  1. Progressives knock down walls without an exit stratagy and find out why there were walls. Pandora’s box is open.

  2. It’s the new and improved Nazis, they just don’t have the ‘cool’ Hugo Boss uniforms with the SS stripes.

Naturally, its cheaper to KILL PEOPLE than look after them…

  3. So, can hear again from the libertarian defenders of the right to die (at taxpayers’ dime)? When we were telling you that was the end game, you sneered and told us we were paranoid. How about now? No time to talk? Need to get in line up for your daily does of Soylent Green? F***ing ghouls.

  4. It is carbon sink elimination,,, What do you expect when 16 % of Humans are Carbon….The Climate fear mongering only increases..we are the problem and the final solution.

  5. This was and has been inevitable for the last twenty years.Anyone paying attention to the rhetoric and Bills politicians were attempting to pass, combined with a population that is living on average about 15 years too long, and the final solution the governments would look to became apparent.
Decent,God-fearing people should have no trouble accepting the chance to meet their Maker at age,oh……say….85,and if that doesn’t save enough money, we can lower the age of “carousel”,for want of a better name, in increments of 5 years. No one will notice until it’s their turn, and within one generation it will be considered treasonous to resist.
“Save the planet! Die”. Makes a great bumper sticker.
The perfect situation would be raising the age a person can collect his pension to 70, then lower the age of the “Wafting off to the Afterlife” program to 75! Some bureaucrat would get a mention in dispatches for that suggestion!
Of course Sarah Palin was right, she just didn’t couch the statement in comforting euphemisms, which is what progressives and millennials want, so she was ridiculed and declared insane by the Left.
Right to die legislation will be passed here in socialist Canader where De Gummint has to fork out for our health care. Those “care” homes full of old,old people are burning up scarcer and scarcer dollars, gotta do something……
I’ll leave it to a genius such as Gerald Butts to figure out how to present this in a palatable way, maybe they could load up on Public Affairs programs on CBC detailing the tremendous suffering of the elderly, and how badly they are treated in care homes. Show a few old ladies crying, that always gets ’em.
After a few months of propaganda, the public should be ripe for the killing,of their old folks. Millennials,of course, will never grow old.
They’re in for a hell of a shock in about 50 years.
Interesting that the captcha is “plaza kill”.

  6. If you like your executioner, you can keep your executioner.
But it will be a bullet to the back of your head soon enough – the endpoint of all socialist experiments.

  7. Exactly Hans, and all of the above.
This Wettlaufer was just ahead of the liberal game plan to bump off the old and infirm. Himmler and Dr. Mengele would be proud of her. So who is next on the list? Paging Adolf Eichmann.

  8. The movie is called “Logan’s Run”. We have had centuries of warning that this was coming. We just kept voting for ever more government.

  9. we pay through the nose for government interference in our lives. nothing is free and that includes death.

  10. “I’m all for snuffing pubic servants at 50 years old … some at 45 … or 40.”

  11. (Sarcasm On)-New York State Insurers; quickly followed by all other States of the Union; will be adding another small print paragraph to ObamaCare insurance Applications which says; and I paraphrase —–if the person(s) named in this Health Care Policy experience any Health Concerns which are normally considered a Terminal Illness then this Health Care Policy Automatically becomes a California Health Care Policy—-.
All costs will Automatically; without Recourse, be totally covered by the California laws on Terminal Illness.—(Sarcasm-Off)

  12. Well….. to each his own opinion. Mine does differ in various ways from most so far expressed. It’s a philosophical and a religious issue.
I’m completely AGAINST any group (government, insurance company, religious group, etc) claiming authority over my choice to live or die. That goes both ways doesn’t it. Commanding me to live a miserable, painful life is no less oppressive than telling me that I life a miserable, painful life and must die.
The woman in the story above made a choice, at least for now. The disease is progressive. Maybe she’ll change her mind…. or not.

  13. Have walked with several family members through their last days. Fortunately, none were in intractable pain, though there were other problems. Our family gained immeasurably by taking these walks; these gains have and will in the future help us to be better (in the Christian sense) men and women as we go forward in our lives. Sadly, this option will probably not be open to our children (who were with us on these journeys), let alone our grandchildren. Shorn of all emotional and uplifting rhetoric, “assisted suicide” is very cost-effective, both for the state and for the families.
But I still think of a friend whose spouse died of brain cancer. The comment I got was that, in spite of the spouse’s pain and suffering during the last week, they had a really good last week together. That is how it should be. Let the proper painkillers (eg heroin) be utilized; these will let the terminally ill go out truly peacefully.
