  5. Last year eh? Let me see – the election was October 19th. How is the increase in crime over a full year JT’s fault? Or did crime sharply spike in the last 2.5 months of the year? Hate JT all you want, but do try to provide coherent arguments. This kind of comment isn’t making conservatives look terribly intelligent, which is probably why we ended up with JT, Wynne, Notley.. If you wish to blame a PM, then blame Harper. He was in charge for most of the year – oh, good thing the CBC didn’t report it that way, eh?

Remember upped crime rates in down economies are only the fault of Conservatives, so ditch the hate OK Jean. Remember we help the poor by increasing their taxes. Oh and don’t forget the CTB never existed, nor the UCCB, but if you weren’t so hateful you’d realize the munificent benevolence of the Grits’ “NEW BENEFIT.”
    $10b in broken promises already, plus still managing to run deficits 3 times promised. That’s just $120b additional debt for 1% growth rates. Remember the doctrine, big government is good government.
    What reasonable person would disagree with that. The progressive status quo paradox is our reality. That’s the best we can do. Then again VP pick Pence said they use the same argument there and retorted, no “that’s the best they (the Dems) can do.” I forgot, liberty is an American concept. Only a hater wouldn’t understand government is virtuous, even when it steals and lies, and creates jobs and prosperity out of thin air.

    Except for minor inconveniences like negative yield bonds. After all the Canadian dollar is going to rise big time with all the government “investment” from apparently opportunity cost free taxes, so no risk there, so long as nobody hoards cash in deflationary environments.

  17. Cruz gambled for 2020 POTUS run? Why on earth would the GOP entertain a candidate whose chance for success depends on the Republicans losing bit in the 2016 election? The answer is nobody, at least in the GOP.

The big driver is break and enters, thefts from vehicles and thefts of vehicles… and it continues to cascade into 2016.”
    Crime continues to rise at abnormally high rates under the Trudeau-II regime. They’ve dismantled the ‘tough on crime’ measures introduced by the Harper govt or made them ineffectual. Your argument would only have merit if crime the rates had gone down with the soft-on-crime Trudeau-II regime, but they haven’t have they?

  28. I am not talking about other candidates. I am talking specifically about Cruz. And given the vicious attacks from Trump on Cruz family, I can’t blame Cruz for changing his mind. Had Trump behaved in a civilized way I would be disappointed by Cruz, but Trump did not behave in civilized way, he went all tabloid on Cruz. I will not be blaming Cruz for not ignoring what would a be grounds for a duel not so long ago.
