So, to recap. Forty or so “social justice” protestors disrupt a keynote address at DePauw University, holding signs that scold the audience for being insufficiently deferential to the protestors’ racial fixations and delusions of being oppressed. Being schooled in “privilege and identity,” and therefore suitably cowed and pretentious, the audience starts applauding the disruption, and applauding the scolding being aimed at them.
And then those applauding are promptly scolded for doing so.
Seriously. We need a World War to re-set priorities.

More and more our society is being controlled by an anarchist/communist coalition and designed to destroy our western civilization. Guess who is waiting in the wings to take over and showing us their future designs with increasingly more often little little attacks. Meanwhile our progressive leadership not only allows it but often encourages it. They are creating a monster that will soon be out of control.
This particular incident reminds me of a combination of the self incrimination show trial in Stalinist Russia and the Red Guards in China.

A broad base of people were saying exactly the same thing in 1914 …. by 1918 priorities had been re-set but not as expected.

I was a young teen ager and Tee Vee was still at it’s infancy stage, but the News Coverage was typical to the type of coverage Canadians were subjected too with the “Duffy Affair”. I have wondered over the years “what if McCarthy was correct and just pilloried into submission.
I have never really read much more than passing references to this period of Poltical Arena History/Theater & will make it a reading project.
One recollection; somewhere in the Late Sixties-Early Seventies was an article saying the Sports Fixation of the American People began in the 1950’s because an Ordinary American Citizen was afraid to discuss the “McCarthy Affair’ in Public and/or Private discussion.
When you have no basis for determining thought or values one becomes susceptible to whatever makes sense within your life experience or more importantly what was imbedded during formative years. No Ten Commandments and no understanding of scientific skepticism.
Combine all this with the realization that the modern world has no real place for those who cannot grasp reality or educate themselves. Ford’s production line created a middle class that did not have to ‘think it through’ all that much. Their union or their politicians took care of them. Well all that is surely ending and quickly. IMHO that is why both Trump and Clinton, sad as they are, are POTUS candidates.

Well, he was correct. The US government was in fact riddled with Communist/Soviet agents. The various disclosures of Cold War espionage archives from the former Soviet Union have proved that beyond doubt.
The open question is whether he was right for the right reasons – did he actually know that the accusations he was making were true, or was he on a delusional witch hunt that just happened to have a basis in truth? In at least one case, no evidence has been found to support his accusations of espionage against a named defendant.
No one “needs” another f…..g war. These pampered brats likely have never had a spanking nor worked in a physically demanding job. They are the product of a failing socialist (redundant, I know) education system and are only capable of parroting the narratives of the tenured “arts” professoriate that belong in a job flipping burgers. They are nothing new, just the latest ridiculous variant reflecting the bankruptcy of progressive culture. They would all be better off if they traded their “arts education” from a modern university for a library card (or interweb equivalent) and became self-educated.
