   Did I mention Venzuela was the Richest Country in South America before Socialism eliminated the work ethic. Yep! Fifteen Years ago there was a healthy vibrant economy and the availability to Food and Medicine was similar to Canada.—–NOW–Venezuela not so much…..FUTURE–Canada not so sure.

9. They’re essentially back to the 1930’s, pre-antibiotics. My mum and her sister were both RN’s, training in the 1930’s. Both recalled vividly the attempts to stem infections, and what a miracle it was when sulfa drugs and later penicillin began to be used. They were also, sadly, too well acquainted with deaths of friends from “blood poisoning” as in infection run amok.
