  1. Whether or not we can rely on them, the road has been paved for solar and wind. Read in an article yesterday that said so. While coming back from the interior of BC last summer I counted apx. 300 wind turbines in the Coaldale to Pincher Creek area. My best count was 5 that were turning, so potentially putting out power. The article claims Albertans will be delighted to see renewables finally being utilized. Groan.

  2. and this the week we find out Free & Green energy just cost Ontario taxpayers an extra $37 Billion.
    Thirty Seven BILLION.
Wonder how much Healthcare that would buy, support for our Vets, Seniorcare, improved roads and infrastructure.

  3. Wind Energy just like solar energy just more rediculous ideologies from these eco-freaks and back to nature twats many of these wind farm owners are covering up the bird and bat mortaility rates from these things and those idiots from the various eco-freak groups(Greenpeace,Sierra Club,WWF,Etc)wont ever mention this fact and did you know the National Audubon Society has Oil Wells?

  4. The next big fraud is that price justification will “Assume” that C02 reduction controls the climate. They will use carbon pricing (Counting Coal cars) to “increase” the cost of fossil fuel energy and likewise “decrease” the actual cost of (so called) renewables.
They want to disconnect climate change from C02 by claiming it’s already proven beyond any scientific doubt that we control our climate, that is nonsense!
The only acceptable measurement must be in degrees of climate change. The public must be made aware that the 2 degree change (increase or decrease)may be demonstrated by a simple measurement of the existing temperature at your Head Vs the existing temperature at you feet. If the planet warms in 60 years your feet will feel the same temperature as your head does now.
    A fraud is fraud..is a fraud

  5. Thats what I thought Nemo, I told my wife the night they elected Justy that the evil old lizard man would be on the first Gulfstream out of China back to the Laurentians. Canada is a cold banana republic.

  6. So Maurice Strong, international thief, returned to Canada before he died under the protection of strongman Trudeau.

  7. That clip is more information that the average liberal voter would be able to absorb in one shot.
    They prefer one-liners … like
“What do we want climate change to do … STOP!”
“When do we want it to stop …. NOW!”
There are so many dots to connect when we talk about ‘climate change’ and the left doesn’t even know where the dots are.
And please understand that an energy subsidy to buy an idiotic electric car or some-such, means I have to chip in on your new car.
    WHY?
And please understand that climate change is normal and constant and no big deal. We as a species we have adapted to all climate change in the past without heavy taxation and without guilt trips over uh … what’s the word I’m looking for … oh ya … ‘denial’

  8. The eco-crucifixes (Delingpole’s words) are beyond reason and basic numeracy. They are an article of faith to the parishioners and political clergy of green theocracy while providing the essential supply of loot for the massive orgy of rent seekers. The Paris event is their equivalent of the annual pilgrimage to Mecca.

  9. I like what Trump says. He believes in clean water and air…that’s all. Forget trying to be super human and change the climate. What a crock!

  10. If, and this is a big one, anyone can demonstrate how reliable, safe and worthy of investment their technology is, it would be the manufacturers of said technology.
Why are there no manufacturers of solar and wind generators that rely solely on their own technology to manufacture their products? Not reliable or cost effective enough is my guess.
Ever see a steel plant smelting with only solar panels or wind mills for power? Even google couldn’t make solar work on their offices. I expect there are quite a few bright people working for them.

  11. Even google couldn’t make solar work on their offices. I expect there are quite a few bright people working for them.

Perhaps if they sat them down in front of the solar panels.

  12. I’m an environmental professional, and I don’t understand how people think solar and wind are anything other than sideshows. Natural gas + nuclear + hydro is very cheap, low pollution, and even low carbon.

  13. The sad truth about PV solar panels is that any panel that is line of sight of a nuclear EMP explosion will instantly and totally be ruined by the voltage pulse. Period. Not fixable. Trashed. No Juice.
Thus, it is irresponsible for any electric utility to have more than a few percent of capacity in the form of PV solar.

  14. Ted Kennedy and family FOUGHT against, and killed, a massive wind farm visible from their Hyannisport waterfront estate. The ONE time I have ever agreed with Teddy … that wind farms are a BLIGHT on the landscape. I am literally SICKENED by the proliferation of these cancers destroying the natural landscape of America. Where are the NATIVE peoples protesting this mistreatment of Mother Earth ? Oh, that’s right … they are PROFITING from the land leases

  15. Solar can be the future, the price of solar cells have gone down over 90 percent. The biggest cost factor is silver. Some companies have already claimed new technology that can use aluminum as a substitute. This would drive the price so low, it would only make sense to use it every where. Unfortunately the output of these cells, is small, so it would be fine for residential, but could never power a Steel mill.Would the government accept the fact they have to pay 100 percent of the cost, with industry. As home owners go off the grid not likely, this leads us back to square one fossil fuels.
