies of the state; they are sadly mistaken if they think their statism is the prerogative going forward.
Trump keeps them all off balance while governing; slowly but surely chipping away and ultimately destroying Obama’s leftist political culture coup.

  7. I haven’t listened to Rush much, but every time I do, I come away underwhelmed. He didn’t say much there. Much better, insightful commentary on blogs or youtube videos.
Not knocking Rush or his huge following. In the pre-internet era, it was valuable to have a conservative voice in the mix, and he was that. But now, with all the information and options we have, I can’t see why he remains so popular.

I’m a member of a discussion group which meets monthly to talk about intn’l, national and prov./local politics. When the Trump topic invariably arises I’m always amused at their laser-like focus on the man. That gives me the opportunity to jump in as a supporter of the policies he is working upon and that of course, puts me offside because they don’t spend a lot of time separating the two – hate the man, ergo, his policies must be malevolent too.
One of our group is a retired former federal gov’t employee -including a long stint with the Transportation Safety Board of Canada – whom one would think would be highly analytical. On hearing my defence of many of Trump’s policies muttered under his breath “every village has one”.
Yet when pressed on specific policy details, he will admit that paring government, reducing regulation and encouraging private enterprise to expand and innovate are all necessary.
Almost every social event I’ve attended of late is very similar. Someone says “Trump” and the assembled can hardly contain themselves in parroting the same ‘crazy, unqualified’ meme. I think they honestly believe that everyone believes exactly as they do and they just can’t imagine otherwise.
I’m loving being the cat amongst the pidgeons.

  9. Rush is entertaining, but, as with the President, his ouch-y kept him out of the military, and his wealth kept him out of prison after his drug conviction.

  10. Brick60 – If I spend all day on blogs or youtube, I will be fired. If I listen to podcasts of a radio program, or listen directly to the radio, I will not be fired. Given a choice between being employed and informed, I choose to be informed in a way that will not jeopardise my employment.
Rush is for the right in the US what The Daily Show is for the left – infotainment. Rush fills 3 hours a day with news based commentary without secondary writers. The Daily Show needs 30 writers to fill a half-hour show. If he didn’t entertain, and educate, his show would have died within a year or two. Hearing snippets of him talking or bits of his shows is like reading 3 or 4 paragraphs of a classic novel and dismissing the whole of it on the basis of the limited contact / context. I’ve been listening for over 10 years, and still regularly laugh at his presentation of the news and how the left responds to it.

  11. Would it not be nice if the media was able to tap into the conference calls from Obama to the democrats who are trying to sabotage Trump’s presidency. I guess that is wishful thinking

  12. “his ouch-y kept him out of the military”
I have done a lot of research into past wars. Recruiting people with ouchies probably cost billions in wasted effort and converted pre-existing conditions into lifetime pensions. A soldiers at less than 100 % is worse than no soldier.

  13. Rush’s “ouchie” was a total loss of hearing and he only hears now using “coclear” implants.

  14. Pro tip. If you want to listen to Rush in Canada you can find his podcast on youtube. It’s the whole show without commercials. Usually posted about 1pm PST each day.

  15. If you live in Southeast Sask (I do!) you can catch his 3 hour show on 550 AM Bismarck or 1090 AM Tioga North Dakota. I dont listen everyday, but when I do I enjoy the Hell out of it. He is smart articulate and funny. My only complaint is he is very repetitious. If you listen to him for long you learn a few things about him, He is not racist, not mysongistic, not a liar, and highly intelligent.

  16. Jon, we have cancelled our cable, and gone pure internet. If it is specific programs on FOX Business or Fox News that you want, many are available on Youtube within hours of the actually program….Lou Dobbs, Tucker Carlson, Neil Cavuto, etc

  17. the assembled can hardly contain themselves in parroting the same ‘crazy, unqualified’ meme. I think they honestly believe that everyone believes exactly as they do and they just can’t imagine otherwise.
Of course they do. Life is a continuous social event for these people and they seldom venture outside of the social bubble that reinforces their preconceived notions. That bubble does not encourage independent thought or critical thinking. Anyone who doesn’t parrot the ‘meme of the day’ risks social ostracism, and they fear that more than anything else. I call them sheeple.

  18. I never bought into the cableTV bullsh!t. I went from an antenna to internet. Broadcast/cable TV with adverts is for people who can’t think for themselves and watch sitcoms with laugh tracks or sports.

  19. Well said!
Allen West linked to this article today, and it`s a HUGE development:
    From New York Post:
    ————–
The manual, published with OFA partner “Indivisible,” advises protesters to go into halls quietly so as not to raise alarms, and “grab seats at the front of the room but do not all sit together.” Rather, spread out in pairs to make it seem like the whole room opposes the Republican host’s positions. “This will help reinforce the impression of broad consensus.” It also urges them to ask “hostile” questions — while keeping “a firm hold on the mic” — and loudly boo the the GOP politician if he isn’t “giving you real answers.”
“Express your concern [to the event’s hosts] they are giving a platform to pro-Trump authoritarianism, racism, and corruption,” it says.

The aim of Obama, Valerie Jarrett and Van Jones is to transform the USA into an Islamic state (in my opinion). Former CIA chief John Brennan used to be an Irish Catholic, until he converted to Islam.

  20. The best part of Rush’s show is when we hear seven sound bits in a row of the MSM using the exact same words or terms in their newscasts or commentaries. All reading from the same prompt book.

  21. In general, I agree with your post. You explain Trump support better than others on this thread.
As far as I have read and understand, the American people want President Trump to succeed and accomplish what Mr. Trump( now President) has promised them.
Woe unto those who oppose President Trump and his supporters. Trump and his supporters are the new wave of change and they represent not just difference, but strong opposition to what politically and economically was before.
If your resistance to change is great, do not expect the forces of change to be gentle.
You may think you are an obstacle, but mass public opinion is against you and you will be swept away.
Leftist anti-Americans, your time is past and the American people want a future filled with promise that they can work for and hope for.

  22. The West will have to separate for a populist Trump-like change in Canada. Canada is like a battered wife who will put up with continual abuse and just complain instead of leaving. The LIB have a strangle hold on urban southern Ont-Que; it’s time to cut ’em loose from xfer payments.

  23. ok mack, you just proved your stupid bonafides. rush had a prescribed dependence on pain pills. get over yourself just like he got over his prescribed addiction.
